Twenty Eight
I inquired Hana about the location of the changing room, but her puzzled expression caught me off guard. I decided to ask again, "Hana, can you please tell me where the changing room is?"
"Umm..I am sorry but, there's no changing room here." She confessed.
"Oh? Then, where am I supposed to change?" I raised my eyebrows.
"You can change in this room. I will wait outside and ensure that no one's entering the room, while you are changing." She boasted.
"S..sure, I guess." I shook my head as I agreed.
"그래. So, now I will go out and you can change." (Okay)
"감사합니다!" I soothed.(Thank you!)
As she slipped out of the room, I found myself standing alone amidst a collection of uniforms. In my hands, I held one of them tightly, contemplating the audacious plan forming in my mind. Swiftly, I shed my own clothes and donned the uniform, feeling a newfound sense of security wash over me. With this disguise, I would blend seamlessly into the crowd, evading any suspicion that may arise. Yet, as I adjusted the uniform, a lingering curiosity consumed me. What were the others up to at this very moment?
Nam Seon Ho.
Moon Yeha, the girl who holds my heart captive, is someone I would willingly sacrifice everything for. My love for her runs so deep, it's almost unfathomable. She possesses a purity that is rare to find in this world. The way she adores her parents is evident in the depths of her eyes, which reflect a myriad of emotions - from frustration to sadness and everything in between. And here I am, faithfully standing by her side, offering my unwavering support and assistance.
However, there is one obstacle that I must contend with - Jesper. I cannot comprehend why Yeha continues to maintain a friendship with him. Could it be because of Jamie? I despise Jesper, or perhaps I don't? The mere thought of Jesper leaves me feeling utterly perplexed and conflicted.
I swore under my breath.
"Okay," I inhaled a deep breath. "Let's search on the 1st floor." I muttered to myself.
Here I was, assisting her in a clandestine operation, standing on the first floor of the prestigious Verdura company. It was a covert mission, as we had managed to sneak in unnoticed. As I tried to recollect any information Yeha's parents might have shared with me about the headquarters, specifically the location of their main office or where they kept their important files, I couldn't help but feel a sense of responsibility. After all, I have been Yeha's childhood friend long before Jesper entered the picture. Our bond dates back to our days in 3rd grade, and as our friendship blossomed, so did my feelings for her. However, I can't help but question if I truly deserve Yeha's love, just as Jesper does not. I have fond memories of visiting Yeha's house during our primary school years, and her parents always welcomed me with open arms. Perhaps that fueled my hopes of a future with Yeha.
We would construct homes out of legos. We would engage in imaginative play with Yeha's dollhouse and dolls. We would have friendly competitions with my toy cars. We would enjoy games of Hide and Seek. We would scale up the trees. We would gather around to eat meals together, even sharing them. We would participate in bicycle races, with her riding a lilac colored bicycle and me on a midnight blue one, cruising through the streets of Seoul at the age of 11.
Today, I have fallen for her. So deeply that, now there's no turning back.
As I glanced around, a cluster of men made their way into the building. It was evident that they were tailing a particular individual. Clad in matching black attire from head to toe, except for the man they were shadowing, who sported a black shirt paired and pants with a grey coat and, along with black shoes. A hunch told me he held a significant position. Perhaps he possessed knowledge about the CEO's primary office. It seemed logical to trail him closely.
So, I followed him.
As, I followed him, I reached to the second floor where Yeha was standing. To my suprise, actually I am pretty sure that even Yeha was surprised because the man was moving towards Yeha. Are we in trouble? Hopefully not. I was again shocked when I saw that the man was talking pretty nicely to Yeha but, the thing that infuriated me was that that man was staring at Yeha, not in a pleasing way. Definitely not.
Some women took Yeha with her in a room. What's going on? Is she okay? Or should I wait? I decided to wait. The women, who took Yeha into the room was definitely in her 30's, she has short blond hair. She was elegant and not to mention but fat, she was wearing a orange skirt. She seemed nice but then, some wise person said "Don't judge a book by it's cover." I kind of apply that here. I cannot trust anyone when it's comes to Yeha.
Oh my goodness! Look who's making an appearance! But alas, it's not the fabulous Yeha, it's that cheeseball (Hana). Seriously, where in the world is Yeha hiding? Hold on a second, that cheeseball is lingering outside. Could it be that she's actually waiting for Yeha? Perhaps Yeha is about to make her grand entrance. Well, I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Ah, finally! Yeha emerges from the depths of wherever she was hiding. Phew, what a relief! I let out a sigh of relief, like a deflating balloon.
Yeha
I think that I can know a lot more about this company from Hana. She seems friendly. Maybe, she can also tell me about where my dad's cabin is located? Also, I want to know about that man. Who was he?
I walked outside of the room and saw Hana.
"Hey!" I waved, "I am done!" I smiled.
"Great!" She smiled back.
"So, what position are you holding in this company?" She asked.
What? No...! I didn't think of that! What should I say now?
"Ah..I am a 'Management Quality Trainee in Agriculture Fields',"
She looked confused. Obviously she will! I don't even know, that If this is a position or not! I genuinely don't!
"Oh-okay." She replied.
I have to ask her, I have to!
"Where's the Ceo's cabin?" I jabbered.
She changed her gaze towards me.
"Why do you want to know?" She
interrogated.
"I just want to meet 사장." I asked. (CEO)
"Umm. Why though?"
"I want to introduce myself to him." I answered quickly and this literally should be given the 'worst excuse award.'
"Sure, I guess."
"His cabin is situated at the top most floor the 9th floor." She informed.
"Oh? Really?" My eyes lit up!
"예!" (Yes)
Joy filled my heart as I finally located the cabin. Although I hadn't reached it yet, the mere knowledge of its whereabouts brought a sense of relief. Giving a farewell wave to Hana, I made my way towards the stairs, only to realize that I should take the elevator instead. All seemed well, until I...
Banged onto someone.
