I know that I haven't been updating my other work, but I just want to distract my mind, I really don't want to think about various things.  And the only thing I could think of that would help is to type up a few chapters.

On a side note, a while back I wrote an original story called "Unexpected Recruitment" which I submitted into the Fusion Awards, and well just today the results were announced, and I got second place.

I was completely dumbfounded and took me a good minute for it set in.

Anyways, I'm sorry for any spelling or grammar errors.

"You cheated!" Nobara yelled as she slammed down her cards onto the small table making it shake.

There was no way that she could have lost at the one game that she was most confident in.  Old Maid.

"I didn't." Fushiguro sighed already used to Nobara's outbursts, "You're just too obvious with your cards.

The siblings looked back and forth between Fushiguro and Nobara.  It was actually a very funny sight to see.  It would have been even better if Gojo had been there and teased them.

Well, only for a short while since it would go from hilarious to annoying.

"Your turn." Shina said as she ignored the other two as she looked at her card then to Yuuji.

Yuuji picked his card and looked at his deck of cards to try and find a matching card in his hand.  He shook his head and turned his head towards Fushiguro to wait for his turn.

Fushiguro turned away from Nobara who was still arguing and picked up a card.

They were all in Fushiguro's room, which Fushiguro at first had rejected the idea but the others stormed in (Yuuji and Nobara).  They were in their casual clothes instead of their uniforms.

Fushiguro picked out the matching card from his hand and placed it on the table.  He only had four more cards, unlike Nobara who seemed like she almost had the entire deck of cards in her hands.

With a huff Nobara continued with the game, "Fushiguro." She called out, "If you win, you'll buy as all of us a smoothie."

"Kugisaki, shouldn't it be the other way.  The looser buys for the others?" Yuuji asked.

Nobara glared at him, "You be quiet!" She already had enough with basically loosing this game, and then she would have to buy everyone drinks.  And she knew just how Yuuji liked to eat, though it was much better than the appetite that Gojo had for sweets.  And besides she would need some consolation, she had reasoned with herself.

"Whatever." He didn't really care, after all it wasn't Fushiguro's money, it was Gojo's money.

After what seemed like hours, the game was now up to Nobara and Yuuji.

"Hey brat, you're rather useless at this." Sukuna's mocking voice came from Yuuji's cheek.

With a sigh and frown, Yuuji slapped his hand on his cheek, but Sukuna appeared on the other cheek.

"It looks like a boring game.  It would be more interesting to turn this place into fire and blood!" He laughed causing the other people in the room to sigh already used to hearing such things form Sukuna.

Shina who was sitting next Yuuji looked intently at Sukuna's one eye and mouth.  She had never really seen it up so close, it was rather interesting to see but at the same time it was disturbing.  To think that a fanged mouth could appear on someone.

'Does it feel uncomfortable?' Shina wondered as she looked at Sukuna's one eye and mouth.

Sensing her gaze, Sukuna's one eye turned to her, looking at her for a split second before turning away and paid her no mind as if she weren't worth his time.

She was glad that he didn't pay her any attention but felt insulted in some way.  She felt annoyed, especially since he was the cause of the pending execution of Yuuji, though Yuuji was also at fault for eating the finger after she had told him on multiple occasions to not eat random things.

Reaching her hand towards the center of the circle they had formed on the floor, she picked up a piece of popcorn.

'This will show him.' She thought as she quickly tossed the popcorn into Sukuna's mouth while he was in the middle of further insulting Yuuji and the rest.

She instantly regretted that choice.  If Yuuji didn't have control of Sukuna, she would have been dead by now.

Her mouth instantly went dry, 'He's going to kill me.  I'm going to die...' She thought appalled at her own actions.  At first it seemed like a brilliant idea, but the second the popcorn had left her hand, she felt as if her heart had stopped beating for a few seconds in fear waiting for Sukuna to take over and kill her.

The room was dead silent, expect for the cussing and insults thrown at Shina.

She felt her blood run cold, she didn't mean to do that.  She did it mostly without thinking about it.

Yuuji and Nobara burst out laughing.  The King of Curses had popcorn stuffed into his mouth.  It was interesting to say the least.

But Shina thought otherwise.  After all she had wanted to talk to him and ask some questions, and now that idea seems to far awhile and likely to never happen.  Unless she maybe offered him something worth his time and interest.

Gojo almost doubled over in laughter as he placed his hands on his stomach while they were recounting what had happened hours ago with Shina tossing popcorn into Sukuna's mouth.

"I wish I had seen it." Gojo sighed, feeling disappointed that he was out on a mission instead of being there and being able to see what had happened.

"It was really funny."  Yuuji laughed.

'I hate this.' Shina groaned as she sunk in further into the seat in the lounge almost wishing she could sink into the seat and never come back, hoping that everyone would forget what had happened.  Especially hoping that Sukuna had forgotten.  But that was something that would never happen.

He was someone who would hold a grudge.  And if he were able to fully incarnate after consuming all the fingers, after all of the jujutsu sorcerers were killed, he would go after her and make her suffer for the humiliation of tossing popcorn into his mouth.  And having the other "idiots" laugh at HIM!  Him, the king of curses, being treated in such a way.  Shina was sure that if Sukuna didn't go after the sorcerers, she would be the first one his list to be delt with.

She wanted to apologize, but it was heavily frowned upon by the other people in the room to do that.  She had even been told that Sukuna had it coming.  But she didn't want to die from his grudge!  And she wanted to get a chance to ask him questions too.

Seeming to notice her discomfort and embarrassment, the other four let the topic drop.  Something that she was grateful for, but she knew that they would be talking about it when she wasn't there.

And it would make things worse, since Sukuna would be there hearing everything that they said.  And Yuuji would probably make fun of him for that too!  Which would make things worse.

"Who wants to play another game?" Gojo asked as he looked at them all.

"I think I'll just watch." Shina said not wanting to play, especially if she had to sit next to Yuuji and have Sukuna insult her and threaten her more than he already had.

The other four began their new game of the board game "Are You Normal?"

At hearing the name of it, one thought came to the minds of Fushiguro and Shina, 'Gojo is anything but normal.'

It seemed like an interesting game; it seemed kind of fun.  Maybe she should get the chance to play it with everyone else.

"Are you sure you don't want to play?" Yuuji asked as he waited for the box of the game to be opened after it was set onto the table.

She debated with herself.  Yes or no.

Getting the better of her, Shina nodded and decided to play with them.

'Maybe it will help me calm down a bit.'

Done with it, thought I already had most of it typed up and just need to adjust a few things like I've done for the other chapters.
