Rayne, Scott, Kira, and Stiles walk out of the elevator toward him to get an update. They all stop in their tracks and stare in horror at the line of orderlies continuing to wheel the bodies found in the sewers into the morgue.

"Who found 'em?" Stiles asks
"Argent. And he said the Doctors were down there. He also said you guys might know what this thing is." Noah says
"We've got a theory..." Rayne says.

"It's a slightly terrifying theory..." Stiles corrects
"Well, the M.E. said that the victims were killed somewhere else and then dumped in those tunnels." Noah says
"Hey, what if the Dread Doctors are hiding the bodies?" Scott suggests.

"Why would they do that?" Kira asks
"Maybe they're covering for it. Protecting it, like a parent would." Stiles says
"Protecting what?" Their father asks.

"A werewolf." Scott says
"It's called the Beast." Rayne says
"We know. Horrifying." Stiles nods along after seeing his father's expression.

"We better figure out what we're gonna call Parrish... Because it looks like his dream is coming true."

Rayne, Scott and Stiles are walking down the hallway and take note of all the Sheriff's deputies milling around with huge shotguns while they listen to an announcement over the P.A. system

"By order of the Sheriff, a county-wide curfew goes into effect tonight at sundown. All after-school activities are canceled until further notice. Students should go directly home at the end of the school day." The announcer says.

The trio sees one of Sheriff's men, Deputy Strauss, holding one of the large shotguns, they walk over to him to talk to him about it
"You don't think this is a bit much in terms of firepower for a high school?" Stiles says.

"Your dad's the one that issued us these things... and he wouldn't officially say why." Strauss says
"Did he say anything unofficially?" Rayne asks
"No... But everyone's got a theory." Strauss tells them.

"What's yours?" Scott asks
"I shouldn't be talking to you guys. Don't you have class?" He asks
"Come on, Strauss! What's your theory?" Stiles asks.

"Do you guys believe in the supernatural?" He says and they all look at him in shock and then at each other.

Rayne and Scott walk through the tunnels as they watch Liam
"You lost?" Liam turns to see Scott and Rayne.
"Completely." He sighs and then thinks for a moment
"How did you know I was down here?" He asks.

"We followed you." Scott says
"Why are you following me?" Liam asks
"Why are you down here?" Rayne asks.

"I'm just trying to figure out if this is where they took us. Me and Hayden. Malia said she was down here, too-- that the scent was the same. She said you were right." He says
"Uh, there's a turn you keep passing. It's easy to miss." Scott says
"How many times did you watch me pass it?" Liam asks.

"Five." Scott winces and Liam sighs
"Come on. Let's see if we can find it together." Scott suggests
"Do you want to skip and link arms while we sing 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz?'" Rayne asks and they both shake their heads.

They start their journey and what feels like forever has passed Scott speaks up
"Do you feel that?" He asks
"Like something's vibrating." Liam says.

"I can't tell where it's coming from." Liam then puts his hand on the ground
"It's coming from everywhere." He says. Scott and Rayne try to find where it's coming from when Liam speaks.

"I was just trying to do something right..." Liam says
"You do a lot right." Scott says
"Yeah, but I did one thing really wrong." He says.

"Hayden's alive. Everything before that doesn't matter." Scott says
"It should."
"I feel like I have to do more than just say sorry." Liam says.

"Actually, you still haven't done that..." Scott says chuckling
"Back at my old school, at Devenford... I got into a fight with this kid. I knocked two of his teeth out. They made me write a letter of apology. We both knew it meant nothing. We both knew that, sooner or later, we were gonna get into another fight." Liam says.

"I can't just say I'm sorry. I feel like I have to do something. Like... maybe, somehow, I have to save your life." He says
"Don't worry-- I'm pretty sure you'll get a chance." Rayne buts into the conversation.

"Well, not down here. We've been walking around for hours, and all we've been able to find is some stupid snake sculpture on the wall." Liam says. Scott and Rayne turn to see the snake sculpture in question, the dusty ouroboros symbol on the wall.

"You think it's important?" Scott runs his fingers across the round symbol as Liam walks up behind him to get a closer look as well. They are both surprised when Scott turns the snake with both hands like a large doorknob, which causes a mechanical grinding noise to be heard as a hidden door reveals itself several feet down the tunnel. The two share a confused and intrigued look before they walk down toward it, with Scott sliding the door open.

"Cool." Rayne says. However, they freeze in shock when they walk inside to find Argent aiming a gun at them, expecting them to be the Dread Doctors. They four of them gasp in shock before Argent sighs and lowers his weapon, putting it back in its holster. Scott and Liam both sigh in relief as they make their way further into the room, but when Scott catches a familiar scent in the air, his eyes narrow as he looks at Argent.

"You didn't." Scott says.

"Hello, Scott." Gerard makes his way out the shadows and Scott and Rayne flash their red eyes at him
"I haven't seen that color on you." He says to Scott
"It suits you." He says and then he turns to Rayne.

"And you, Acalia. It's so nice to see you remember. And you've became just like your father." He says
"I'm nothing like him." Rayne says
"Oh you are your father's daughter." He says.

"Who's the old guy?" Liam asks

"Uh, at the moment... they would call me a 'necessary evil.' But you can call me Gerard." Gerard chuckles
"What were you thinking?" Scott asks Argent
"That we need him." He says.

"We need him as much as we need global warming in Antarctica." Rayne says
"Chris is right. If you want to catch a werewolf like the Beast of Gévaudan, you're going to need more than one Argent." Gerard says
"He knows all the stories. All the folklore. Everything written, and everything passed down." Argent says.

"And you're sure about this?" Scott asks
"Take a look." Argent says and leads the four of them into the next room, where the fresco behind the broken wall. They all stare at the painting, with Scott and Liam looking shocked at the sight of it while they try to figure out what it means.

"The one on the right is the Beast of Gévaudan. Do you know what the other one is?" He asks them and they stay silent
"The Hellhound. The guardian of supernatural places. They're both creatures of the night, but you may know them as ordinary people during the day." Gerard says.

"And, most likely, neither of them know what they are." He says
"What is it?" Argent says
"We found a message in Latin..." Scott says.

"Damnatio memoriae." Rayne says
"They want it to remember itself." Gerard says
"That might give us time." Argent says.

"Time for what?" Liam says.

"To prevent this." Argent walks toward the fresco and presses his palms against the painting to brace himself as he kicks at the tile wall still covering the bottom of the painting with his boots. The tiles break and crumble onto the floor as Argent continues to kick it until the rest of the fresco is finally exposed, revealing that the Beast and the Hellhound are fighting over a huge pile of bodies. Scott and Rayne looks horrified as he walks toward the painting to get a closer look, but Liam just looks confused.

"Who are they?" Liam asks them both
"Us. It's all of us." Scott says
"Dead." Rayne says.

Rayne walks through the tunnels more and more to clear her head. She then stumbles across what they were trying to find in the first place. The dread doctor's lair.

"I'm surprised you were able to find this place." Rayne looks up to see her father
"Deucalion." She says
"How fuck are you here?" Rayne asks.

"Oh you know. Acalia. We have much to discuss." He says.

Theo walks into the lair to see Rayne standing there
"How fuck did you find this place?" Theo asks
"Power of determination and good tracking skills sure helps." She says.

"What are you doing here?" He asks
"I'm pissed off at you." She says
"Tell me something I don't know." He says.

"But I need your help with The Beast." She says
"Does Scott know this?" Theo asks
"No." Rayne says.

"Why me?" He asks
"Because someone's helping them and I hate them. It's either you or them. I choose you." She says
"Well, you fit the criteria." He says and she scoffs.

"Criteria?" She says
"Yep. You have to be able to fight and you have to be able to listen to what I say." He says
"I don't even listen to Scott. What makes you think I'll listen to you?" Rayne asks.

Theo smirks before reaching his hand up her neck and cupping her face while trailing his thumb across her bottom lip.
"Trust me. You will." He says and they both look at each other before kissing her.

Rayne immediately kisses back and tugs on his jacket. He puts his hands down her thighs and she jumps wrapping her legs around his waist. He pushes them to a wall and takes off her jacket.

They pull apart and Rayne pants, she smiles at him and then kisses him again.

Rayne walks to Theo and wraps her arms around him to see him holding jar of talons they both then look stunned by the sight in front of them.

Corey, who is curled up on the floor with his head between his knees. Next to him is Josh, who is kneeling on the floor, cradling his injured arm and covered in blood. Tracy is standing in the doorway between the front room and the operating theater proper, where she is pressing her hands to a bleeding wound on her stomach.

They then see Deucalion, who is hooked up to the same wolfsbane IV drip. Theo rolls his eyes in amusement at the scene in front of him as he sets the jar on the table
"All this to take down one blind werewolf..." He says

"Recently re-blinded. Unfortunately, the healing of my eyes by a Dark Druid proved only temporary. A parting gift from my time with Scott McCall." Deucalion says
"Friend of yours?" He asks.

"We're working through some issues." Theo says
"He knows why he's here. He knows about the Beast." Tracy says
"Hmmm. The Beast of Gévaudan-- history's most vicious, most famous werewolf." Deucalion says.

"And you think I'm going to show you how to steal its power?" Deucalion asks
"I think you're open to negotiation. All you have to do is tell me what you want." Theo says
"I want his eyes... on the tips of my claws. I want the eyes of Scott McCall." Deucalion says, Theo then smirks.

"Why is she here?" Tracy asks glaring at Rayne
"Tracy, Tracy, Tracy." Rayne says
"Isn't it obvious?" She asks and Tracy raises her eyebrow.

"We had sex, you dumb bitch."
