jetpack blues
(underfell Sans x reader)
Once again (y/n) and Sans got into another fight that lead to Sans slamming the front door behind him. Hours had passed and (y/n) began to worry about her hot-headed boyfriend.
Sans' pov
Damn Papyrus, if he hadn't given me so much shit about work then I wouldn't have blown my top at her.
It was cold and pouring down rain. I would go home, but I need to cool off so I can properly apologize to (y/n).
I got those jetpack blues
just like Judy
the kind that make June feel like September
I'm the last one you'll ever remember
and I'm trying to find my peace of mind
behind these two white highway lines
when the city goes silent, the ringing in my ears gets violent
I felt like shit, I shouldn't have yelled at her.
She probably doesn't want to see me, so what's the point in going back.
(y/n's) pov
I pulled on my coat and ran into the freezing cold rain after Sans.
She's in a long black coat tonight
waiting for me in the downpour outside
Sans' pov
I could just barely hear what sounded like my name being called through the harsh sound of rain slapping against the ground and my bones.
She's singing "baby come home" in a melody of tears
while the rhythm of the rain keeps time
and I remember "baby come home"
I remember "baby come home"
I remember "baby come home"
I remember "baby come home"
I kept walking, contemplating our relationship.
Did you ever love her? Do you know? or did you ever want to be alone?
and she was singing "baby come home"
"baby come home"
She deserved so much better than me. I was better off being dusted.
I've got those jetpack blues
fight off the light tonight and just stay with me
honey, don't you leave
The memories of our time together rung fresh.
The times Papyrus or I made her mad and she would start to leave, but I would beg her to stay.
Don't you remember how we used to split a drink?
it never mattered what it was
I think our hands were just that close
the sweetness never lasted, no
I stopped in Chillby's for a drink. He proceeded to tell me that (y/n) had came looking for me.
"She's in a long black coat tonight
waiting for you in the downpour outside
she's singing 'baby come home' in a melody of tears
while the rhythm of the rain keeps time"
I was stunned.
She's looking for me?
And I remember "baby come home"
I remember "baby come home"
I remember "baby come home"
I remember "baby come home"
I ran hoping to find her. All my doubtful thoughts kept echoing in my mind.
Did you ever love her? Do you know?
Or did you never want to be alone?
And she was singing "Baby, come home"
I remember "Baby, come home"
There I spotted her sitting on a park bench. She was drenched, shivering, and crying. (y/n) clutched her trench coat closer in an attempt to get warm.
She's in a long black coat tonight
Waiting for me in the downpour outside
She's singing "Baby come home" in a melody of tears
While the rhythm of the rain keeps time
"(y/n), sweetheart?"
She snapped her head up and in an instant she lunged at me.
And I remember "Baby, come home"
I remember "Baby, come home"
I remember "Baby, come home"
I remember "Baby, come home"
She cried holding onto me tighter, scared I would leave again.
Did you ever love her? Do you know?
Yes I do love her.
Or did you never want to be alone?
I hate being alone and so does she.
And she was singing "Baby, come home"
(I remember) "Baby, come home"
"Sans, baby, lets go home"
