" No. I insist," he interrupted.
He leaned across the passenger side, and opened the door.
My senses heightened exponentially. Butterflies fluttered in my stomach. I was nervous.
What should I do?
"You coming?" He remained hunched over the passenger seat.
" Yeah." What did I just say?! I meant to say no.
" Then get in."
I didn't want to go. But something made me. I listened to the young man for some odd reason. It was like I had no more control over my body.
I jumped into the passenger seat, closed the door, and off we went.
I was terrified.
He could take me anywhere, and I would have no control over it.
