Lydia and Stiles walk the street of a town in Mexico
"This doesn't seem so bad..." Stiles says
"It's not the town, it's the plan." Lydia says.

"What's wrong with the plan?" He asks
"Stiles, this could be the stupidest plan we've ever come up with. You're aware of that, right?" She says
"I'm aware it's not our best..."

"We are going to die." She says
"Are you saying that as a Banshee, or you're just being pessimistic?" Stiles asks
"I'm saying it as a person who doesn't wanna die."

"Okay... Would you mind restricting any talk of death to actual Banshee predictions?" He suggest
"This plan is stupid and we're going to die." She says
"Oh. Thank you." Stiles says sarcastically
"Mmm." She hums.

They walk to a club and two bodyguards stand in front of the door
"¿Estamos aquí para la fiesta?" Lydia says and one of them shakes their head and Stiles takes out a card with a skull on it and the guard looks up at the camera. Stiles shows the card to it and door clicks and opens.

They walk down the hallway and open the door to see people dancing, they walk to the bar where they get given two shots, Stiles looks around for cash when a man holds their shoulders.

"No. On the house. Most American teenagers don't cross the border to refuse a drink." He says
"We didn't come here to drink." Lydia says and drops a bullet into the alcohol.

"Severo hates this music. Me? I've always loved the music of youth. This especially-- it has a savage energy." The woman says undoing stitches with a knife
"We're here for Derek Hale." Lydia says
"Is that so?" She asks.

"We know you have him. We've heard you can be bought." Lydia says
"That's fifty thousand for Derek." Stiles says taking out the bag
"Now, where does a teenage boy get money like this?" She asks.

"Japanese mafia?" She asks and the guns cock
"Not smart to come alone." She says
"What makes you think we came alone?" He asks.

"You brought a wolf into my house?" She asks
"We brought an Alpha." He says
"Let me rephrase that, sorry. We brought Alphas." He says.

Rayne's outfit

Malia and Rayne dance together when Kira comes up to them
"Something's happening..." She says
"I know." Rayne says.

"What do we do?" Kira asks
"Blend in!" Malia says and Kira looks at her confused
"Dance with us, dumbass!" She says.

"Oh..." Kira says and she starts to awkwardly dance but then becomes more comfortable as they dance, suddenly they see people walking towards them
"Ready?" Malia asks and they both nod and begin to take down them and Scott joins as well and they walk down a hall trying to find Stiles and Lydia or even Derek.

Suddenly smoke starts to appear everywhere and Rayne, Malia and Scott start to cough
"Wolfsbane. It's wolfsbane!" He coughs
"Kira, get out of here!" Scott shouts and someone attacks Kira.

"Someone who has been an Alpha only a few months should be more careful when facing a Hunter of forty years." Arya says to him.
"All we want is Derek." He says.

"Ay, lobito. You're a long way from home."
"You don't know where he is either." Scott says and Arya's face drops and she electrocutes him making fall to the ground.

Flashback to the Animal Clinic

"Okay, how long has it been?" Stiles asks
"Weeks. He hasn't gotten back to any of my texts." Scott says
"Has Derek ever returned your texts?" Rayne asks.

"Once... Definitely once..." Scott says
"But this time, it felt different. So, I went to the loft. The alarm was on. Everything looked okay. But then, I found these." He says opening the metal jar and Stiles takes a bullet out.

"So, I sent a picture of it to Deaton. He said that it's the mark of a family of Hunters based out of Mexico-- the Calaveras." He says
"What would they want with Derek?" Lydia asks
"You don't think they killed him, do you?" Stiles says.

"I... I don't know. That's why you're here." Scott says to the banshee and pushes the bullets towards her and she grabs them in her hand, drops them on the floor and spaces out
"Lydia, what? Is he dead?" Stiles asks.

"No... But I'm not sure he's alive, either." She says
"What does that mean?" Rayne asks
"I don't know... There's something not right. I just... I don't know." She says.

"So, if the Calaveras have him, how do we find them?" Stiles asks
"Mexico." Scott says
"I'll go pack." Rayne says.

"Ow, ow, ow." Rayne says opening her eyes
"Rayne?" Malia asks
"Hi." She groans and she sits up.

"What is it with hunters and smoke?" She says and Malia and Stiles help her up then they wait for Scott to wake up
"He's awake! Guys, he's awake!" Kira says
"Scott, you okay?" Stiles asks.

"Yeah..." He says sitting up
"They don't have him. They don't have Derek." He says
"We know... But right now, they've got Lydia." Kira says.

"Lydia? What do they want with Lydia?"

Scott tries to find a way to open the door when Kira stops him
"We already looked for a way out. I think a lot of people have." She says
"I say, when that door opens again, we take out whoever's standing in the way and run for it." Malia says.

"What about Lydia?" Kira asks
"What about her?" Malia asks
"We're not leaving without her." Rayne says.

"Why not?" Malia asks
"Because we don't leave without people. Remember, we talked about this? Rules of the wild kingdom don't apply to friends." Stiles says and she nods.
"Is that what you would do as a coyote? Leave her for dead?" Kira asks.

"If she was weak and injured, yeah. If hunting had been bad that season, I would eat her. Then I'd leave." Malia says
"Mmm... Believe it or not, that's progress." Stiles says
"You're doing great." Rayne smiles.

"All right, guys. We're not dead yet, and that means Araya wants something." Scott says
"But, if the Calaveras don't know where Derek is, that means they didn't take him from the loft, right?" Kira asks
"Maybe he left on his own?" Rayne says.

"Maybe someone else got to him..." Scott says and then the door opens to reveal the hunters when they electrocute Scott again.

Stiles, Rayne and Malia are still in the same room together,
"Do you hear them? Can you hear Scott?" Stiles asks pacing about
"Can you hear Kira? Lydia? Anybody?" He asks them both.

"What are they saying?" He asks his sister
"I can't hear anything, in case you forgot, I never got taught anything of this." She says and he turns to his girlfriend
"I... I can't. I can't concentrate. I... There's too many sounds... and voices..." Malia says.

"Okay. It's okay. Well, just breathe. Breathe with me, all right? You practiced this with Scott before, remember?" He says
"I'm trying..." She says
"It's okay. It's okay. Just focus on something." He says.

"Here, look at my eyes." Stiles says
"Very good. Just focus on the sound of my voice. All you have to do is try to concentrate. Concentrate." He says and Malia kisses him, Rayne grimaces and closes her eyes, her mind wandered off to Aiden.

He always tried to help her with this sort of thing,
"Close your eyes. Just focus on my voice, zone out, I'm gonna stop talking and you'll hear the faintest of sounds." She hears Aiden's in her head.

Rayne opens her eyes and hears Scott shout
"I hear it." She says
"They're killing him!" Malia says and Rayne nods and closes her eyes and focuses trying to hear more, but she only hears a name.

"Kate." Scott says.

"That's impossible. It's impossible! That can't be what he said." Stiles says
"Why? Who-who's Kate?" Malia asks
"She's a Hunter... An Argent." Stiles says

"And a total bitch." Rayne says.

"So... You're just letting us go?" Scott asks
"I sent four men out to where Kate was rumored to have been seen. None of them came back. Let's see if you can do better." Arya says
"You could have just told me she was alive..." He says.

"You wouldn't have believed me." She says
"Now I know what kind of Alpha you are... And where your next step lies." She says
"What next step?" Scott asks.

"When you take the bite of an innocent-- when you make a wolf of your own? When you do that, then I will cross your border and come knocking at your door." She says
"Thank for the torturing of our friends, it was appreciated." Rayne smiles
"The same rules apply for you, Acalia. And don't go making Alpha packs. We all know how that goes." She says and walks away.

Scott and Rayne then walk to the others
"So, what now?" Stiles asks
"She think she knows where we can find Derek." He says.

"She's gonna tell us where?" He asks
"Uh, actually, she's giving us a guide." Scott says and a motorbike appears to reveal Braeden
"You know her?" Stiles asks.

"Braeden." Scott says
"Who's Braeden?" Kira asks
"She's a mercenary." Rayne says.

"Right now, I'm the only one who's gonna take you to La Iglesia." Braeden says
"The Church?" Lydia asks
"What's 'The Church?'" Stiles asks.

"It's not a place you'll find God."

The pack sat in the jeep following Braeden when Malia breaks the silence
"Okay, I'll ask... Who's Kate Argent?" She asks
"Uh, I'd like to know, too..." Kira says quietly sitting on Rayne's lap.

"Well, we were at her funeral, so I'd like to know how she got out of a casket that was buried six feet underground." Stiles says and Rayne nods
"She was never in it." Scott says
"She was Allison's aunt... and a total sociopath." Lydia says.

"And arsonist." Rayne says.

"You don't have to talk about it now if you don't want to..." Kira says
"Um, yes, he does!" Malia interjects
"Yeah, she's right. You guys should know. You need to know." Scott says.

"All right... Kate was the one who set the fire that killed most of Derek's family." Rayne says
"Some of them survived, like Cora and Peter..." Scott says
"A very angry Peter." Lydia says.

"Yeah, he's the one who bit and turned me-" Scott says
"And the one who finally caught up to Kate and killed her." Lydia says
"Rightfully so might I add." Rayne says.

"And we saw her buried." Stiles says
"No... We saw a casket, remember? She wasn't in it." Scott says.

"The Calaveras heard that Kate had been killed by an Alpha's claws. They wanted to make sure she was really dead. Her body was healing, more and more, as she got closer to the full moon. She was coming back. So, they switched the bodies. If a Hunter is bit, they have to take their own life before they change. The Calaveras... they treat the Code like law. They make it their responsibility to enforce it." Scott says.

"Good for her! I wouldn't do it, either." Malia says
"Would you kill a half-dozen people to get out? Because that's what she did." Scott says
"So, Kate's a Werewolf now?" Kira asks.

"I don't know. You know, there's a saying... 'Sometimes, the shape you take reflects the person you are.'" He says
"Like snake boy. Sorry Lydia." Rayne says once Lydia gives her a look
"What kind of shape is sociopathic bitch?" Lydia asks.

Then suddenly they hit something and Stiles stops the jeep
"What happened?" Braeden asks
"I don't know-- it felt like we hit something." Stiles says.

"Scott, we need to get there by night. It's too dangerous, otherwise." She says
"Go." Stiles says
"Not without you!" Scott objects.

"Dude, someone needs to find Derek. We'll figure something out. We always do." He says
"Just go." Rayne says
"Okay." He says and Kira then runs up to him and they hug.

"Scott, the sun's going down..." Braeden says and they break apart and he gets on the back of the motorcycle
"Stiles...?" Malia says and she reaches under the tire.

"I don't think we hit something-- I think something hit us." She says and picks up a bone.

It was getting dark and Stiles still hadn't fixed the Jeep
"Maybe we should just walk..." Lydia suggests
"Hey, I will never abandon this Jeep! You understand me? Ever." Stiles says.

"Ever. Ever." He says with a screwdriver in his mouth
"Work faster, Stiles... There's something out here with us." Malia says
"Oh of fucking course there is." Rayne says.

It was night and Stiles was still fixing the jeep while Lydia held the light
"Lydia, could you please hold the light still for a second? It's really hard to see anything if you keep shaking it like that..." Stiles says
"I'm shaking it this way because we're in the middle of nowhere with your broken down Jeep, and we're being attacked by yet another razor-clawed monster, and I'm terrified!" She defends.

"Well, just be slightly less terrified... And hold this.." He says handing her something
"What's this?" She asks
"I don't know-- I'm hoping it's not important." He says.

"Anything?" Kira asks
"It's too hard to see. We should've brought another flashlight." Malia says and Kira walks out the headlights and uses her katana to make light and shine it
"Did you see that?" Rayne asks as she looks at the figure. Malia then roars and goes out for it.

"Malia, wait!" Rayne shouts and her and Kira follow her
"Hey, Malia!" Stiles says going after her as well
"Kira, go! You-- fix the Jeep." Lydia says.

Kira and Rayne loose Malia and hear something,
"Malia?" Kira asks and a twig snaps and they turn, then they turn again and Kira goes to attack
"It's me!" Malia shouts.

"Ugh, it's me. It's me." She says
"What happened? What's out there?" Kira asks
"I don't know, but it's big and fast-- And it cuts deep." Malia says and they both see the big cut on Malia's side.

They then hear the jeep start and they run back.

"You.... You, please don't do that ever again!" Stiles says
"Do what?" Malia asks
"I... I thought you just took off. I thought you were running." He says.

"I was running." Malia says
"I thought you were leaving." He says
"I wouldn't leave without you." She says.

"Really?" He asks
"I would never leave without you." She says and turns back to the girls
"...Them, I would leave. Maybe not Rayne." She says.

"Thanks." Rayne says
"Yeah... Uh, it's progress...." Stiles says
"That doesn't look good." Lydia says.

"It's okay." Malia says
"Are you sure? It looks deep." Kira says
"I can feel it healing." She says.

"You didn't see anything?" Lydia asks
"Barely... It had a strong scent, though." Malia says
"Like what?" Rayne asks.

"Like death."

They make it to La Iglesia where they see Scott and Braeden
"Is that him? Is that Derek?" Malia asks
"Uh... Sort of..." Stiles says.

"Holy Hale." Rayne says looking at a 17 year old Derek Hale.
