"Don't ever call me your 'brother' ."

     The boy, rather be considered as a man growled flashing disgust to his birth mate.

     She seemed to be confused , however,  as matter of factness she turned without being touched by his noticable rage  , clicking heels on the marble steps she made her way to her sole nest,  her room.

      The echo of ' tik -tak' awakened the half awake - half dozing palatial mansion.  Every brick was hit with life with their unamused altercations.

        
            Nodding head in defeat he put the laptop aside when the door upstairs was not heard to be closed . He  in small jogging steps climbed up .

  "What's wrong in calling him ' brother' "
She did a hand coat  in air while rolling the word ' brother'  along with  her tongue. 

      When she was completely unaware about the presence of an another animal to her doorstep she kept mumbling and talking to herself .

             The man almost forgetting his manners already set his feet inside the room crossing the boundary between bedroom and corridor.

" Don't tell me you left you manner down there , with your laptop."

      He cocked his brows but soon realizing that he forgot to knock he successfully   hid his embarrassment and   posed his curiosity towards her while roaming  his eyes to her bed from her face.

"Are you going to sleep ?"

"Hmmph , as you can see me making my bed. I gotta go on .."  Paused and quickly stole a glance to his face and slipped ," ....a bar!"

      She knew he was  snickering at this point because he was with knowledge of the fact that she'd rather die than setting her feet out  of the house with her own will , with no pushing and bragging.

        
          Gathering his cool  he wanted to know if she had dinner at that high school farewell get together of their or not.  To him it was a known question but just to longing the conversation he told her.

" Thank God I had dinner otherwise my sane eyes would have never witnessed your insane native mass of admirers. "

"Whatever..."  Tossing the  pillow to the  either side of the bed she really went silent this time.

       He felt something in her composition which was far from normal .

C'mon since the day of first of their birth they are together  . Even in their mother 's womb  .

"What happened?"

She did not mind to pay heed to his irritating attempts of knowing her real situation.

Before hanging the mosquito net she shared the last glance and heard him to repeat.

"What happened?" This  time desperation came to light just a bit.  He could be an ace hiding expressions.

"Did you doom your exam ?"

     Being an extremely busy in his trainings and official meetings and files he hardly kept track on her. Except the financial affairs and like basic necessities.

     It was just yesterday when her final of high school finished off . So , according to her natural trend she should have been carefree and happy . Though he hardly spared her , but he noticed the unnatural gloomymess in her eyes every time.

        Even after being able to meet her  anonymous classmates she would have been better but still the same.

"So, not  gonna pass ---------" he lowly carefully observed.

"WHY ARE YOU NOW . ALL AGAIN?"  She was actually afraid. " I can't hold it anymore. "

Her face showed the most painful shade of it . His face was unreadable.  Usually ,  it happened whenever she became sad or broken totally bruised from inside he went emotionless.

       Maybe he did not know how to show colour of consolation.  He could only push her buttons to throw up.

While shouting as she came closer to him with almost teary eyes she looked at his face . His eyes were like asking her to open up to him and he would do the way she would want him.

"Can you gimme a 'good ' hug ?" His body stiffened as his jaw visibly tightened . Soon he tugged out his palm to extend it beside her , gesturing ' come get me'.

   With  a pursed lips and a red tinted nose she buried  her face in his chest . It was strong yet felt soft like a pillow as the muscles felt an inward push .  At the same time she wrapped her arms around his torso .

       He calmly inhaled her hair which were bit messy but smelled poise similar to his. A faint 'it's okay' he mouthed as they stayed for a moment like that .
