Getting Settled

After a short time, we go down the long road that comes to my home. She looks up at the massive place as her mouth drops open.

"This place is beautiful. Is this your home?"

Smiling at her being a little overwhelmed, "Yes, it is, and yours for now. Come, let's get inside so you can get comfortable."

When we arrive, servants come out to meet us, taking the horses when we dismount. I help her down, having to push the urge to pull her into my arms, marking her right here and now back down hard. I smile as she slides off her horse; she feels so good in my arms.

As her body steps away while looking around the place with wide eyes, "This place is very nice up close. I saw it in our travels, but we were far away" as her eyes sweep the massive castle that stands before her.

Smiling, I offer her my arm. "Come, let me show you around." We travel the entire length of the castle as she is shown the ballroom, dining room, throne room then all the different halls that go to tons of chambers scattered around the place. After showing her room after room, I finally come to the last two that I hope she will be interested in for her stay.

Opening the door to one that is done in all pink, we walk inside. "This could be yours if you wanted it, or I have another one," pointing towards the door then crooking my finger to the right for the next room down the hall.

We walk out of that one, then into the next one just a few doors down from mine. "I like this blue one. I will take this one if it is fine with you." She walks around the king-sized bed with a canopy over it all decorated in blue with gold trim. The walls are done in blue color with gold accents all around the room, along the furniture is either white, blue, or gold-colored to match.

Taking her arm one last time, "There is one more left I want to show you, my chambers." We walk out of her room, going down to my grand King's chambers. Mine is done in red with gold trim all over the entire room. My bed has sheer curtains tied back to the gold posts that tower up to a huge red canopy over my bed.

She looks around the room with a slight smile on her face. "This is very nice. I like this one."

Trying to keep my voice calm so she is not aware of my intentions right now, "Whoever I decide to marry will share this with me. I do not do the separate chambers as some Kings do; my wife will be in here with me at all times." I side glance at her, thinking of the day when she will be in here with me, naked and all mine. Pushing those thoughts to the back of my mind quickly as my cock wants to wake up at the idea of doing filthy things to her in here.

She answers in a small voice, "Maybe you will find her at the ball you are having?"

Smiling because I know that I already have. "I might. It would be nice to find the one that I may have a future with, a lady that could be my queen helping me rule the lands. She would be cherished, loved, and have all this at their command." I sweep my arm around the place where servants move about along with villagers, nobles, and all kinds of guards. I see a tiny sparkle in her eyes just for a second before it vanishes quickly.

I touch her arm, making her look at me as we turn to go to her chambers. "If you need me, I will be in my chambers."

Walking down the hall behind her while she is heading back towards her chambers, "Supper will be in two hours. Would you mind joining us for a wonderful meal? Tomorrow the games start, then the ball is in three days from now. Do you need a ball gown?"

She stops walking, looking back at me while furrowing her brow. "I didn't think about that. I guess I do need one."

I stride up next to her with a smile to offer her my arm. "Let me show you. My seamstress will be pleased to make you a gown. Come, let me show you where she is so you can pick out your cloth."

She looks at me, then down at my arm. Sighing, she takes it slowly, wrapping her hand around it properly. I guide her to the room, opening the door. Clair looks up at me with a smile.

Looking at all the women hustling around the huge room, I then look back at my seamstress. "We need a dress for Lady Kenna for the ball. She has just moved onto our lands but does not have one for court."

Clair claps her hands in delight. "Of course, sire. Leave her here so I can get her measurements. Will she be here for a while?" She winks at me as I try to hide my smile; she knows that I only bring 'special women' to have dresses made by her for them.

"That is up to her. She will be here through the games then the ball, so she may need a few," trying to hide my slightly blushing cheeks right now.

"Let me talk to her; then I will have some made immediately" as she drags her over to the pedestal where we all stand to get our measurements done in here.

Nodding at her, "Thank you. Kenna, do I need to wait on you, or can you find your way back?"

She answers in a small voice, "I think I can; if not, I am sure someone can direct me to the proper way." I smile at the ladies then leave them to work.

Clair speaks to her as she pulls out her tape. "You are a lucky lady. He never brings a woman to me unless he is interested in her."

She scoffs in a low tone, "I am only here for this stupid gathering, then I will be leaving to go home. I will not find anyone here who will interest me."

Clair rares back, looking at her in shock. "Are you blind? Bash has been very kind to you; I think he is interested."

Kenna snorts, "The King? Ha, yeah, right."

"Open your eyes, woman. He is usually harsh with people, but he has a kind, gentle look in his eyes with you. Be mindful while seeing how he acts with you. If he wants you, he gets what he wants. He is the King, so if needed, he can claim anyone he wants as his queen; this life would be very kind to you, plus he would love you unconditionally. You would be first in everything, his life as his wife, queen, and mother to his heirs. He would be kind plus gentle with you; it is what he needs in his life."

She holds up her hand quickly. "Sorry to put the brakes on this matchmaking, but I am not ready for that. I am barely of age to marry, plus I just came here because my dad made me."

Clair smiles warmly at her. "Take my words to heart, honey. Think about it while opening your eyes." She finishes up with the measurements then opens the door. I am there leaning against the wall waiting on her.

Smiling as they exit the room, "All finished?"

Clair bows with her answer, "Yes, she will have a dress in about an hour or so, then her ballgown will be ready tomorrow."

"Thank you as always, a job well done," pushing off the wall stepping towards them.

"Thank you, your Highness," then she disappears back inside the room.

Offering her my arm, "Come, let me help you back to your room. The halls here can be a maze." She eyes me, but I smile at her as she retakes my arm; we slowly walk down the hall heading back to her room. "The servants have brought your belongings into your room, plus a carriage is on its way to get your trunks."

Kenna stops for a second to stare at me. "As I told her, I am not planning to be here that long. I am staying for this ball or gathering, then heading back home. I don't know why my dad is so pushy about this?"

Looking at her with amusement in my eyes, "These gatherings are huge. You have never been to one, have you?"

She drops her head. "No, I have not. I have always stayed on my family's land during huge meetings like that. I am not much of a large crowd person."

Starting to walk again slowly so she can get her bearings. "Hopefully, that will change. After a few days of being here around all these people, you will feel more comfortable around crowds."

My mind goes on after my mouth has stopped talking - And as my queen, you will have to learn to be in crowds all the time. You will never leave this castle or my side. If I could mark you right now, I would, but the transformation will have to be after we are wed having mated for the first time. I can not wait until that day, so we will be married within two weeks from today if everything goes as planned. I will make sure of it. - We arrive at her room, so I push the doors open as I walk her inside. Her bags are on the bed; she removes her arm from mine, making my wolf whine at the missed contact.

Nodding towards the items sitting on her bed, "May I help you get settled in?" I wish she was doing this in my chambers and not this one.

"Thank you, but I am fine. When my trunks get here, we will just put them here in front of the bed for the time being."

Until they are moved into our chambers, my wolf tells me, "Of course. I will come and get you for dinner here shortly. You may explore the castle if you like."

Shrugging her shoulder, "I may. Is there a library?"

I chuckle while leaning against the wall crossing my arms and legs. I have my right shoulder against the wall as I look at her with amusement in my eyes. "Yes, there is. Would you like for me to show you?"

Her voice comes out a little hoarse, "If you don't mind."

Shoving off the wall, "Sure, it is not far from here" I offer her my arm again, making her sigh as she takes it. I lead her down the hall then around the corner. We stop in front of two huge wooden doors where I shove them open. We walk into the huge library. She stops as her mouth drops open, letting go of my arm as she looks at the winding staircases that go up to four floors and books by the thousands all over the place neatly tucked into their homes on the shelves.

"My mother had this built about fifteen years ago. The original one was too small, plus she loved books. She wanted a huge library, so my dad had this built for her the way she wanted it. I use to get lost in here as a child. They would have to send guards to find me; I would fall asleep on one of the floors in a chair."

"This is impressive" as her fingers run over the spines of a few books near her.

Turning around to go get some work done real quick, I look over my shoulder at her. "Enjoy yourself in here. I will return in an hour to take you to dinner."

She turns to me, grabbing my arm. "Thank you for your kindness. I may have overreacted not being the nicest person to you."

Chuckling lowly in my chest, "It's fine. You were removed from your comfortable life, moved here not wanting to be here. Hopefully, you will change your mind now?" I see her blush as she turns around, walking deep into the library. I walk out, shutting the doors behind me.
