"Did they forget my curly fries?" Rayne's dad asks his son as all three of them sit in his car.

"You're not supposed to eat fries, especially the curly ones." Stiles says
"Well, I'm carrying a lethal weapon and if I want the curly fries, I will have the curly fries."

"If you think getting rid of contractions in all your sentences makes your arguments anymore legitimate, you are wrong."

"Can you please pass me the bag with my stuff and my iced coffee?" Rayne asks from the back seat wearing her brother's lacrosse hoodie and leggings and her dad passes her the bag and looks inside.

"Why do you get curly fries?"
"Because he's scared of me and I do Just Dance to keep fit, thank you very much." She says and he passes her the coffee.

"Unit One, do you copy?" The dispatcher says through the police radio and Stiles goes to reach it when his dad quickly slaps his hand away and clears his throat,
"Sorry." Stiles says.

"Unit One, copy." Their dad say into the radio
"Got a report of a possible 187." The twins look at their father with wide eyes
"A murder?" They say and turn to one another and Rayne laughs seeing his mouth filled with curly fries.

The Sheriff parks the car and looks at his children
"Stay here." And gets out the car while Rayne turns her head to see
"Lydia?" Her eyes widen as she sees her best friend sitting in an ambulance and she quickly gets out the car.

"I thought dad said to stay in the car?" He asks his twin
"I'm going to see Lydia and try not to punch Jackass over there." She says and then rushes to her friend.

"Are you okay, Lyds?" She asks hugging her and she turns to see her dad looking at her
"I'm happy that you're here." Lydia says in a shaky voice and then right when Sheriff Stilinski was about to speak.

"Oh, whoa, is that a dead body?" They hear a voice and Rayne turns to see her brother and then puts her head in her hand
"Jesus." She mutters and then looks at Lydia and tries calming her down.

"Just a friendly reminder, parent/teacher conferences are tonight. Students below a 'C' average are required to attend. I won't namer you because of the shame and self-disgust should be more than enough punishment." Mr Harris says to the class.

He then turns to a spot where Scott usually sits
"Has anyone seen Scott McCall?" He asks and Stiles looks up with a highlighter cap in his mouth and then the door opens to reveal Jackson.

"Hey, Jackson. If you need to leave early for any reason, let me know." Mr Harris says once Jackson takes a seat and then he walks to the front of the class
"Everyone, start reading chapter 9. Mr Stilinski, try putting the highlighter down between paragraphs. It's Chemistry not a colouring book."

Rayne turns to her brother, giving him a fist bump while she has a proud smile on her face and then turns back and Danny hands her a highlighter and she smiles.

"Hey, Danny, can I ask you a question?" Stiles asks
"No." Danny says
"Well, I'm going to anyway. Um, did Lydia show up in your homeroom today?"
"No." Danny sighs and gets back to his work.

"Can I ask you another question?" Stiles asks
"Answer's still no." Danny says
"Does anyone know what happened to her and Jackson last night?"
"He wouldn't tell me." Danny says with a little sadness in his voice and Rayne puts her hand on his shoulder.

"But he's your best friend." Stiles says and Rayne looks at him silently telling him to leave Danny alone.

Stiles leans forward again
"One more question."
"What?"
"Do you find me attractive?" And Danny looks at Rayne confused and Rayne looks at Stiles confused.

Stiles then falls off his chair and Rayne hides her face in Danny's shoulder trying not to laugh.

The bell rings and Stiles and Rayne walk out of class and Stiles tries to phone Scott
"Finally! Have you been getting any of my texts?" Stiles says and Scott says something which Rayne can't hear because of the noise.

"Do you have any idea what's going on? Lydia is totally M-I-A, Jackson looks like he's got a time bomb inserted into his face, another random guy's dead and you have to do something about it." He says and Rayne cancels out the conversation and texts someone on her phone.

"Okay, I'm going to Lydia's after school." Rayne says
"Can I come?" Stiles asks
"Well, I do need a ride." She smiles.

"Honey, Rayne is here to see you and there's a Stiles here to see you as well." Natalie says opening her daughter's door
"What the hell is a 'Stiles'?" She asks and Natalie turns to them
"She took a little something to ease her nerves. You can go in." She says and leaves.

"Ray! You're here!" Lydia says excitedly and then she turns to Stiles
"What are you doing here?" She asks
"I was just making sure you were okay." He says and she nods and then turns to him again.

"Why?" She asks and pats down a space on her bed and Stiles sits there,
"Because I was worried about you today. How are you feeling?" He asks
"I feel fantastic." She says and Stiles chuckles nervously.

He then sees the medication Lydia had taken and picks it up and looks at it
"I bet you can't say, 'I saw Suzy sittin' in a shoeshine shop' 10 times fast." And Lydia looks at him.

"I saw Shuzy... I shaw..." She trails off and Stiles puts the medication down
"I saw..." She says spacing out
"What, Lydia? What did you see?" He asks.

"Something." She says
"Something like... like a mountain lion?" He asks
"A mountain lion." She says.

"Are you sure you saw a mountain lion, or are you just saying that because that's what the police told you?" He asks
"A mountain lion." She repeats and Stiles gets a toy giraffe that Rayne got Lydia
"What's this?" He asks and she looks at it.

"A mountain lion."

"Okay." He says and he puts it back
"You are so drunk.'' He says and Lydia rests her head on his leg and he gasps
"Have fun." Rayne says to her brother and he jumps forgetting she's there and she salutes him and walks out the door.

"Okay, which outfit?" Rayne asks Danny looking at two dresses
"The white one is cute but the red one is hot." Danny says who is on facetime with her
"I'm back!" Rayne hears her brother call into the house,
"I will call you back, love you!" She says and hangs up and runs into her brothers room.

"How was Lydia after I left?" She asks sitting on his desk with the dresses in her hands
"Good, yep." He says
"Which dress?" She asks holding them up and he takes them from her and looks at them

"The white one is cute." He says and she nods and walks out to her room and then walks back to her brother's room and sits back down on to his desk.

"Hey, it's me again. Look, I found something and I don't know what to do, okay? So if you could turn on your phone on right now, that'd be great or else I'll kill you. Do you understand me? I'm gonna kill you and I'm too upset to come up with a witty description about how exactly I'm gonna kill you, but I'm just gonna do it, okay. I'm gonna...ugh! Goodbye."

"I think he got the message." Rayne says to her brother and he brother nods and she kicks him his chair and he slumps on it.

Stiles jumps as someone knocks on his door and the twins turn to see their father,
"Please tell me I'm gonna hear good news at this parent/teacher thing tonight."
"Depends on how you define 'good news'." The twins says to their dad.

"I define it as you guys getting straight A's with no behaviour issues."
"You might want to rethink that definition." Stiles says and Rayne nods
"Yep, I can't get something I'm not." She smiles innocently
"Enough said." Their dad says and walks away.

"Come on, Scott. Where the hell are you?" Stiles asks and Rayne kisses her brother on the cheek
"I'm going to facetime Danny. Shout if you need anything." She says and he nods.

Rayne carefully climbs out her window with Danny at the bottom
"You are going to catch me right?" She asks
"I'll do my best." He smiles and she sarcastically smiles back.

She then climbs down and relaxes when she feels hands at her waist and then climbs all the way down and turns to Danny,
"Thanks." She says and they both quietly walk to his car, driving her to her almost girlfriend's house.
