"Isaac you don't have to worry." Rayne says
"Well I am worrying. You aren't at the first day of school." Isaac says over the phone
"Melissa got me a note about how I have a pass from the first day due to stress. Besides I'll be in there later." She says.

"How later is later?" He asks
"Later." She says and hangs up.

"I can't believe you don't start for another week." Rayne turns to Brett
"Well you can always join. You'll look hot in the uniform."
"My family is already in crippling debt. I'm pretty sure me going to a prep school will just make it worse." She says.

"So, what is Rayne Stilinski wearing on the first day of Senior Year?" Brett wonders
"Something different. Something that screams new me." She says
"You know 'New Year, New Me' is at New Years, right?" He asks.

"I know." She says and walks into the bathroom.

"Has anyone heard from Rayne?" Kira asks
"No, but knowing her she's probably with Brett." Lydia says
"What is going on with them?" Malia asks.

"Last time I heard it was a 'just friends' type of situation." Lydia responds
"Oh my god." Kira says and Lydia and Malia turn to see Rayne walking down the hall
"She finally wore the boots I got for her." Lydia says.

"Hi, do you know where Stiles and Scott are?" Rayne asks hugging them all
"In the locker room I think." Kira says
"Okay, thanks. Love you all." She says and walks to the locker room.

"Who knew." Lydia says
"What?" Kira asks
"Who knew her and Brett have a 'friends with benefits' situation going on." She says.

"You got all of that just by speaking to her?"

"Where the hell is Rayne?" Stiles asks Isaac
"She said she was coming in later," he says, "and yes I asked her how late was later she didn't reply." He says.

"So we have wait until your sister gets here?" Theo asks
"Yes. Problem?" Stiles asks and Theo holds his hands up in surrender
"Where is she?" Stiles asks.

"I am right here." Rayne says and he looks at her
"What are you wearing? Is that?"
"His jacket? Yes. Sorry I'm late, couldn't find the keys to the bike. It really does help having a dead boyfriend. Gotta keep all of his stuff." She says.

"Right. What are we doing here?"
"Theo was about to tell us how he got bit."
"Probably by an Alpha's teeth. Do we really need to hear a story?" She asks.

"Actually yes we do but from you. Where were you this morning?" Stiles asks and she groans
"With Brett." She says
"Is he your boyfriend now?"

"No. We are just friends." Rayne says
"With benefits." Isaac coughs
"When did this happen?" Stiles asks.

"It first started when I had a threesome with him and Isaac." They all freeze and turn to her
"Slow down. It was only once. The night we nearly blew up and we were saving water. Also that's why dad couldn't look at you for a couple of days... I said it was you and Malia." She smiles.

"Oh wow." Stiles says in disbelief and they then turn to Isaac.

"Don't drag me into this. It just happened."

"Yep. I'm calling this year my 'Whore Era'." Rayne smiles and then turns to Theo.

"Right. Tell the damn story." Rayne says.

"Okay. I was skating in a neighbor's empty pool, trying to do a handplant. Nobody was home. I'm not that good of a skateboarder, but I guess I was feeling pretty determined, because I completely lost track of time. I didn't even realize that it was night until the yard lights came on. Like I said, I wasn't very good. On my last try, I went down and hit hard-- really hard. I was sitting there at the bottom of the pool, and I realized something... I never heard the board come back down. It came at me fast. I barely had a chance to turn around before it bit me, right here."

"It wasn't an accident-- he wanted to turn you." Scott says
"Right. So, why aren't you part of his pack, then? Why didn't he come back for you?" Stiles asks
"Because by the time of my first full moon, he was dead." Theo says.

"How did you know that?" Rayne asks
"I met another one of his pack a couple weeks later. He told me the Alpha that bit me was killed by two of his own Betas. They were twins." He says
"Ethan and Aiden." Isaac mumbles and Rayne nods.

"Scott, listen to my pulse-- I'm telling the truth." He says
"Right, or you just know how to steady your heart rate while you're lying your ass off." Stiles says
"Why would I lie?" He asks.

"Because maybe, you're not who you say you are." He says.

"Okay. In the fourth grade, you had an inhaler. I had one, too. I remember this day where I ended up in the nurse's office with an asthma attack-- a bad one. I was waiting to be taken to the ER. You were waiting for the principal. You told me what would happen when you go to the ER for asthma. How they give you oxygen, an IV of prednisone. You made it sound easy, like everything would be okay. I've been by myself this whole time. Everybody knows that lone wolves, they don't make it on their own. I swear, I'm that same kid from fourth grade. I was hoping you are, too." Theo tells him and the bell rings.

"I better not be late for class-- you're not the only ones I need to make a good impression on." He says and walks out the locker room
"No! Don't give me that look." Stiles says
"We have to give people the benefit of the doubt sometimes." Scott says.

"Not this time, all right? I'm right! There's something off about him, I can feel it." Stiles says
"Lydia's the psychic, not you." Isaac says
"She's not psychic-- she's a Banshee, okay? There's a difference." Stiles says and then he turns to Rayne.

"You coming?" He asks
"I'll be a moment. I got my own locker here, it was Coach's Senior Year gift to me." She says and he nods
"See you later." He says.

Rayne then walks to the locker with a little metal plaque with her name on it. All the lockers had it in the locker room, she walked over to the locker and looked at the name.

Aiden Steiner.

She then matched the edges and pushed down on the metal and removed her thumb from it to see it.

The pack sits in the library when Stiles walks in and puts something on the table
"So, you found something?" Scott asks
"Another signature. This is Theo's dad's signature on a speeding ticket from eight years ago, and this is his dad's signature on a transfer form to Beacon Hills High School from just a few days ago." Stiles says.

"How did you get his transfer form?" Kira asks
"You didn't break into the administration office..." Rayne says
"No, I did not break into the administration office." He says and Rayne looks at him.

"Okay, I might have broken into the administration office. Can we just focus on the signatures, please? They're different." He says
"They're sort-of different..." Malia says
"They're completely different! Come on, look. The garlands don't match, the undulations of the sinuous stroke are totally off... And look! Look at this-- perfect example of the criminal tremor." Stiles says.

"So, now Theo is Theo, but his parents aren't his parents?" Kira asks
"Someone's not someone. And when I figure out who that someone really is, someone's in big trouble." Stiles says
"But no one's done anything wrong..." Scott says
"Yet. If Theo's parents are both psychotic killers, we should not trust him, right?"

"My parents are Peter and the Desert Wolf..." Malia says
"My biological dad goes by The Demon Wolf." Rayne says
"Okay. It's fine. You know what? I'll figure it out myself. Right? I don't need you, or you, or you. I don't need anyone." Stiles says.

"I'll go with him." Rayne says and rushes after him.

"Stiles! Wait!" Rayne says
"What?" He asks
"I'm coming." She says.

"Why?" He asks
"Because... you're my brother." She says
"And my feet hurt in these heels and I was wondering if I could drive your jeep." She says.

"No. Absolutely not are you driving my jeep." He shakes his head
"Fine. But can I come?" She asks and he nods
"Come on. You can pick your bike up later." He says and they get in the jeep.

"What's a 'criminal tremor?'" Liam asks and Stiles snatches the papers away from him
"It doesn't matter." He says and drives out the parking lot.

"I told you he was up to something!" Stiles says while they watch Theo walk into the forest
"We just spent three hours watching this dude play video games in his bedroom. He better be out here covering up a mass murder." Liam says
"Let's find out. You still got his scent?" Stiles asks him.

"Don't need it." Rayne says pointing to the footprints, they begin to walk when Liam stops
"What? What's wrong?" Stiles asks
"I forgot... I was supposed to meet Mason at the school gym." Liam says.

"Okay, why didn't you just tell him?" Rayne asks
"Tell him what?" Liam asks
"Anything." Stiles says.

"I can't just tell him anything..." Liam says
"Why not?" Stiles asks
"Because I haven't told him everything..." He says.

"Still? We said it was okay." Stiles says
"Yeah, I know, but it's not that easy! It's a lot to accept." Liam argues
"He watched our dad blow up a Berserker with a landmine. I think the groundwork's been pretty thoroughly laid for acceptance." Stiles says.

"Scott, Rayne and I have been through this, okay? More than once. It's always been better when they know." Stiles says
"But what if he freaks out? What if he doesn't want to talk to me? What if he tries to stab me with something silver? Or, what if-" Liam then stops talking and Rayne and Stiles walk to a hole where he fell.

"What the hell are you doing?" Stiles asks and Liam stumbles over his words
"There he is. Hurry up! Stop screwing around." Stiles says and Liam gets out of the hole
"Come on, try and get his scent." Stiles says.

"I really should have wore better shoes. Lydia is going to kill me." Rayne says.

"Get anything?" He asks ignoring his sister
"Soap. It's nice, it smells good."
"Yeah, he smells amazing." Rayne says.

"Not his soap-- his emotional state! Chemosignals, remember?" Stiles says
"Oh, yeah! Okay. I..." Liam says
"How can you use your abilities?" Stiles asks his sister
"Angry or turned on Stiles. Angry or turned on." Rayne says.

That wasn't entirely true. Brett was helping her with her abilities.

But he didn't need to know that.

"He's sad." Liam says
"He's sad?" Stiles asks
"Well, not just sad. It's more like... grief." Rayne says.

"Grief? Oh, my God! Go! We have to go." Stiles rushes
"What? Why?" Liam asks
"He's right! Go! Right now. Just go!" Rayne says and they rush out of there.

"That's the bridge where they found his sister." Stiles says
"What sister?" Liam asks
"The one that got lost and died from exposure. He's leaving a flower for her." Rayne says.

"That doesn't sound evil..." Liam says
"I know." Stiles says and they stop when they see Theo in a tree
"How the fuck did he get there?" Rayne asks and he jumps down.

"What are you guys doing?" He asks and Liam growls
"Whoa! Why do I get the feeling this kid's tougher than he looks?" Theo asks
"Only when we let him off his leash." Stiles says.

"Stiles, we were in Little League together. Why are you so suspicious of me?" Theo asks
"Because of these. One's a speeding ticket signed by your dad eight years ago. The other one's a signature on a transfer form to Beacon High. They're different." Stiles says
"Huh. Yeah, they do look a little different..." Theo says.

"No, they're totally different-- signed by two different people." Stiles says
"So, my dad's not my dad? Like, he's an imposter?" Theo asks
"Yeah, something like that." Rayne says.

"Who do you think I am?" He asks stepping closer to her
"We don't know yet." She says
"Want me to give you a DNA sample or something?" Theo asks stepping closer again.

"No. I don't have anything from fourth grade to match it to." Stiles interjects as he looks at his sister and Theo who are quite close to one another.

"You know, Stiles, I came back here for Scott... But I also came back for you. Someone like you. Someone who's willing to walk into the woods in the middle of the night to protect his friends. I don't have anyone like that, but Scott does. You all do. I know I'm in the right place. I'm meant to be here. I'm meant to be part of this pack." Theo says.

The three of them walk back from the forest to see Scott
"Find anything?" He asks
"Nope." Rayne and Stiles say.

"I fell in a hole..." Liam smiles sheepishly.

"It was the bridge where his sister died, wasn't it?" Scott asks
"Yes, it was. Very embarrassing. So, we're gonna leave now." Stiles asks but the jeep doesn't start
"Son of a..." Stiles gets out the jeep along with Rayne.

"Liam, just do me a favor? Get in the car and turn the ignition when I say." Stiles says
"Stiles?" Scott says
"Be with you in a sec." He says fixing something
"Try it." He says but nothing happens.

"Stiles..." Scott says
"Yes. Okay? We followed him out here. What do you want me to say? That I'm a stalker? Huh? That I'm crazy? Totally paranoid? None of this is new information!" Stiles says
"Now you're gonna try to at least give him the benefit of the doubt?" Scott asks.

"I give people benefit of the doubt! I've given a lot of benefit to a lot of people." He says
"Like Derek? ...Kira? ...Liam?"
"I was right about Peter." Stiles says
"And Jackson and Matt." Rayne says.

"Try it again." Stiles says but the same thing happens
"You know, I bet you still think there's something about him that can we saved." He says
"Maybe." Scott says.

"Try it again!" Stiles shouts
"Why can't you trust anyone?" Scott asks
"Because you trust everyone!" Stiles shouts and then punches the jeep and yells in pain.

"Are you okay?" Rayne asks
"I'm fine." Stiles says
"You could've broken it-" Scott says
"It's not broken." Stiles dismisses.

"Let me see it." Scott says
"I'm fine." Stiles says
"Let me see it." Scott says and Stiles holds out his hand and takes away the pain.

"I need to get my bike." Rayne sighs.

Rayne walks to her motorbike when she hears Liam and Mason shout
"Shit. What now?" She rushes into the school and sees a wolf
"That's a wolf." Rayne says.

"We have already established that it's a wolf." Liam says and then Rayne helps Mason up the steps when Liam roars and the wolf runs off.
"So there's Liam needs to tell you." Rayne says.

"You're a werewolf." Mason says.
"Right. I'll let you both talk. I'll go." She says and walks off.

Rayne sat on Stiles' bed as Stiles wrote Theo's name on the board
"Usually, we wait until they do something wrong before we declare them guilty." Their father says
"Well, he's guilty of something." Stiles says.

"Accusations require proof, and proof always trumps instinct-- it has to." He says
"I know, Dad." Stiles says
"Let it go, Stiles. Get some sleep." Noah says.

"Hey, Dad?" Stiles says
"Mmm-hmm?" Their dad comes back and rests his hand on the door
"I got it. There's something different. I know what it is." He says.

"Okay..." Noah says
"You're not wearing your wedding ring anymore." Stiles says and they all go silent
"You're sure this kid's guilty?" Noah asks.

"Absolutely." Stiles says
"Then all you gotta do is wait--if they're really guilty, eventually, they make a mistake. They always make a mistake." He says.
