Thankyou, Society
The faucet under those lids slid open
They just said I was a crying burden
My body was tired and heaving
Instead they called me indolent
Whenever I cried my woes with honesty,
They said I was being a drama queen
Wanting to believe I'm powerful,
But drowning my dreams under my screams
Blood I envision when the blackness seeps,
To escape it the solace in friends I seek
But nowhere are they to be found,
When you are the staggering blind freak
They just smiled and said,
It's for your good child,
That we will change you,
Chase you till...
-Don't believe what the society says.
