You sit in my room and stare down at your soul, it's (f/c) glow makes you feel more depressed then you had in the last week. Sans had mysteriously disappeared two weeks ago and everyone had searched for him for days, all until Toriel found his jacket in the snow.

"It was laying against a tree with scratches on it. I'm sorry..."

Both you and Papyrus had thought of the worst and had been in mourning. You loved that skeleton, more than anyone you've ever loved before. He helped you through all the nightmares, your parents death and whenever you had gotten sick. But now he's left you and Papyrus in this empty house, neither of you have left your rooms and the only way you get food is through Toriel. You put your headphones on and collapse into Sans' bed, it smells like ketchup and hotdogs. It also could be his jacket that your wearing.

"Sans..."

You scroll through your phone until a song catches your eye, you click it and throw it down as you sing along with the music.

You let the music fade off before silently stuttering out the last line.

"So p-please don't... go..."

You break into a stream of uncontrolable sobs as you cry into the thin air, you just want him back.

"SANS! Wh... FUCK! SANS! ... wh-why... WHY DID YOU LEAVE!?! SAAANS!!"

You scream into the cold air of your bedroom almost incoherable words. You know that Papyrus can probably hear you but, you have to let this all out. 

"SAAAANS! I... I W-WANT YOUR PUNS! Y-YOUR... SMILE! I... I... I want... y-you..."

A few days later you hear a commotion outside your room, it sounds like a whole bunch of Papyrus' yelling. Maybe Undyne has finally got him out of his depression. Loud footsteps can be heard out your door and it's suddenly opened violently, a crying Papyrus is holding a small bundle of blue in his arms.

"H-HUMAN! H-HE'S... SA... Sa... he..."

He collapses to his knees crying and holds the bundle tightly, it also seems to move itself. 

"Papyrus? What are you holding?"

It's a little dark in your room, you haven't lifted the blinds in a few weeks. The small bundle climbs out of Papyrus' arms and turns, a white skull turns and looks at you.

"h-hey kid... s-sorry..."

Your eyes widen, he's right there. In front of you. But you can only stare at him. You watch as tears form up in his eye sockets, right before crashing to the ground.

"i-i'm so s-sorry (y/n)! i... i don't have an e-excuse! i know you must hate me..."

You watch as the skeleton bawls his eye sockets out in front of you and his brother, you have a tight feeling in your chest.

"a h-human fell and i-i had t-to make sure th-that th-they wouldn't h-hurt you! i fought th-them but... i wasn't s-strong enough!"

He faces away from you as his sobbing becomes more rapid, it looks almost painful.

"th-they d-dragged me away a-and had th-threatened me w-with a knife... they wanted t-to find wh-where everyone l-lived... i-i killed it pap! i killed it (y/n)!!"

He stops talking and cries even harder, his hands are covering his face. You and Papyrus look at each other, both have looks of worry and care in them. You simultaniously move to Sans and embrace him.

"h-huh!?!"

"SHH BROTHER... NO MORE CRYING..."

"b-but-"

"Shh Sans. We're j-just happy that... your back safe..."

The three of you stay cuddled on the floor for what seems like hours. Undyne, Alphys and Toriel all come and check on you every ten or so minutes but you all never ask for anything, none of you want to move. You all eventually fall asleep in each others arms. Your just happy that you've got your family together again.
