CHAPTER NINETEEN
IT HAPPENED ALL TOO quick for Camaria's liking. The large ballroom area turned into a dimly lit subway station. She landed roughly on the train tracks, her legs not taking her weight properly causing her to fall over.
She was able to get back on her feet though. The noises of yelling and then hushing came from ahead of her. The demigod was timid and the emotions from earlier slowly swept away. The only thing she could think about was Newt.
How this reddish-brown hair was unruly as ever in the mornings. How he'd enjoy cuddles when he'd read to her. How his blueish-green eyes dazzled when he talk about his creatures. All the small things about Newt made Camaria's heart beat rapidly.
She loved him.
She couldn't believe how long it took her to realize that, but she loved Newt. With every fiber in her body, she knew she loved him. It's silly given the fact that all her memories of him were just barely given back, but it was true.
She loved him.
She listened to her heart and began to run. Her legs lead her to the end of the subway. Camaria found Percival Graves trying to talk to the same dark like cloud thing she encountered in Newt's case. She saw Newt trying to calm down the black cloud thing as well. It was as if he was trying to tame one of his creatures.
She loves him.
Camaria zoned out all the noise and slowly took a step in front of everyone else. She knew that something bad was going to happen. The feeling tingled over her skin with every step she took. But the same voice spoke in her head.
I love you.
"Camaria come back here!" Newt pleaded.
I love you. The words she wanted to say.
How her named rolled off his lips made her smile softly. She turned back to him and sent him a smile. "It's okay." She saw Tina coming up from behind Newt and looked between them, feeling her heart hurt slightly.
I love you.
Camaria turned back to the black like cloud and smiled small. "I know you won't hurt me."
"Camaria!"
"-I can help you. My friends and I. My father and grandfather as well, they'd help you. Credence isn't it? Well I believe there is a world beyond this, a world you can live in as long as you calm down. I know it's scary, I've been as scared as you before. But I know there is some sort of good inside of you. I know something bad has happened to you, I can just sense it somehow, but you can get passed this. My friends, family and I, we can help you. We'll take you in, help you control this darkness. But only if you allow us to do so. And if you calm down. You can do that right, Credence?"
The dark cloud stopped moving for a moment. Camaria smiled lightly, knowing that she got to him and ignored all the noise that was coming from behind her. She knew he needed this more than she does.
The demigod slowly stepped closer to the dark cloud thing and extended her hand towards it. The screams of Newt began to fade away as she saw flashes of bright colors zoom past her.
Camaria turned around quickly and tried to shield Credence away from the blasts of colors. She looked over at Newt and smiled sadly, trying to tell him that she'll be fine. That she loves him.
But instead she saw a large flash of green coming towards her. The bright green light hit her straight in the chest and she immediately fell backwards. The darkness began to envolpe her as the pain started to wither away.
I love you.

Zeus watched from Olympus and felt a pang at his heart. Loud claps of thunder erupted in the sky as he watched Camaria die. His favorite granddaughter, left the world with the blink of an eye.
He heard Apollo and Artemis scream and cry, feeling as if something left their hearts. Zeus looked over at his children with a soft sigh. The voices in his head hurt, telling him what he should do or not.
But there was one voice that stood out from the rest of them. Make Camaria proud. He knew she wouldn't want people to be mourning over her death.
Zeus transported himself into New York, the exact subway her zapped Camaria into. He watched how Newt cradled Camaria dead body in his arms, tears falling against her skin.
Zeus felt a lump in his throat as he watched the scene play out. This was his fault and he knew it. If he didn't mess with his granddaughter's memories none of this would happen. She'd still be alive, next to Newt with a large smile on her lips.
Zeus looked up at the sky and took out a single vile of blue liquid. He took off the cork and them created a lightening bolt in his other hand. He poured the blue liquid over the lightening bolt and began to chant some Greek words.
He looked up at the sky and then threw the lightening bolt up into the sky. Loud claps of thunder rained down on the city of New York and the world.
Zeus went over to at frazzled looking Newt and took ahold of Camaria's body. He pressed his fingers against the wizards forehead and began to take away his memories of Camaria.
The lightening bolt and vile he sent into the sky, made sure that no one remembered Camaria. Zeus knew that she wouldn't want people to mourn over her death, but live on.
Zeus then zapped himself and Camaria into Olympus, to which he was greeted by Apollo and Artemis. They held onto the demigod's dead body, praying that she'd come back to life and that this was some sick joke.
But Zeus ended up pressing his fingers against their foreheads as well, taking away their memories of the demigod. He quickly scooped up Camaria's body and left the room.
