Richard's POV

I took her out on full day cruise and made sure there was no one apart from us. Evelyn was shocked when ship started when we boarded. 

"Richard where is everyone?"

"There is no one apart from me and you Evelyn. I wanted to enjoy this day with you without any interference. I wanted us to explore new things at the same time to get to know each other. I felt Evelyn was hesitating at first when I dragged her inside and when she looked at the sight before her, her jaw dropped.  This expression of awe on her face brought smile on my face. I was happy that I did something that she liked and if she liked what I did then may be gradually she'll like me somewhat.

She ran excitedly in the  middle of the deck and still not believing that she was indeed there.

"Richard this is huge and you booked it only for us? It might have cost you a fortune" she asked while her smiley face turned to one that's frowning.

"Well angel anything for you and don't worry about the money" I replied smiling at the same time holding hers to take her with me when I felt her fidgeting nervously.

I turned to face her and asked"Evelyn did you not like the arrangement?"

"No it's not that. But Richard we are just friends and you are spending too much on me" She replied.

I looked in her and thought how in the world did I end up with girl so innocent and said "Angel I know we just started being friends and this is too much for you. But let me tell you I am not trying to pressurise  you to be in relation with me. Whatever I am doing till next 10 months is effort from my side to win your heart and if you felt in any way that the money I am spending is a way to hold you to me then I would say I failed before I started".

She looked guilty and said "Sorry Richard I didn't mean that"

But I cut her off and said "shh... Evelyn I love you and you are giving me even a chance is a great thing on your part".

Soon a stewardess appeared to escort us to our table and then she asked for our order. Once we were done with the breakfast I took her with me to a corner from where we can look at scenery around. And for the first time it felt like we belong to each other. Her being beside me made me feel happiness which I didn't feel since Rose. Evelyn was looking around and enjoying the sights around and I could see in her face that she really liked it the experience.

When the ship stopped at one of the lagoons, a smile crept on her face and an idea came to my mind and I said "Evelyn let's jump into the water" only to look at her horrid expression.

"Evelyn... Precious what happened ?" I asked her when she didn't answer and her face had turned pale. "Angel what is it?" I probed.

"I.... I am scared to go inside water. I can swim but that is limited to swimming pool" She answered and turned her eyes away from the sight ahead and focusing on her feet as if it was more interesting.

I closed the distance between us and cupped her face "Then I guess it's time to change it" I said smiling.

Her expression was fearful as well as confused when I pulled her to our room after asking the stewardess to fetch the necessities. Once Evelyn and I were dressed we jumped into water and I felt Evelyn struggling in water when we jumped. Later I pulled her to my chest and said "Precious don't be afraid just hold my hand and enjoy this. I will not let anything happen to you. She relaxed and soon we are floating in the water and then I showed her how to take deep deep dive in water and then resurface. I held her hand and signalled her to deep dive this time with me and then we were amongst the fishes under the water. It felt great with her like I can do this with her all my life.

Soon Evelyn started trying to collect fishes and enjoy and seeing her like this was wonderful experience for me. I have never done this with anyone though I loved under water diving. We enjoyed the underwater for sometime and then we were pulled back on the ship. We showered quickly in our rooms and then went for lunch. I could feel Evelyn was happy inspite of being tired.

The lunch was delicious and with her next to me it was epic. I was happy that I got to spend time with the woman I love and not only that even she enjoyed being with me. We talked on different topics and sometimes we enjoyed our silence.

"Evelyn.. can I kiss you" I asked hoping she would allow but after seeing her hesitating I could see that she was not comfortable and I laughed to turn it into a joke.

"Should have seen your face Precious you looked like I asked you to jump from cliff. I was just kidding" I said still laughing.

She frowned  and then said "You.. You were kidding. Thank god I was scared for a moment".

I felt hurt that she was scared that I will touch her without her permission. I took her hand in mine and said "Evelyn I asked you to give me time to prove myself. I am not going to rush things because I want you also to be sure of your feelings".

I could see relief on her face and it sting that she was not that open with me. I told captain to take the ship back because I wanted her to have her next surprise. I planned dinner for us on a beach.

I asked the waiter to bring in the champagne to celebrate our day and a soft music was running in background when I asked them to increase the volume and held my hand to her for dance. We danced and I found she was not comfortable in the starting but soon she followed my lead.

I looked in her eyes and felt I was drowning when she turned her head down. I lifted her chin up and said "Precious I want to always drown in your eyes. Don't take them away from me".

She blushed at that but didn't try to look away. Though I ordered champagne but she didn't drink so I ordered a fruit punch as side drink for her along with the exotic food we were having. Soon our night came to end we drove back to our hotel. She made way to her room and then I pulled her by her wrist and hugged her for a while. I wanted to feel her essence because it was being too hard a task not to kiss her.

She looked surprised when her gaze met mine and didn't hug me back so I said "Don't look at me now Precious. I won't be able to control myself" . I kissed her forehead before moving to balcony to distract myself. I heard her closing the room's door. I smiled that she didn't push me when I hugged her.

Evelyn's POV 

My breathe heaved and I felt this new sensation. I never thought I would feel something like this. I don't know what to say. I felt my body tingled when he hugged me. Today's day was really the best one of my life.

I felt like a princess and this new feeling that I might actually like him brought my senses. No I can't fall for him. He is rich and he might be nice now but I don't know how long this will last and may be after a month he will get bored and feel I am waste of time like how everyone else does. But I told myself I will enjoy however long it lasts. 

Steven's POV

I followed them and found he had taken her on a ship and though he reserved the whole damn cruise I made sure I had them spied. I saw him take her to board and then dive down in water where he held her hands. I waited for them and it took him a good hour to come back and she was dripping in water and the bikini she wore left little for imagination how beautiful she is. I could not stop but look at her. I was disappointed when she disappeared in her room for shower and then she came back with Richard for lunch.

She looked so beautiful and once again I felt rage in my heart. How is it possible that he gets everything in silver platter while I am always the one to see him enjoying. He informed the captain to sail back and I was happy that now they will move to hotel room where she will stay away from him but I was wrong bastard took her to a romantic dinner. He danced with her touching what's mine. I saw her enjoying too but again it was like she was oblivious to his intentions. Finally their night came to an end when they went back to their room.

I made my way to her room via balcony and entered her room. She looked angelic while sleeping. I stayed right next to her till early hours of morning and then left her room before taking some snaps of her and removed any trace of my presence.h

"Soon Love... Soon you will be mine" I smiled at the thought of her in my arms.
