It was super early and I put on my favorite playlist as I drive to my first day at work. Eee! I hope I get some good co-workers. What if I meet my soulmate- that'd be a great story to read. Imagine, a guy approaches you and he's supposed to show you around the place, then you develop feelings for each other, then you start dating. Then, someone's ex comes by and steals your gaze from him-

Honk!

Oh my god, the light was green. I wince and say a sorry in my mind hoping that somehow it reaches the person's mind and everyone else behind me telepathically.

I enter the office. My boss shows me to a girl who is supposed to show me around the place (so no chance of soulmates at the moment). The break room had a massage chair! I did get some stares from some of the ladies during the tour though, but I shook it off. I'm pretty sure not everyone in this place is that judgemental, I think I still have a chance of making at least a friend.

Speaking of friends, remember my old friend Maria from High school? Once we left for college we ended up just becoming distant and we ended up just hanging with the friends we made at our own colleges.

"Hi, I'm Reina!" A red head girl says next to me in the lab. "Hi! I'm Kyra," I reply.
"So, your the new person right?"
"Yep,"
"I'm glad to see a new face around here, going in and seeing the same people is boring. Also, don't be intimidated by Rachel and Diana's stares. They like to judge assume rather than go up and ask. They're pretty nice and motherly when you really meet them though,"
"Ah, it makes sense now." I laugh
"Woah, who's that guy?" She nods her head in the direction behind me.
I look behind and there's a guy who's talking to our boss.
Oh my god. It's that guy I saw after dinner.
"Reina, I don't know if I'm right but I'm 98% percent sure that I saw that guy a few days ago after eating dinner with my parents. I saw him when I was walking out and he was eating at the Dim Sum restaurant next to the Ramen place I was eating. When I saw him I was like, 'woah he's kinda hot' you know as one does while seeing an attractive person. But yeah, I think that's him." I blurt out.

"I like you new coworker! Everything is so interesting now that you're here. And hey, you should just ask him if he was the one you saw. Don't wait like those girls do on rom-coms it frustrates me."

"You're right."
