Touka's POV

I opened my eyes, the white-haired half ghoul is sleeping beside me with his arm wrapped around my waist. I slowly turned my body towards him, carefully not to wake him up. My face is just inches away from him. I looked at him, his white hair covered half of his eyes, which make him quite attractive. I smiled at him as he slowly opened his eyes.

"Good morning~ beautiful....", he said as he planted a kiss on my forehead.

"Morning~ Did I wake you up?", I asked.

"No actually....", he replied with a smile. "And.....you're almost late to school...."

"WHAT! WHAT TIME IS IT?!", I yelled as I jumped out of my bed.

"Well.....it almost 7 o'clock...", he said.

"Damnit Kaneki!", I frowned at him as I quickly grabbed my school uniform and barged into the bathroom. I came out soon and he still lying on my bed, looking at me.

"Kaneki! Don't just lied there, help me!", I yelled at him.

"All done.", he said as he pointed at the bag at the floor. I quickly grabbed my bag and leave my room, leaving him alone.

"Bye! Touka-chan!", he yelled as I closed my door. I ran downstairs, exited the staff room. I noticed Nishiki have a grin across his face.

"Don't talk anything! Four eyes.", I gave him a death glare and I exited Anteiku.

Kaneki's POV

"I just left alone by my girlfriend.... *sigh*.", I mumbled and smiled a little. I got up from her bed, walked around her bedroom. Her bookshelf is filled with reference book, her desk is also packed with book. I took some time, clearing her desk. Then I noticed her literature textbook is on her desk.

"Aren't she has literature class today?", I mumbled. "Oh shit...." I exited her room, ran into the cafe.

"Did anyone see Touka-chan?", I asked.

"Oh she already left few minutes ago.", Irimi said. "Why?"

"She forgot her textbook.", I said.

"Ooooooo.....Kaneki....", Nishiki teased me.

"Senpai!", I protested as I ran back to my room, changed into some casual outfits, grabbed the book and leave the cafe. I ran as fast as I could, avoid crashing into people on the street. I took a shortcut which leaded me to her high school. I come out from the alley, looking left and right. I noticed the purple-haired ghoul is walking with her friend across the street.

"TOUKA-CHAN!", I yelled across the street. She looked at me in confusion, I showed her the book as I walked towards her.

"You forget your book....", I said as I'm grasping for air.

"Oh....Thank you Kaneki.", she took the book from me.

"Ohhhhh......Touka-chan......", her friend started to squeal.

"Yoriko....!", she said as her face started to blush.

"You're blushing, Touka-chan! Hey you! If you make her sad, I won't forgive you.", she said as she pointed at me.

"I won't....", I said.

"Kaneki...!", she yelled.

"You're almost late. Go.", I said as I planted a kiss on her cheek. I quickly walked away after that.

"Oi! BAKANEKI!", she yelled at him as I walked away.

"Bye!", I said as I gave her a smile.

Touka's POV

"Oh god why he do this in front of Yoriko.....God I hate him....", I said in my mind. I looked at her, she so excited as she's almost passed out. I glared at her as I entered the school.

"Hey Touka-chan, forgot to ask you, what's his name?", she said.

"No.....!", I said.

"Come on...."

"*sigh*...Fine, Kaneki Ken.", I said.

"Ooooooo......let me think about the shipping name.", she said.

"Huh....? Shipping name? Are you serious?", I frowned at her.

"Emm....Ahhh! Touken! Yes, Touken. I'll ship Touken for life!", she said.

"Yoriko!"

Kaneki's POV

I walked back to the cafe. I noticed someone is following me by my back. I walked into the alley way, I saw two people standing right there, blocking my way.

"Guess we have something to eat.", one of them said and the other one injected me with something and I started losing consciousness.

"Ghouls....huh?", I mumbled as I passed out.

I soon regained my consciousness. I looked around me, it's already night. I tried to move my hand and I noticed my hands are tied behind a pole. I looked around me, it looked like I'm at a abandoned factory, then I looked at the man sitting in front of me.

"Oh you're awake.....I have to say, you're weird, you smell like a human but also ghoul.", the man said.

"Why don't just eat me then?", I said as I carefully test if I can brought out my kagune or not. "Yes...it can.", I said in my mind.

"Be patient, we just wait for all the people to come.", the man said. After a while, a dozen ghouls stood around me.

"Well....let's start eating~",  one of them said. I quickly activated my kakugan and brought out my kagune, free myself from the bound. I jumped a few feet away from them. All of them also brought out their kagune, stared at me.

"Hmmm....I guess I'm the one should eat you all, you messed with the wrong person.", I coldly said as I cracked my finger.

Touka's POV

"Goodbye, Yoriko!", I said as I leave the library.

"Goodbye, Touka-chan, spend some time with your boyfriend!", she said.

"Hey Yoriko!", I yelled as I gave a smile to her as she leave.

"Why I have an uneasy feeling...", I said in my mind as I walked back to Anteiku.

"I'm back.", I said as I entered the cafe. "Hmm...where's Kaneki?"

"I'm just going to ask you the same thing.", Nishiki said. "Because of him, I have to work today!"

"Wait....he never come back?!", I asked, worried about him.

"Yes....", the manager said.

"I'm going to find him...", I immediately put down my bag and ran out. I ran on the empty street, looked anywhere else. There's no sign of him. I soon reached the alley way, where I last saw him. I smell blood, his blood is around that area.

I soon ran aimlessly, I ran at the edge of the city until I heard someone screamed at the distance. I thought it just some random ghoul eating but the scream kinda sounds like Kaneki. I jumped from building to building, aim towards the source of the scream. I soon arrived at the roof of a abandoned factory. I looked down, I saw a figure moved so fast that I couldn't saw it. I then noticed there are a dozen dead bodies down there.

"Ghoul bodies.....?", I questioned myself. I jumped down, the figure stopped moving. His back is against me, he has two centipede like kagune stretched out of his back, he turned towards me. He's Kaneki, although his face is covered by a beak-like mask.

"Oh she looks delicious....", he said like a mindless person. "Should I eat her...?"

"Hey what are you doing?", I'm confused by his words and said. After I finished my words, he charged at me with great speed. I noticed something wrong and used my ukaku kagune to get me out of danger.

"What happen to him?", I said as I dodging his attack. As I dodging, one of his kagune hit my arm, caused me to fell onto the ground.

"Ahhh!!!", I groaned as I hit the ground. He slowly walked towards me, stretched out his kagune with a grin across his face.

"KANEKI!", I yelled.

He stopped immediately, grabbed his head and screamed.

"AHHHHH!!!! Should I eat her or not!!! AHHHHH!!! Touka-chan, run! I can't control myself!", he yelled as his kagune went berserk, smashing everything in sight.

"Hopefully this will work, or else I'll be dead.", I mumbled as I stood up and ran towards him.

"What you're doing?! RUN AWAY!", he yelled.

I dodged all of his kagune, went in front of him and gave him a hug. He just froze right there as I continued to hug him.

"Kaneki....stop doing that okay?", I whispered at his firm chest. His kagune vanished and his mask crumbled into pieces, revealed his face.

"Bakaneki....", I said as I gave him a smile. He embraced me in his arms.

"I'm sorry, I don't know what happen to me. All of this happen after I start to eat them.", he said as he stared at the ground.

"It's already late, let's go home, Kaneki.", I said.

"Okay....", he said as he picked me up in bridal style and walked back to the cafe.
