Lucy's POV

I had emailed my mother a week ago saying that I had scheduled a flight back to Japan today. She hasn't replied, but I'm sure she got it.

I was on my way to the airport with Zeref. I wasn't taking my eyes of the road but Zeref was unbearably silent.

I know he doesn't want me to leave but I'm going to inherit the company soon. My father has agreed to include Zeref to be one of the bachelors. 

I have to stay in Japan as a training Manager for the whole company, Zeref has to tend his business in America, that's why we have to stay apart for a while. Maybe a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 4 years.

"Zeref please talk to me, I can't take it. Can you at least use up all the seconds you have with me?" I said sadly.

It hurt leaving him here but this is for both of us. As soon as I finish my training I'll go back to America and choose Zeref to be my husband.

"I-I just want to stare at you till you leave." He said faintly.

I glanced at him as he gave me a teary smile. I know he loves me, but he doesn't have to make this so hard for me.

My eyes began to tear up. I decided to stop the car parking at the side of the road.

"Lucy?" He looked at me in confusion.

"Get out of the car." He continued and I did what he said.

We stood beside the car, he pulled me into his arms.

"It's hard for me too, but I have a request. Before you leave I want you to smile." He whispered.

I nodded and smiled.

"I'll drive the car okay?" He said in a low tone.

We arrived at the airport, just in time for my flight, when I entered the waiting area I saw bouquets of flowers lined up. I saw Ultear and Mavis cheering.

Zeref ran infront of me taking a microphone. Everyone was staring at us.

"Lucy Hearfilia! Will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" He said kneeling on one knee.

Everyone was silent. Mavis took the microphone from his hands as he took a red velvet box from his pocket.

He opened the box showing a beautiful diamond ring, it sparkled against the light. The sight was breathtaking.

The perfect boyfriend kneeling down on one knee, holding a perfect diamond ring. I teared up again. My face was as red as a tomato, causing my heart rate to go absolutely insane, if that was even possible.

I cupped my face trying to hold my gasps.

"Lucy?" He asked, clicking me back to reality.

"Zeref! Yes!" I cried.

His face went in shock giving me the most amazing smile.

He took my left hand placing the ring on my finger. He hugged me tightly as did I.

"Wait one second." He said.

He started running around the waiting area shouting "She said yes!"

Everyone in the room started cheering and clapping. Some even had it recorded.

I laughed at his energetic reaction, at his final lap around the waiting area he carried me as I pulled our faces together.

I crashed my lips against his, he lowered me down slowly, cupping my cheeks as his kissed me back harder.

"I love you so much Lucy. I really do." He smiled showing a crimson glow on his cheeks.

"I love you so much Zeref." I said, he kissed me again.

Then an announcement came saying that the plane was ready.

"I'll see you later baby." He smiled. I gave him one last peck on the lips.

"I'll see you later." I blushed and I ran out to catch up to the others.

I called my mother as I walked out the airport.

"Hello? Mom? I'm back in Japan. Could you ask someone to pick me up?"

"Oh honey, I'm already outside with Sting." She giggled.

"What? Where?" I said as I stared out to the road looking for them.

"Over here honey!" She said as Sting waved his hands to catch my attention.

They were walking towards me. I ran to Stings arms as he carried me in circles.

"Lucy! You're as beautiful as ever." He smiled.

"Thank you Sting." I smiled back.

"Mom!" I cried.

I hugged my mother.

"Welcome home darling." She hugged back.

"Let's go eat lunch. I'm starving." Sting said

"Oh I'll settle in first." I smiled.

"I'll go ahead and prepare the lunch. Go to this place." He said as he gave me an address.

"Okay, I'll catch up with you. Come on mom." I said and we made our way back to the house.

"Honey? I want you to wear this." My mother said pulling a dress out of my closet.

It was the white dress Natsu gave me.

"Mom, you know what happened to me and Natsu right?" I said

"Yes, I do. But I saw something different, you both had something special. It wasn't supposed to be ruined." She said sadly.

"Mom, I'm getting married to Zeref." I told her.

"Oh. I'm sorry. I had no idea, congratulations then Lucy." She smiled. 

I thought she'd be more excited. I sighed.
I know my mother likes Natsu but once she'll meet Zeref, I know she'll love him.

"Will you at least wear the dress one last time?" She asked.

"Okay." I sighed, smiling. I wore the dress with white stilettos and a white scarf, I pulled my hair back flowing naturally and I wore some jewelry along with my engagement ring.

My phone rang. I checked the caller ID: Sting Euclife

"Sting?" I asked

"LUCYYY!!!" Girls shout.

"L-Levy!!" I squealed

"Come here! Now! We want to see you!" She yelled

"Alright! I'm on my way." I laughed.

I grabbed my keys.

"Let's go mom." I said

"No, I'll stay here. I have to tend to something." She smiled

"Well okay. Bye mom." I kissed her cheek.

I drove my white bugatti to a hotel where Sting had told me to go.

"Excuse me." I asked a receptionist.

"Oh! You must be Lucy Heartfilia! Follow me." She said leading me to a function room.

I opened the door slowly, unsure of going in. I wasn't ready to see Natsu's face, if he's even was there.

The room was dark. Levy popped out in sync with the lights as they turned on.

"WELCOME HOME LUCY!" They yelled.
