Earlier that night.

Aiden rushes to Rayne and hugs her
"She's gone." She says almost numbly as he rubs her back and kisses her head
"Allison's gone."

"Stiles and Kira said it was the Nemeton that kept it trapped." Scott says as they walk into the animal clinic
"The problem is, this isn't even a person you're fighting-- it just looks like one. It's a spirit that's taken the shape of a human." Deaton says
"The shape of my brother." Rayne says.

"Someone caught it once. Someone can do it again, right?" Lydia asks
"I don't know... This thing was trapped a long time ago, before the Nemeton was cut down. It doesn't have the same power anymore." Deaton says
"Is there anything that does?" Scott asks.

"Possibly... When the tree was whole, its wood was sometimes used to contain powerful objects. But those objects are very rare." Deaton says
"Wait a second-- powerful objects? Like an Alpha's claws?" Lydia asks
"Which Alpha?" He asks.

"Talia Hale. Peter had them in this wooden box with a triskele carved on the lid. What if it was made from the Nemeton?" Lydia suggests
"It was." Deaton says
"How do you know?" Scott asks.

"Because I made it."

"Derek's got the triskele box. He's gonna meet us." Scott says and then Lydia's eyes closes and she stumbles back
"What's wrong?" Deaton asks
"Something's happening... I had this sudden rushing feeling, like we're running out of time." Lydia says.

"Yeah..." They turn to see Stiles.

"Yeah, I kind of got that feeling, too."

The jeep parks up the to school and Rayne and Lydia help Stiles walk to the doors
"Scott, hold on-" Stiles says
"I know what you're all thinking-- if this works, it might kill me, too. But even if it does, you have to go through with it. Stick with the plan, okay?" He says.

"The plan is to save you-- that's the plan I'm going with." Scott says and he opens the door to see a snowing place, a garden and they walk in and the doors shut.

"Oh, this is definitely not part of the plan..."

They look around the place filled with snow when they hear footsteps and they turn to see the nogitsune
"Like I promised, Stiles... We're going to kill all of them, one by one..." It roars and the Oni appear.

"What the hell is this? Where are we?" Scott asks
"Between life and death." It responds
"Bardo..." Lydia says.

"But, there are no peaceful deities here, Lydia." The nogitsune says
"You're dying, Stiles... And now, everyone you care about is dying, too." It says
"What? What do you mean?" Stiles asks.

"I've captured almost all of the territories on the board, Stiles-- the hospital, the sheriff's station, and now the animal clinic."

"Do you know the ritual of seppuku, Stiles?" The dark spirit asks
"No... And I don't want to..." Stiles says.

"When a samurai disembowels himself with his own sword to maintain his honor. But that's not the cut that kills him-- the killing stroke is made by his kaishakunin, who beheads the samurai with his own katana. Scott... Scott is your kaishakunin. I'm going to make your best friend kill you, Stiles. And you're going to let him... Because, just like you, they're all going to die. Everyone touched by an Oni's blade... Unless Scott kills you, first."

"Why? Why are you doing this?" Stiles asks
"To win the game!" And the oni get ready to fight and so do they.

"How is this happening? How are we in this place?" Scott asks
"You're asking me? A month ago, I'd never even touched a sword!" Kira says and they continue to fight as the dark kitsune watches.

Kira fights the Oni when her sword gets out of her hand and thrown on the ground, Stiles then picks it up and points to his stomach
"Stiles, no!" Scott shouts and Rayne turns her head
"Stiles!" Rayne shouts.

"What if it saves you? What if it saves all of you?" He asks
"What if it's just another trick?" Lydia says
"No more tricks, Lydia." The nogitsune says.

"End it, Scott. Let your friend fall on his own sword. Do for him what he cannot do for himself." It says
"Do it, Scott-- be his kaishakunin. Give up the game. You have no moves left." It says and Stiles looks at the sword.

"I do..." He says and throws it to Kira.

"A divine move."

"Stop fighting them! It's an illusion!" Stiles says
"You have to stop fighting them. It looks real and it feels real, but Scott, you gotta trust me-- it's an illusion." He says and they all walk through the oni, getting slashed by their swords to the door and they are brought back to the Hugh school.

"We're okay. We're..." Scott gets cut off by being thrown to into the lockers and they turn to see Void Stiles and he does the same to Rayne and Kira
"This was my game. You think you can beat me at my game?" He asks.

"Divine move... Divine move? You think you have any moves at all? You can kill the Oni, but me? Me? I'm a thousand years old, you can't kill me!" He shouts walking towards Lydia and Stiles
"But we can change you!" Lydia says.

"What?" He asks
"You forgot about the scroll..." Stiles says
"The Shugendo scroll." Lydia says.

"Change the host." He says
"You can't be a fox and a wolf." Stiles says and Scott grips onto his shoulder and bites his arm and Kira stabs him. He falls to the ground and a fly comes out of his mouth and Isaac captures it and Void's skin starts to crack and falls to the ground turning to dust.

Stiles then falls to the floor and they all crowd him waiting to see if he wakes up and go does
"Oh, God... I fainted, didn't I?" Stiles asks and they nod
"We're alive? We're all alive?" He asks.

"Yeah, we're okay..." Scott says
"AIDEN!" They hear Ethan shout and they all look at Rayne
"No." She whispers and quickly stands up and runs out the school to see Aiden pull an oni sword out of his stomach.

"No." She says and runs down the stairs as Ethan catches him and sits him down and him and Rayne kneel down to him
"Doesn't hurt you as much as it hurts me?" He asks crying
"Yeah..." Ethan says.

"Am I the good guy?" He asks Rayne
"Yes, the best." She says
"I'm sorry we never got to go to a real dance." He says.

"It's okay." She says
"One last goodbye kiss?" He asks and she laughs tearfully and nods
"Sure." She says and they kiss and they lay him down as they heard his heart going slower.

"I love you, R-Rayne Acalia St-St-Stilinski." He stutters over his words and Rayne heard his heart stop
"No!" She says taking her jacket off and putting on the wound
"Put pressure on it." She says and he holds it down as she tries to give him CPR.

"Rayne." Chris says
"No, he has to wake up. I need to tell him I love him." She says trying not to cry
"Please wake up." She says.

Derek puts his hand on her shoulder as she slams on Aiden's chest to get him to wake up. Her eyes glow and a roar erupts from her lips like Kali had done with Ennis when Rayne killed him to become an Alpha.

Her friends watched from the top of the stairs stood in shock, Rayne lost another person she loved to death.

The group walks into Melissa's house, Rayne hadn't said a word after Derek and Chris had to rip her away from Aiden's body. Melissa gave all of them hugs and then she got to Rayne, she saw the look on her face and hugged her.

"He's gone." She says, panic had struck Rayne, all of her feelings she had built up came crashing down, she didn't grieve Erica or Boyd, she kept it in.

"He's gone, she's gone. They're all gone." She sobs in Melissa's arms
"I never got tell him I loved him, I never got to tell her I loved her. I'm never going to see them again." Her knees give out, her sobs and screams of pain fill the house.

"It hurts, it hurts so much." She sobs
"I need them back." She continues to cry in Melissa's arms
"It's okay, it's okay, sweetheart." She soothes.

Rayne cried for ages, eventually she stopped crying when she passed out due to exhaustion.

Whenever she would wake up she would cry.

She slept in Melissa's bed because she couldn't sleep in her own anymore without Aiden.

She felt like she was going to die.

Die of a broken heart.

"You're really leaving?" Rayne asks as Argent and Isaac load the car
"Yeah, I'll miss you." Isaac says and she hugs him tight
"You're still my favourite." She says and he laughs.

"Take care of yourself, Lahey." She says
"You do the same, Stilinski." He says and he gets into the car
"Take care of him, Argent." She says and he nods and waves, gets into the car and drives off.

"Rayne?" She turns her head to see Ethan with a box in his hand
"You as well?" She asks and he nods
"This is Aiden's stuff, it's mostly shirts and hoodies you would have liked to have stole." He says.

"Thank you." She says,
"And here, he would have wanted you to have it." He says handing her the keys to Aiden's motorbike
"Thank you." She says hugging him.

Rayne sat on bed, uploading photos onto her laptop. She scrolls through the photos and a photo of her and Aiden shows up, she looks at it for a moment when her dad knocks on her door.

"You okay?" He asks
"Yeah." She says and closes the laptop
"I'm good."
