Elementals, humans born with inhuman powers that needed to be unlocked, completely fiction, and completely bad-ass. Or at least I thought they were fiction. That is, up until recently. My mom used to tell me and my siblings stories of these elementals, humans who only realized they had these powers once they were hit with the most traumatizing moment in their life. This group of people with astounding abilities, who were always hunted down or shamed by every other "normal" group of society. They were unwanted in this world, but that part always confused me. In this story, why were the elementals the bad guys? From what my mom had said, they always seemed as if they'd help anyone and everyone in their path. I just didn't quite understand that logic. From that point on I had decided that if I were to ever come upon an elemental, I would stand by their side and protect them from the hate of the world. And being the older brother in the family, must just give me a protective nature. I wanted them to have a perfect life like my own; one that I had loved so dearly. So from there on out, I, Sage Dayholt vowed to stand up for this group, and clear their bad reputation.

A/N Like I said, this book is probably hot garbage, read at your own risk. I have no idea what is going to happen with this story, but we can find out as a group. It's gonna be a wild ride looking at what I wrote a while ago, probably one full of regret, but hey, that's always fun.
