Unexpected

Sometimes Reality can be Worse than your Expectations

 [Micah's POV]

"Hey there buddy!" The very short, bubbly Asian girl grinned, she was wearing a bright yellow shirt that said smile in one corner and Free Hug in a larger print in front "What's your name?!" she attempted for a hug but all she recieved was my hand connecting with her forehead in a very abrupt manner. She stumble backwards clutching her head.

"Considering how I'm forced to be here by the principal" I started "And you seem to be the leader of this stupid, stupid club, I can only but strongly assume you already know what my name is"

"Hey" a ridicuously fat boy stood up in her defence "That wasn't very nice thing to say!"

"Well you're not very nice to look at Fat Joe"

The boy open his mouth but nothing came out he just stood there, shaking slighty, he looked ridiculous I couldnt help but burst out laughing. Tears began to well up in his eyes. the other members of the club, 5 other boys and 6 girls including the Asian huddled towards him

Fresh Meat.

Maybe this was going to be fun.

[Sean's POV]

Mr. Jane sat down in his chair and brought out some papers "Boys I won't take up much of your time. Too put it quickly and quite briefly, Carter you are failing my class at a speed that is actually quite fascinating, considering you are a straight A student it's even more shocking. 

I nodded wondering why Reece had to be here to listen to all of this.

"So I have decided that young Reece here will be your tutor until the finals. He has already agreed so it's all on you now Carter"

"You really want to tutor me?"

"Yeah, I'll be more than happy to Sean"

"Carter" I smiled gratefully "Please call me Carter" I turned to Mr Jane "Well I'm prepared to do anything to boost my grades up so I'm cool with Reece tutoring me"

"Excellent" Mr Jane Smile. "I hope to see good results Carter; you guys can go to lunch now"

[Micah's POV]

"I look stupid" I said as a matter of fact to the Asian- I mean Kiana.

Her little eyes widen at my comment.

"I made these myself- how do they look stupid?"

Well lets see, bright yellow shirt with free hugs sprawled all over it covered in smiley faces, thumbs up and....puppies.

I continued to look at her and then the shirt maybe I wouldnt have to spell it out for her.

"I don't see it sorry" she walked away from me and into the centre of the group, everyone was laughing and chatting, people would pass the others without a care but they would stop, snigger and point at me.

Fucking Assholes.

My reputation was spiralling down the drain.

"Ok so remember guys" Kiana grinned "Let's make sure we give people the best hug ever! and with what?!"

"A SMILE ON OUR FACE!" The rest of the group cheered

oh man.

Kill me now

"Daryl?"

She caught the attention of a tall boy, who kinda looked a bit like snoop dogg.

"I want you and Johnny-"

Johnny was Fat Joe.

I think I will just refer to him as that 

Although he looks nothing like Fat Joe. 

He actually looks like a hollister model.

Just Fat.

"To tag team with our newest and coolest member Micah!"

"Please don't patronise me, short person"

I glared at Kiana but she just batted her large eyes with a very sickly sweet grin on her face "Off you go Micah! I want you to hug and smile at least 10 people! okay!?"

"Whatever" I grunted as I walked off with snoop dogg and fat joe

"Hey there free hug" Snoop Dogg smiled in smooth and whispery tone. The girls giggled as they each gave him a hug.

I groaned and turned away but Fat Joe wasn't a better sight "Hello Fellas!" Joe waved at two jocks who looked in somewhat disbelief "Free Hug?"

They didn't even respond they just gaffawed as they walked past him.

"Oh my goodness" I groaned into my hands "Guys when are we leaving!?"

"Once you've hugged one more person, come on Kiana said 10"

I sighed, Lunch was almost over people were hardly in the hall.

"No-ones going to come guys"

"Lets just wait a little"

And as if it was cued, Sean and The guy from class were walking in our direction.

"fuck" I hissed and faced the lockers they hadnt noticed me yet.

"Look Micah" Fat Joe warbled "Two more people what luck!"

"Shut up Joe. I don't want him to see me"

"But I can see him! Micah I'm freaking out!"

"Then shut your chubbby eye lids and then you won't see him and he won't see us!"

But he did.

I didn't realise mine and Fat Joe's argument drifted to the middle of the hallway

"Erm Excuse me?" My back was to him but I could tell it was Sean

"S-Sure" I shuffled to the side; had to make sure Sean didn't see my shirt

Not that I cared 

"Wait!" 

"Johnny!" I hissed as he jumped in front of Sean 

"We're giving out free hugs and Micah needs to hug one more person to complete his smile-mission"

"Oh Erm" I watched him from the corner of my eye my arms crossesd "I-I don't know, I don't think Micah wants to I mean I don't even want to.-" he breathed out "I think we should just go"

"Sean we're going to be running late" Reece smiled at me 

I swear if Fat Joe wasn't standing in front of me I would have killed this fucker.

Hasn't he realised that I'm the only one that calls him Sean.

"Dude" Sean smiled at Reece "It's Carter"

ha. 

"Please Carter" Joe pleaded "H-He needs just one more person, do you know how long it even took us to get 9 people!?"

"I'm not surprised; I know Micah's incredibly Anti social and angry" Reece chuckled as if that was funny.

"Johnny" I snapped at him seriously "Fuck these losers" I pulled him to the side"

"Micah.." 

"What Sean?"

He took an awkward step closer and I back until my back was against the lockers "Go away; just running out on alone time with your 'friend'" I glared at him like he was the pathetic trash I knew he was.

He sighed "You're such an asshole." he walked away with new friend Reece probably going to have sex near a trash can on something.

The bell rang confirming lunch was over

"Oh no!" Johnny wailed

"Is he serious?" I looked at Daryl who was leaning against the opposite lockers

"Why are you crying Joe?" I asked trying hard not to slap him

"You weren't able to complete your Smile mission"

"Jesus, you are so pathetic" I sighed and hugged him until he stopped crying when I let go he had this weird watery smile on his face. "See there, I put a smile on 10 people's faces"

"Yay!" he cheered as he wiped his sad little tears

"What was all of that with Carter?" Daryl asked "I thought you guys were like best friends"

I shrugged "were" I looked back at the path where they had walked "Seems like he has moved on"
