I give up
Natsu's POV
I stood on the roof of the school, wallowing in self pity. Tears roll down my eyes remembering what happened yesterday.
Flashback...
"Natsu! Over here." Lisanna waved at me. I sat on the chair infront of her.
"Look, I'm really sorry about--" She said sadly.
"Hey! It's alright. I'm happy for you and Bickslow, I'm just glad you told me the truth than hearing it from someone else." I smiled.
"Thank you Natsu! I just missed you so much." Tears of flowed down her cheeks.
I went to her and hugged her as I smiled.
"Hey there baby!" I bent down to Lisanna's stomach and gently touched it.
"Do you have an name for him or her?" I smiled
"N-no, me and Bickslow are still thinking of a name." She said shyly.
"Hmm.." I hummed thinking of a name. I looked out to the coffee shop thinking I might find a good name.
Instead I found Lucy and Zeref holding hands. It pissed me off. I clenched my fists and saw them leave.
"Hey, Lisanna?" I lowered my head.
"What is it?" She asked curiously.
"My dad called me yesterday, he asked me if I could help out with the business in Europe, but if I leave I'll miss Lucy, but there's another catch, she's engaged to my cousin. Should I go?" I said.
I felt my heart burn slowly. I put my palm on my chest pushing it hard.
I was trying to push away the pain but it didn't work.
"N-natsu, I'm so sorry. W-well if you still want to fight for Lucy you should stay, but if you can't take the pain, you walk away." She sighed
"Walk away, huh? That's what Lucy did, right? She left me helpless and moved on, loving my cousin instead of me." I bit my lip preventing my tears.
"Natsu, she didn't leave you helpless it's not her fault. She didn't know you had a car accident." She stroked my hair.
"I think I want to leave. She's still engaged anyway. She's still with Zeref." My voice cracked.
"N-natsu." She sighed
"Thanks Lisanna, for being a friend. I'll go now." I walked away. I heard Lisanna say something but I didn't really hear it.
End of Flashback...
I looked at the engagement ring one last time before I hide it where no one else will find it.
I closed the velvet box and placed it on a ziplock bag.
I approached he cherry blossom tree and I dug a hole, burrying the ring along with my pain.
"Time to start a new life." I breathed and rested my head on the trunk of the tree.
I took my car and drove to the airport.
"Goodbye Luce." I whispered to myself.
I looked back at the waiting area thinking that maybe, just maybe I'd see her one last time.
No one was there.

Lucy's POV
I sat on the couch waiting for Grandine.
"Big sister?" Wendy appeared from the dining room.
She cracked as small tears on the sides of her eyes.
"Wendy what's wrong?" My eyes widened.
She ran up to me and I hugged her tightly.
"Nee-san." She weeped.
"W-what about Natsu?" I shivered.
"Oh darling Lucy, you missed him. Natsu left an hour ago." Grandine sighed.
"T-to where?" I choked in fear.
"To Europe. I don't know when he'll come back. He's helping Igneel with the business." She said sadly.
"W-What?" Tears shed, my sight was a blur. I strokes Wendy's hair.
I didn't even get to tell him.
"C-can I go to his room and check if he left me something?" I weeped.
"Of course honey." Grandine replied.
I walked to his room. It was as clean as ever, but something caught my eye, it was the painting I made for him.
I looked around but he didn't leave me anything. No letter, no note, no goodbye.
I sat on the bed feeling helpless.
"You two would have been so good together." Grandine sighed. She was standing by the open door.
"Big sis?" Wendy sat next to me.
"He didn't even say goodbye." My voice cracked.
I cried hard catching tears on my hands as as covered my face. I couldn't take it, my cries were loud.
Grandine sat next to me. Both Wendy and Grandine comforted me.
As soon as I stopped crying, I thanked the Dragneels and went to the hospital.
I asked my dad if we could talk outside.
He leaned against the wall waiting for me to talk.
"Father, I'm going to Europe." I said courageously
"What?! You can't!" His eyes widened.
"Why?" I asked him
"You're mother needs you here. Can't you see that she's in the hospital because we left her for 4 straight years. She's depressed." He looked at me seriously.
"Alright Father. I'll stay." I said sadly.
He was right, I am my mother's stress reliever, if I leave she might get another seizure, and I know how much that hurts.
"Why do want to leave anyway?" He asked.
"Natsu left. I want to go after him." I shaked
"That boy has caused you so much trouble as it is. I'm starting to think that he's not good for you. If I were you I'd marry Loke or Zeref. I don't want you to go under depression again. I can't loose you or you mother. You got that?" He stared at me with his concerned eyes.
I nodded and entered my mother's room.

Before the day ended I had asked my female friends to meet me. They told me we should meet up at Levy's place.
I drove slowly checking Levy's new address.
I parked my car outside their house and pressed the doorbell button.
"Hey Lucy!" Levy smiled as she opened her gate.
We walked to her living room. It was nice and spacious. There I saw Juvia, Erza and Yukino.
"Hey Lucy." They all greeted in unison.
"Did you guys know?" I asked sadly
"We just found out." Erza breathed.
"Lucy." I heard a male voice come up to me and I felt arms around me.
I saw a small glimpse of orange hair on my shoulders.
"Hi Loke." I smiled.
"You know, I'm still here. I've still been waiting for you." He smiled and stood up properly.
Erza threw a pillow on his face and she huffed in anger.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?! Natsu just left her and you're expecting her to date you?! Do you know how much pressure your giving her?!" She raised her voice.
"Erza are you alright?" I giggled
"W-well, Jellal and Erza just had a little fight." Juvia smiled nerviously.
"That wasn't a fight! We were debating on something!" Erza denied and she crossed her arms.
"Hey, will you guys calm down? You're messing up our game." Gajeel leaned on the room of the door.
"What's going on anway?" Gray stood behind him.
"Why are you guys here?" I smiled.
"I told Gajeel I was inviting the girls over. He didn't want to be the only guy in the house so he invited the guys here." Levy explained
"But I thought Gajeel stayed on his apartment." I giggled.
"Oh I forgot to tell you. Me and Gajeel are engaged and we both live together now. We haven't planned the wedding yet because we're busy with work." She giggled.
"Really?! Oh how exciting!" I jumped to hug Levy.
"Lucy? Is that you?" I voice came out from the 'game room'
"Uh, yeah." I knew that voice.
"Hey Blondie." He walked out from the room and came up to me.
"Hey Blondie." I smiled and he hugged me.
I hugged back and we both pulled away.
"So, what are we going to do know?" Loke sighed.
"Can we do something fun to keep my mind off of Natsu?" I said.
"Wait, Natsu? I thought you were engaged to Zeref?" Loke stated.
"I told Zeref to cancel the wedding. I told him what happened at the beach house and that I loved Natsu." I explianed
"You went through all that and Natsu still left?!" Erza was bouled up in anger.
The door bell made a sound.
"I'll get it." Gajeel said
"What did Zeref say?" Levy asked
The door opens behind us but all attention was on me.
"He said that he respects my decision and that he'll stay beside me as friends and that he loves me." I said sadly.
"Why can't I have a boyfriend like that?" Erza complains.
"If that's what you want." Jellal had arrived.
He gave a sad smile at Erza.
"Oh, Jellal. I'm sorry I didn't mean--" Erza was cut
"It's fine, I'll treat you better than I did." He lowered his head and walked slowly toward Erza.
"We'll just be in the 'game room" Sting said as we all backed away.

Erza's POV
Everyone had entered the game room and left me and Jellal in the living room.
"Jellal--" I started
"You deserve better, I'm sorry I got mad at you. I didn't mean to get jealous." He breathed.
"Jellal." I smiled and hugged him.
"I was too stupid to realize that you're the best boyfriend ever, I'm already treated like a princess when you're around." I pulled back looking into his eyes.
He looked at me with his eyes wide open, he blushed crimson. He froze, not saying anything and it made me giggle.
"I love you Jellal." I smiled.
"I-I love you too." He replied. He was still shocked from what I said. I rarely say sweet things
Seconds later he smiled, containing his composure.
He touched my cheek softly and pulled my face to his as he lowered his head.
Our lips touched, and that soft and warm sensation shivered down to my body, feeling my stomach flutter.
I never get tired of this feeling.
