Ash hummed happily as they sat in the hammock in their backyard, their black headphones blasting My Chemical Romance into their ears as they stared up at the baby blue colored sky. A happy sigh left their lips as they began to think. Maybe they would get on their skateboard and go around the neighborhood, or go to get some ice cream, or maybe even go to the library to get lost in the world of books. Ash sat up, pausing their music before pulling their headphones off, letting them rest around the back of their neck. They stood, humming as they walked inside their house. At the backdoor to greet Ash was their cat, Bandit. A warm smile formed on Ash's lips as they knelt down to pet their little furry child. Ash looked up at the sound of footsteps, seeing their mother walking into the room. Their mother looked over, flashing a sweet smile to her child. Ash returned the smile as they stood.
          "I'm gonna head out to the park. Is that fine?" Ash asked, their mother nodding in response. "Just be back by seven, okay?" their mother asked, Ash nodding in response. It was around one thirty, so Ash was able to be out for a while. Ash walked out the front door, closing it behind them as they bent over to grab their red colored skateboard. They hummed happily ash they walked down the porch steps, walking to the driveway. Their eyes landed on the house right next door, seeing a red car and a moving truck in the driveway. A female with brown hair that reached just past her shoulders walked out of the house, her using her middle finger to push her glasses up. She wore a pale purple hoodie that was a little big on her, a pair of black jeans hugging her legs a little tightly. Her black knee high boots made somewhat loud tapping noises as she approached the moving truck. Ash froze, not being able to take her eyes off of the girl. The girl hadn't seemed to notice Ash, her walking into the back of the truck. She stepped out, holding a somewhat big brown cardboard box. She bit her lip, seeming to loose grip on the box. Just as the girl was about to drop the box, Ash rushed over and lifted the other side to help the girl. The girl flashed a sweet smile to Ash, a piece of her brown hair falling in front of her face.
          "Thank you so much," the girl said, Ash's face flushing a pale pink color as they smiled back, nodding in response. The girl made her way past Ash, Ash watching her go inside in case she would need any help again. Once the girl was inside, Ash set their skateboard down and rode their way to the park.

             Ash skidded their skateboard to a stop as they arrived to the park, humming as they looked around. Ash picked up their skateboard, walking around the concrete paths as they began to think to themselves. Walking around the park's paths always helped Ash clear their mind or think of things to do later on. A quiet whirring sound filled Ash's ears, causing them to stop their walk and listen. Ash looked around the trail in confusion, her eyes landing on a nearby bush. A pink light glowed within the bush, causing Ash to raise a brow in confusion. Their curiosity got the better of them, for they walked over to the bush. Ash knelt down, digging into the bush. Their hand touched something cold, causing them to jump. They hesitantly grabbed it, pulling it out of the bush. It was a pink glowing crystal, which stopped whirring once Ash grabbed it. They heard a group of people coming near, a wave of panic coursing through Ash. They quickly shoved the crystal into their hoodie pocket as they set their skateboard down, stepping on it and quickly riding away.
