He got up from the bed and strode towards me and I paced back until I reached the door and I turned to open it when I felt him close the distance between us. I shivered with his closeness, and the next words he uttered me shocked me "My dear Lyn I knew you would be jealous. I just wanted to test whether you hold any feelings towards me or not. Now that I know I will make sure you realize them yourselves. You, my dear, are my lost sweetheart" and kissed me on my crown before letting me go and moving out of the door.

Richards's POV

As I made my way to my so-called lusting brother I thought about why Evelyn didn't share with me what she faced might be if she would have shared I would have protected her better. I can't believe I was so blind. I trusted someone who has betrayed me over and over. As I came to Evans's Mansion I barged to Steven's room but found no one in there. 

As I checked in other rooms when I opened a door I saw a lady standing near the window but she turned when she heard the door opened. As soon as she looked at me she rushed towards me and said "Richards you came?".

I pushed her back and shouted "Where's that bastard Steven?"

"Richards mind your language. How could you call names to your brother" She said angrily.

"I can because he kidnapped my wife from my own home" I yelled back.

"And what makes you believe it was he did it and not the other way round" She questioned.

"I know because he was the lusting after her right under my nose" I answered back.

"And yet you did nothing? Isn't it" She said smirking.

"You think it's funny ?" I yelled.

"Oh I do because till yesterday you didn't bother about that woman and now after your accident, all you care about is your wife. You even forgot you never raised your voice at me. You forgot your love for your brother" she said.

"And what did my dearest mother give me back. She tried to taint my relation with my wife. And my so-called brother he kept harassing my wife behind my back and my mother turned a blind eye towards it"  I shouted. She shivered but then she said "He's not here Richards and I didn't do anything to cause any issues between you and your wife" 

"I would have believed if I didn't know any better" I answered and moved out of the house.

I called my PI and said that Steven has boarded a flight for Los Angeles. I immediately went to the airport to catch the bastard.

Unknown POV

"Master, the fool kidnapped Mam" My right-hand man Marcus told.

"Marcus why you are calling him a fool?" I said and saw Marcus stiffening.

"The man did what I should have done long back. He took my love away from the overbearing men who suffocated her. Now I can claim her from him" I said immediately getting up to visit Daniel Franoik.

I reached the place where the fool held my love captive. I wore my mask and moved out of the car. The butler led me in and I found fool was having scotch at the bar.

"Seems like you are enjoying yourself Mr. Franoik" I said.

"Sir,  you are here?" He said.

"Didn't I tell you to watch your actions?" I said in my firm voice.

"Master I didn't do anything"  He replied confused.

"That's the problem that you didn't do anything to ensure my shipments reach on time. Didn't I warn you earlier?" I asked him.

"Sir... I sent the best of my men to deliver but somehow the shipments were stolen before we could deliver" he replied.

"So... you mean it's my mistake to trust you on that?" I said amused. "Then let me correct my mistake" I yelled at him. He shivered at the place he stood. 

Then I walked towards him and said "You think I wouldn't know you have brought a girl over here in my domain. Did you think I wouldn't know" I said glaring at him.

He started shivering and said "Sir... we love each other and want to marry but her family is opposed to it so...."

"So... you brought her here without my permission" I shouted.

"Sir... I " he said and I cut him off saying "Bring her here".

Soon my men brought her and when she saw me she looked shocked as well frightened. I stalked towards her and she tried cowering away but my men kept her in place. I circled her and it made the fool glare at me and when I was about to sniff her he shouted "Please sir... she is innocent and has nothing to do with it. If you want to take your anger, take it on me".

Immediately she jerked her face towards him as if she was shocked by his action. I laughed at him thinking he thought he can appease me by that. She looked at me and flinched when I laughed making me stop.

"Leave the useless man once broken and take her to my car" I said leaving his Mansion.

In the car, she sat to the extreme end in the backseat. I looked at her when I found she was looking outside.

"You know I own you now. You not facing me shows disrespect to me" I said.

She scoffed and said "You think me not facing you is disrespect. Then you dragging me here for no reason, what is it?"

"No reason... I took you for ensuring the safety of my shipments" I replied.

"You want me to believe that. You just want to settle scores with him" She countered.

I was shocked at this and looked at her to explain.

"You take me for a fool. We were together when he got the news of shipments being stolen. He was just thinking about to inform you may be and you just barged in and in the next 5 minutes, your men made his men submit to you. If I am correct, you cannot come here this fast unless you readily supervised or you are the party who stole the shipments. To cover this you took me to keep him distracted." She answered. I looked at her to continue and she said "I am not a beauty worth for your shipments amounting to billions. You are doing this to settle scores with him are you not?"

"Well for a naive girl you are smarter than the old fool" I said smiling "But you know what I would love to have you next to me and you are worth the billions of shipment lost".

She scoffed and again turned her face towards the window to ignore me. It hurt me but then I wanted to let her be "Baby girl right now you don't understand but soon you will".

We reached my secret mansion where security is the most topmost. She followed me without any protests. I asked the maid Esme to guide her to my room. She followed Esme without any questions not knowing she will be sharing the room with me.

I went to my study to see whether the shipments were back to the original place or not and it seems like my men did a great job at that. I was busy when Esme informed me that it's too late for dinner. I followed her out and sat on the dining table and waited for maids to lay the food on the table.

"Did she eat her dinner?" I asked.

"Sir, mam didn't wake up for dinner. We tried to wake her up but she was sleeping like a baby I didn't have the heart to wake her up" Esme replied.

"Fine..." I said and got up from my place leaving the food behind. I walked up to my room to find her sleeping on my bed. I couldn't help but sit next to her and stare at her beauty. I know she doesn't know who I am and once she does, she will run far away from me. But I will make sure it's too late for her to do so.

I have hidden my true self for long. I will be what I am born to be. I am going to embrace my true self only for her.
