"You're back! Welcome, welcome." Rayne says hugging Isaac
"Thank you." He says
"I heard what happened with Jackson. Who's your next on the list?" She asks and he tenses up.

"Derek hasn't told us anything." He says
"Well, I'm gonna go see my brother. Bye." She says and walks away
"We are so dead." He groans and walks away.

"Okay, Stiles gave me the rundown last night also Derek tested Jackson to see if he's the Kanima." Rayne says as they walk to Chemistry
"We know, they're gonna test Lydia." Scott says
"What? Isaac said Derek never told them anything." She says.

"They're gonna kill her." Stiles panics
"Derek's not gonna kill her without proof." Scott says as they walk into the classroom
"All right, so he tests her like he did with Jackson, right? But when and where." Stiles asks.

"I think here and now." Scott says and they look to see Erica and Isaac and they race to sit next to Lydia and Rayne sits down on another table and Erica sits next to her and Isaac sits on another table.

"Einstein once said, 'Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity... And I'm not sure about the universe.' I myself have encountered infinite stupidity. So, to combat the plague of ignorance in my class, you're going to combine efforts through a round of group experiments! Let's see if two heads are indeed better than one. Or, in Stilinski's case, less than one." Harris says.

"Erica, you take the first station. You'll start with--" He stops when he sees all the boys raising their hands
"I didn't ask for volunteers. Put your hormonal hands little hands down."
"You all realise she's my girlfriend, right?" Rayne asks turning to see them as they slowly lower their hands.

"Erica, start with Mr. McCall. Alright, next two." He says.

"You're a little liar." Rayne says as they start the project
"Alpha's orders." He smirks
"Really, wanna repeat that?" She asks and he looks and shakes his head.

"No, ma'am." He says.

"Listen, I know Lydia can be a bitch but so can most of the student body. You're not gonna kill everyone else, right?" She asks and he goes to answer
"Switch!" Harris says.

"I need a minute, my heart needs to start to beat again." Rayne says and then someone sits next to her and they work on the project and Rayne looks at Lydia at all times.

"Time! If you've catalyzed the reaction correctly, you should now be looking at a crystal. Now, for the part of that last experiment I'm sure you'll all enjoy... You can eat it.." Harris says and Lydia goes to eat the crystal with Kanima Venom on it.

"Lydia!" Scott shouts
"What?" She asks
"Nothing." He awkwardly says and then she eats and nothing happens.

"Shit."

"Derek's waiting outside for Lydia." Scott says as they enter a room
"Waiting to kill her?" Allison asks
"If he thinks she's the Kanima, then yes especially after what happened at the pool." He says.

"Your girlfriend is trying to kill your best friend. I thought my love life was complicated." Scott says to Rayne who flips him off.

"It's not her." Stiles says and Scott sighs
"Stiles, she didn't pass the test, man. Nothing happened."
"No, it can't be her." Stiles says.

"I still think it's Jackson, he's very creepy and a jackass." Rayne says.
"It doesn't matter, because Derek thinks it's her. So, either we can convince him that he's wrong, or we've got to figure out a way to protect her." Allison says.

"Well, I really don't think he's gonna do anything here. Not at school."
"What about after school? What if we can prove that Derek's wrong?" Allison questions.

"By three o'clock?" Stiles asks skeptically
"There could be something in the Bestiary." Rayne says
"Oh, you mean the nine-hundred-page book written in archaic Latin that none of us can read? Good luck with that." Stiles sarcastically says.

"Actually, I think I know someone who might be able to translate it..." Allison trails off
"Uh, I can talk to Derek, maybe convince him to give us a chance to prove that it's not her? But, if anything happens, you guys let me handle it, okay?" Scott says.

"What does that mean?" Allison asks."That you can't heal like I do. I just don't want you to get hurt."
"I can protect myself." Allison says taking out a crossbow from her bag
"Can you get me one of those? They would be great for walking alone at night." Rayne says looking at it.

"What? Did something else happen?" Allison asks Scott
"I just don't want you getting hurt. Seriously, if anything goes wrong, you call me, okay? I-I don't care if your dad finds out. Call, text, scream, yell, whatever. I'll hear you and I'll find you as fast as I can. We have until three." He says and then goes to leave and turns around and catches an arrow and they all turn to Stiles
"Ah, sorry. Sensitive trigger on that." He says and Rayne hits him on the head.

"Dumbass."

"If we're doing a study group, why didn't we just stay in the library?" Lydia asks as they walk and Rayne walks up to them
"Because we're meeting up with somebody else..." Stiles tells her
"Hmm. Well, why don't they just meet us in the library?" She asks.

"Oh, that would have been a good idea. Too late."
"Yeah, Stiles can sometimes be an idiot." Rayne says
"Okay, hold on--" Lydia tries to say.

"Lydia, shut up and walk." Jackson cuts off by grabbing her shoulders and making them go faster and they walk to the jeep and get in and Rayne holds Lydia's hand.

"Relax."

"If we're studying at Scott's house, then where's Scott?" Lydia asks
"Meeting us here, I think. I hope." Stiles says and they walk into the house and Stiles locks all the locks and turns to Lydia
"Uh, there's been a few break-ins around the neighbourhood." He says and then puts a chair in front of the door and looks at her again.

"And a murder. Yeah, it was bad."
"Lydia, follow me. I need to talk to you for a minute." Jackson says
"Seriously? What is going on with everyone?" She asks.

"A murder?" Rayne asks.

"So, what's the plan?" Rayne asks as she sips a coffee
"Where the hell did you get that?" Stiles asks
"I made myself a pot of coffee." Rayne says innocently and Allison looks at her phone.

"Oh, geez. What are you doing?" Stiles asks
"I think-I think I have to call my dad." Allison says
"No, but if he finds you here, you and Scott--" Rayne says.

"I know, but what are we supposed to do? They're not here to scare us, okay? They're here to kill Lydia" Allison says

"I got an idea-- just shoot one of 'em." Stiles says
"Are you serious?" Rayne asks
"We told Scott we could protect ourselves, so let's do it! Or at least give it a shot, right?" Stiles convinces.

"Okay." Allison nods
"Look, they don't think we're gonna fight, so if one of them gets hit, I guarantee they'll take off. So, just shoot one of 'em." Stiles says
"Which one?" Allison asks.

"Uh, Derek. Yeah, shoot him. Preferably in the head." Stiles says
"If Scott was able to catch an arrow, Derek definitely can." Rayne shuts down the idea
"Okay, uh, just shoot one of the other three, then." Stiles dismisses.

"You mean, two." Allison says
"No, I mean three." Stiles says and then looks through the window "Where the hell is Isaac?" He asks.
Then Isaac twists Allison's arm and pushes her to the ground and then Stiles.

"Don't make me pour this perfectly good coffee on you." Rayne threatens and he goes for Stiles again and then she runs to get Lydia after getting the pot of coffee and cream.

"Lydia, you're safe, get in the bathroom." She says and they walk into the bathroom and locks the doors
"Hi, I-I need the police..." Lydia says and then the lights go out
"Do you want some coffee?" Rayne asks.

"You brought a pot of coffee?" Lydia asks in disbelief
"I was panicking, don't worry I brought creamer." Rayne defends then they hear sirens and they walk out the bathroom and she puts the coffee on the desk and they run out.

"Would someone please tell me what the hell is going on?" Lydia asks
"It's Jackson." Scott says.

"Told you!" Rayne shouts.
