It had been a week since you had last seen your robot boyfriend. He had been very busy trying to make his way to stardom up on the surface.

So far, it was going pretty well. He started making YouTube videos and now had around seven thousand subscribers.

You woke up this morning, extremely tired. You wondered why, until you checked the clock on the nightstand beside your bed. It was only four o'clock in the morning!

You slammed your face into your pillow and groaned. "Why cant I sleeeeeeeep!" You whisper yelled to yourself.

You knew you wouldn't be able to fall back asleep, so you got up and made your bed.

You had moved out of the crowded hotel room with everyone else and were now sleeping in the room beside it. Mettaton was supposed to be there too, but was only there when you weren't. Why? Because he only got home at five o'clock in the morning to charge, then went back to work.

You realized that it was four, so that would mean Mettaton would be home in an hour. Maybe you'd get to see him after that long week!

You changed from your pajamas to some more decent clothes; a long pink sweater and some tights. You brushed your hair (if you don't have any, don't mind this) into a pony tail, but decided to leave out your bangs.

You then brushed your teeth and made breakfast. You made a few small, cute, little pancakes and set them down at the table. You were about to eat when you heard the door nob jiggled.

You looked up at the door as it opened. It was Mettaton.

"(Y/n), darling!" Mettaton exclaimed as he ran to you. He hugged you tightly.

You hugged him back and smiled. "Mettaton!"

He let go of you after what felt like ten minutes. "Oh, how I've missed you, my darling!" He said.

You giggled. "It's only been a week, Roboboy!"

"Oh and how I've missed that nickname!"

Your face turned a bit pink at that. You just smiled awkwardly. I didn't realize how much I missed his over dramaticness! You thought.

"Well, darling, I must get charging, sadly! My battery is about to die!" He said, posing dramatically.

"Alright, Mettaton, I'll see you later" You said, faking a smile. You really wanted to keep talking to him and being with him.

He laid down on his bed and took out his charger. "Also, dear, would you like to come to work with me tomorrow?" He asked you.

Now that you thought about it, you didn't exactly know where he worked. You knew he made YouTube videos, but you wondered where.

"Where exactly is work?" You asked.

"Alphys's new lab, of course! She's got a glamorous setup for me there!" He answered. "Is that a yes?"

You nodded. "Sounds fun!" You smiled as he plugged himself in and immediately powered down.

You looked at him, sleeping peacefully. He was so cute when he slept. You smiled intensely as you looked at him, then went back to eating breakfast.
