Chara, Frisk, and Sans were walking home from school when they all heard yelping. Chara looked around and saw across the street, a small wolf pup, about a year old, running from a man who had a knife. Chara suddenly ran through traffic, throwing her book bag at Sans before pulling out her knife. "KID!" "CHARA!"

Chara jumped and slide on the hood of a car before sprinting to catch up to the man who was most likely going to harm you. Chara ran into an alley and jumped onto a dumpster before leaping in front of you and pointing their knife at the man.

"Out of my way, brat!" The man growled, you were whimpering as Chara glared at the man. "No." Chara turned her face all gooey and said "NEVER hurt this puppy again."
By the time Frisk and Sans caught up to Chara, the man was running for his life. "Aww it's ok." Chara said in a calm voice as you backed away from her, she looked at her knife and threw it into a pile of junk.

You looked at Chara and slowly walked up to her hand, sniffing it before nuzzling it. "Chara! Don't scare us like that again please!" Chara chuckled at Frisk and Sans before picking you up and wrapping you in her hoodie. "Kid, that's a wolf. We can't keep that in the house." Sans stated, Chara smirked and trashed the trashbag with facts/laws regarding keeping a wolf.

"Ok fine! We'll keep it!" Sans said after getting dunked on. Chara smiled and looked at you, you seemed shakened or broken to her. "Dont worry. That man is never going to hurt you again." Chara whispered before they all went home.

Chara was grooming your fur on her bed when Frisk walked in. "Hey Chara. Mom was going to the store to get your wolf a bowl and collar and she was wondering what's it's name?" Chara almost flinched, a name?! Chara looked at you, running a hand through your fur before thinking of the perfect name. "His/Her name is (y/n)." Chara stated proudly before suddenly giggling since you had jumped up to lick her chin.

Frisk shrugged and walked back down stairs while Chara returned to grooming you. "I bet you kinda hate humans, huh?" Chara asked, you looked at Chara and nodded. Chara smiled and petted your ear. "I do too. Dont worry, I'm more of a monster than a human."

After dinner, you walked up stairs and saw Chara sleeping on her red bed. You hopped up and snuggled at her side. You let out a wolf purr when Chara scratched the top of your head and putted her arm over you.

You had the perfect home.
