Ana arrived at her workplace two minutes sooner. She boarded the elevator and tapped her foot anxiously while waiting. She was chewing her nails, knowing what would happen if her boss arrived before her.

Once she reached the fifteenth floor after what felt like ages, she dashed to her cabin right next to her Boss' room.

The room was divided by the huge see-through glass and only Austin could see through it whereas Ana couldn't. Austin could keep a better eye on his prey this way. He was ready to eat her alive if she made a mistake, which everyone expected given her clumsiness.

However, there was a little secret about the see-through glass. It was covered by navy blue vertical blinds and they were mostly kept closed especially when Ana was around. Hence, Ana wasn't aware of the see-through glass till now.

Austin sighed for the umpteenth time when he glanced at his wristwatch and noticed his assistant was late again. He began to question if she was that unconcerned about him even when he was very strict regarding punctuality. He wasn't still sure why he had agreed to give her the job as his PA.

Ana was anything but punctual and perfect. She was so clumsy that she would frequently trip over herself or break things that were in her path as if she had buttons instead of eyes. Her deep ocean eyes might be beautiful, but useless. They only worked when she wanted to make them work.

Austin, however, was also aware that her persistence had allowed her to keep her job. She was also not like the girls who would wear extra short dresses to win his attention, which would never happen because he had someone else on his mind.

Ana was also a little too curious, which bothered Austin because she kept asking him pointless questions nonstop. She would obey his commands and he was glad because of that one quality she possessed. Overall, having Ana as his PA was a bittersweet feeling for him.

His thoughts were interrupted when someone knocked on the door. He checked the blinds to confirm if they were closed and once he made sure that they were, he exclaimed in his deep, husky voice. "Come in!"

Ana checked her appearance and cleared her throat before entering the cabin.

When she walked inside, shivers ran down her spine on noticing her cold, handsome boss who looked extra handsome wearing a shiny black dress shirt with a black tie. His grey suit was hung on the coat hanger in one corner.

Ana forgot to breathe when she noticed Austin's hazel eyes staring at her, which almost appeared as if he was glaring at her. He ran the fingers of his right hand into his brunette hair as he continued to look at Ana with his hooded eyes, causing goosebumps to appear all over her body.

Her eyes followed his hand, which had the cuffs of his shirt rolled up, revealing the popped-out veins on his muscular arm. His fit, muscular body looked extremely alluring, giving off her other ideas about how perfectly he could choke her and those veins would look sexier if he did so.

She shook her head a little to not let her mind wander and closed the door, stepping inside. "Good morning, Si –"

Before Austin could respond, she stepped on her foot and tripped with a thud sound. She was again lying on her stomach like she was earlier that morning. The scene was entertaining for her father in the morning, but it was annoying for her boss at the moment.

The diary she was holding had fallen over the hard wooden surface of the office, and the noise of the pen rolling over made Austin sigh for his dear life.

Austin would have screamed at her for being clumsy but he was too used to Ana clowning herself daily. She doesn't go a day without tripping or breaking something and the thought alone made him shake his head in disbelief.

With a straight face, he kept watching her stand up. She stood up with the diary and rushed over to the pen that had stopped rolling near the leather couch at the other end of the office. She glanced back toward Austin and gave him a silly smile as if she was apologizing for the scene she was creating.

The scene unfolding made Austin turn his attention to his laptop without showing any expression on his face.

With her diary and pen in hand, she rapidly approached him. "Good morning, Sir!"

"My coffee?" Austin asked in his usual cold voice, without sparing a glance at her.

"Oh, damn! I'm going to have to kill my brother right now. I'm late because of his lectures, and I forgot to bring charcoal water for Hitler," Ana murmured as she glared at the figure working on his laptop.

"Please give me five minutes. I'll return with your cha- coffee." She bolted out before Austin could say anything.

Ana scurried back into the office with the coffee in her hands just a few minutes later, a sheepish grin printed on her face.

"Sir, you have a meeting with Moonlight Company in half an hour and dinner with the CEO of BST Company. Should I make a reservation at your favourite restaurant?" Ana inquired formally like a pro. She wasn't clumsy when it came to work, because she enjoyed her work.

"Yes, for four," Austin uttered while checking his files.

"Okay, sir! I'll book the table. Do you need anything else?" She looked at her boss who was busy with his work.

Ana was fine by now with her boss avoiding her. It was normal to her not just because she hated him, but because Austin's gaze was intimidating which would make Ana feel nervous at times.

"No!" He spoke coldly while sipping his coffee as he continued with his work.

"Alright, sir."

Ana turned her heels and was about to leave the room when Austin spoke something, making her halt. "I'll need those files before I leave for dinner in the evening."

"Sure sir." She turned again to face Austin and flashed a formal smile when she noticed him intently looking at the girl.

"Miss Anderson, you must attend the meeting with me." Austin now spoke in a commanding voice that turned deeper for no reason. His hands rested on the table as he intertwined both his palms, patiently waiting for Ana to throw a few questions at him like she always did.

"But sir, how can I? Take Stacy or someone else along with you," Ana spoke, widening her eyes which made him roll his eyes mentally after looking at the over-dramatic girl.

"I'm assuming you're my PA, not Stacy," Austin spoke through gritted teeth.

"Sir, what if I make some mistake?" She spoke in a low voice while looking at the floor as if it was the most interesting thing in that room. She began to bite her lower lip out of nervousness.

"Then leave your clumsy self here, Miss Anderson!" Austin said somberly as he continued gazing at the girl who was staring at the floor.

"Okay, sir. I'll take a leave now." Austin responded with a hum and returned his focus to the laptop.

After two hours, Austin heard a knock on the door. "Come in," he said in a bored tone as he continued working.

Ana opened the door and peeked unprofessionally, looking like a small child who examines stealthily when their parents are fighting. "Sir, it's time to leave for the meeting."

"Give me a minute. I'll be outside." He responded without looking at the girl who now entered the office after closing the door behind her.

"Sure sir. And file?" Ana asked while looking at the file and Austin back and forth, nibbling on her lower lip nervously.

"Take that with you and wait for me outside. Also, remember to leave your clumsy self behind. This meeting is very important for me. I wouldn't want you spoiling it." Austin spoke in a demanding voice, still not looking at the girl.

As if I was begging you to take me. I wouldn't ever want to go with you. I'll get some free meals to which I agreed. Huh, Rude man!

On not receiving a response, Austin stopped working and looked at the girl who seemed to be busy with her thoughts. "On earth, Miss Anderson." He said coldly, making Ana chuckle, "Oh, yeah! Sir. Umm, so I guess I'll wait for you. I'll take your leave."

"OUT!" Austin yelled, rather commanding in an irritating voice. Ana flinched and glanced at him, only to find him staring daggers at her. His nose began flaring in anger, making her wish for the ground to open and swallow her in order to save her from embarrassment.

Ana quickly rushed out, not wanting to irk her boss anymore. She mumbled as she waited for Austin to come out. "This guy irritates me to no end. I have no choice except to endure him because that is all I can do. He pays generously, and I can't join my dad's company. My poor life, I feel sorry for you. Oh, Ana! Calm down and obey him. You will have delicious food later."

The meeting was successful. Thankfully, Ana didn't act stupidly. She just ate her food like a pig, besides that she behaved well. Austin's prayers were answered it seemed.

The two walked out of the restaurant. Austin walked faster with his right hand dug into his pant pocket and his eyes glued to the phone that he held in his left hand. Ana followed him taking little steps since she couldn't walk any faster because her stomach was stuffed.

Ana halted in her steps when she felt her phone vibrating inside her pockets. She answered the call instantly after noticing the name. "Yes, Big Bear? How may I help you?" She let out teasingly.

"Marshmallow, where are you? It's already 10 pm. Why haven't you returned yet? Is everything okay with you?" Eros's concerned voice made Ana roll her eyes at the sudden interrogation of her brother.

"Could you please allow me to speak?" Her voice got a little louder with irritation.

"Oh yes, I'm sorry." The meek tone made Ana sigh this time. She wanted to switch off her phone but she responded calmly anyhow, "I just got free. I was in a meeting."

"Who are you with?"

Ana rolled her eyes when Eros yelled again. His mood swings were no joke. "My boss duh." She sassed but soon flinched when her boss came closer to her and whispered lowly. "Miss Anderson, come. I'll drop you."

The voice was audible to Eros though. His heart began thumping as his fist clenched unconsciously. "Is that Austin?" He inquired through gritted teeth.

"Talk to you later, brother! Bye!"

She hung up the phone angrily and turned to face her boss. "Thank you, sir, but I'll take a cab," Ana said formally with a small smile to appear polite even though she was rejecting the kindness of her boss, which was surely rude.

"Miss Anderson, GET. IN. THE. CAR. RIGHT. NOW!" To make his point, he emphasized each word.

"But Si –"

"Didn't you hear me? I said, right now!" He instructed, motioning towards the car. Ana had been working with this dominant man for two years now. So, she understood exactly what he meant. She slid into the passenger seat and fastened her seatbelt.

"Address?" He asked as his gaze was fixed on the road.

Shall I give him my address? No, that would bring me trouble, especially when my brother is at home. I should walk once I reach our alley. Yes, that's bett—

Austin turned to look at the girl sitting in the passenger seat who was lost in her thoughts and asked coldly, "Miss Anderson, are you alright?"

"Y-yes S-sir." She responded nervously to which Austin inquired again, "Address?"

"I'll give you directions. My brother shouldn't see you." She looked down while playing with her fingers.

"Excuse me! Do I know your brother?" He asked coldly with a raised brow as he looked at Ana for a brief second before shifting his gaze to the road.

"Oh, N-no NO sir! I mean, he is a bit possessive when it comes to me. So yeah... I guess."

He was uninterested in Ana or her brother's life. He rolled his eyes at the 'too much information' about his PA's real life which had nothing to do with their professional relationship. "Oh, whatever!" He exclaimed dully and shrugged off the topic.

After 10 minutes of the awkward ride, Ana finally heaved a sigh of relief. "Sir, stop here. My house is just a few miles away. Thank you, sir! Good night!" She babbled as she unfastened the seat belt and stepped out of the car.

"Okay," Austin responded uninterestingly without looking at the girl before driving off.

"Such arrogant bas- Ahhhh This man never misses an opportunity to irritate me. Isn't he capable of wishing good night? Such a mannerless man." She mumbled as she walked toward her home.
