Len's POV

I heard the door open and looked towards the door. Two guards entered, forcing me to my feet and dragging me out. I guessed where they were taking me. It was time for me to die.

Every step they took caused pain from the whipping and I whimpered. Their grip was turning my arms purple and my arms would probably bruise. As we walked through the castle up to where I would be executed, I saw stable master Gakupo, just watching me with a evil smile on his face. I greatly wanted to shrink back and hide from him.

As we passed I knew he followed behind us, I could practically feel him behind me, could almost feel hot metal on my back or a whip cutting through my skin.

I was brought outside and looked down to hide my eyes from the sun. I was brought onto the scaffolding and I heard someone list my "crimes."

I ignored them and allowed my eyes to adjust to the light, when it adjusted I looked around. I saw Miku crying in the gathered crowd, I saw stable master Gakupo looking pleased and Madam IA Rose trying to comfort Miku. Towards the front of the crowd, I saw... Rin?

But, she wasn't crying.

She was looking at me, her expression full of... It was hard to explain, but it confused me. The list came to an end and a noose was fitted around my neck, my breath hitched as I started to realize: this is the end, I would no longer be able to talk to Miku or see Rin, I'd no longer be alive. I'd be dead and gone.

The scaffolding was kicked out from under me, the rope immediately cutting off my breath and I started to try to pry at the rope almost immediately. I heard a trumpet and I heard something whiz through the air and fell to the ground, pulling the noose over my head and tossing it to the ground even as the clash of swords and hoof beats filled the air.

Miku and Rin ran to me and Miku pulled me inside, Rin following us as we ran to the linen closet and shut the door.

"Are you okay?" Miku asked before throwing her arms around me.

"Yeah, I guess I'm fine, but Rin, what are you-"

I was cut off by Rin practically throwing herself at me and also placing her arms around me, enveloping me in a hug. "I missed you so much Baka,"

"I missed you too," I said leaning my head against hers as hers fit with her chin resting on my shoulder.

Stable Master Gakupo's POV

I quickly drew my sword as sounds of battle filled the air. I kept a sword hidden on my figure at all times and could fight quite well. I cut down two soldiers before I realized Kagamine wasn't there. I saw a few pairs of footprints I'm the dirt leading into the castle and followed them inside, the dirt was wet from a recent rain and therefore Kagamine and whoever was with him left Muddy footprints which I followed.

The footprints led me to a linen closet and I tried the handle which was locked. I hadn't known you could lock these closets.

I knocked on the door harshly. "Let me in Kagamine! I know you're in here!"

I received no answer, but heard quiet whispering before a female voice said, "no!"

I would get in whether they open the door or not. I brought my sword blade down on the door handle, the door handle breaking allowing me access to the room but as the door opened I felt a sharp pain in my back and fell to the ground. My vision started to darken and I felt myself die.

Akaito's POV

I saw a man with a purple pony tail easily cut down a few of our guards before retreating to the castle. I looked at my Imouto-san, Angela, who had seen him too. We nodded at each other before dismounting our mares and following him. We saw him knock on a door and shout something before bringing his sword down on the handle.

"That's it, whatever he's doing isn't good. Imma kill him!" Angela shouted, running at him and shoving her sword into his back. He immediately fell to the ground and I rushed forward. "Angela-Chan!"

In the closet I saw Princess Miku, Princess Rin and... Prince Allen?

"Who are you?" Allen asked while Rin hugged me and Angela. "Thank you!" She exclaimed, before whispering only for me and Angela to hear, "he doesn't know we are royalty yet, please don't tell him,"

We nodded and Angela and I decided we would Protecc the Prince and Princesses til the battle ended.
