Moving Out [1]

Authors Note: So, this kind of continues on from the last Undertale story that I wrote. So, if you haven't read that one yet, I suggest you do before going onto reading this one.

I will have to say, I wrote this story quite a long time ago, so I do apologise if the writing is kind of cringe. But I hope you enjoy it nonetheless.

This story isn't ALL about Frans I suppose, but it's still the main ship within the story which is why I decided to include it in the title so people would know and wouldn't complain if they don't like the ship.

I have to point out at the start of these, just so that people won't get triggered, Frisk and Sans are of the same age.

"Wait, so... You're moving out?!" Frisk cried in surprise, at her former skeletal friend. She and Sans were casually relaxing on the sofa, on a normal Sunday afternoon, when Papyrus and Mettaton decided to drop a HUGE bombshell of news on their shoulders.

"I KNOW YOU WILL MISS ME HUMAN BUT, WE'LL ONLY BE ABOUT TWO BLOCKS AWAY." Papyrus replied.

"Yes, and besides, we've all got to get on with our lives eventually, darling. I've had a lot of free time on my hands lately, so it's best to start getting things sorted at this point in time. I mean, me and Pappy here, had been talking about this for a few months."

"A few months!?" Frisk exclaimed. She stared at the both of them in shock. She noticed Sans still hadn't said anything, as he sat, listening with his eyes closed and his arm across Frisk's shoulders. She pouted and slumped back into the seat, with her arms crossed.

It was true that Papyrus and Mettaton had been dating LONG before Sans and Frisk had been together. Frisk found their relationship pretty sweet and she found it so utterly adorable that the two of them actually wanted to continue moving forward with their lives. But she couldn't help but feel disappointed that her spaghetti loving pal was no longer going to be living under the same roof as her and her boyfriend.

"I'm gonna miss you." Frisk frowned. Papyrus sighed and knelt down, so the two of them were now face to face.

"I'LL MISS YOU TOO, YOUNG HUMAN. BUT LIKE I SAID, WE'LL ONLY BE 2 BLOCKS AWAY. I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, WILL STAY IN CONTACT WITH YOU. ALWAYS!"

Frisk managed a small smile and nodded. "Yeah... I know... I am really happy for you guys..." She muttered, leaning forward and pulling him into a hug. Sans opened one eye with a grin across his face.

"so, i guess this is the time you're finally leavin' huh bro? you're so gonna miss my puns, aren't you?"

Papyrus laughed. "SORRY BUT, NO SANS. I DON'T THINK I WILL MISS YOUR PUNS." He replied. Sans cocked his head to the side.

"really? but you know how my puns can be quite..."

"Sans-ational." Frisk finished for him. Sans chuckled and gave her a high-five, as Papyrus was already starting to look irritated.

"or who knows... maybe i can text them to you on a mobile.... bone." Sans continued, looking like he was utterly going to lose it with laughter. But he wasn't ready to stop yet.

"UGH, YOU'VE EVEN GOT FRISK FINISHING YOUR PUNS FOR YOU! I MEAN, REALLY SANS, I'M STILL HAPPY THAT YOU TWO ARE HAPPILY TOGETHER BUT SOMETIMES I FEEL LIKE YOU'RE A BAD INFLUENCE ON THE YOUNG HUMAN."

"Bad influence?" Frisk questioned, with innocent wide eyes. Sans and Frisk shared a knowing look and said in sync "don't you mean... RAD influence?"

Papyrus stomped his foot in frustration, as even Mettaton put his hand to his mouth and chuckled at that one too. He smiled.

"Haha, you two darlings are quite the pair, aren't you? You're both absolutely fabulous together." He winked at them. Frisk grinned.

"We could say the same to you, Mettaton. We wish you and Papyrus luck in living together!" Frisk happily said, as she got up and gave Papyrus and Mettaton a hug. Sans still sat on the couch, but smiled at the three and sighed. He had to admit, he was going to miss having Papyrus around the house. He loved being able to tell him his puns and seeing the look on his face. He liked just having him around, as of 'course, he was his little brother who he just wanted to look after. However, he had to accept that Papyrus was growing up now, and he wasn't really a baby anymore. He didn't need Sans by his side 24/7...

Besides, it's not like Sans was the only one there to look after Papyrus anyway. He had Mettaton. Not only that, but Gaster, their father, was able to pay a visit from the void every now and then. Gaster still hadn't exactly been used to being on the surface, and of 'course, with his slightly spooky appearance, he got a lot of stares. However, he was still a great father, even after everything that had happened between them.

Sans wasn't really ever angry at his father for what he had did. He had to admit, it had haunted him for most of his life, the things he had to deal with. He didn't really like the mention of his father's name. But that day, when he had saved Frisk in the Judgement Hall, he just had to be a little forgiving... He had been pretty.... 'Handy' after all...

"Yeah, I guess 'tibia' honest you could say me and Sans are quite fabulous, huh?" Frisk joked. Papyrus continued to shake his head.

"YOU TWO SPEND WAY TOO MUCH TIME TOGETHER... ANYWAY, I STILL HAVE A BUNCH OF UNPACKING TO DO. NO OFFENCE YOU TWO, BUT I'D PREFER IT IF YOU COULD GET OUT OF OUR HAIR. JUST SO WE CAN GET EVERYTHING OUT AND OUT OF THE WAY."

Frisk grinned. "But you don't have any hair, Papyrus."

"the kid has a point." Sans chuckled.

"AGHHHH! YOU GET WHAT I MEAN! NOW COME ON, PLEASE?!"

"Alright, alright. I guess we are crossing the BONEdries and making you a little uncomfortable." Frisk said, as she and Sans started to get off the couch.

"heheheheh. good one kiddo." He laughed. Just as it looked like Papyrus was utterly going to lose it, Sans took Frisk's hand in his. In a quick flash of blue light, the two of them landed outside of Grillby's. Frisk let out a small yawn, as she stretched her arms up towards the sky.

"Can you believe they're moving in together...?" Frisk mumbled, as they were just walking through the front door. Sans slowly nodded.

"i know. it's quite... un-bone-lievable." He grinned. Frisk managed a small giggle, as Sans rose one of his hands out of his pockets to give a wave to Grillby. "hey grillby!"

"Hey Sans!" He called back from behind the counter. "What brings you here today then?"

"heheheh. papyrus kinda kicked us out. he hasn't exactly got the spine for our puns, has he, kiddo?"

Frisk laughed. "You got that right, Sans. Hey, Grillby, did you hear? Papyrus and Mettaton are moving in together."

"Oh?" Grillby was looking under the bar for something as he replied. Standing upright, he put a ketchup bottle on the counter for Sans, who took it and started to drink it happily. "That's the first I've heard of it."

"I know! But can you believe it? I mean, it's so adorable!" Frisk squealed. "What do you think, Sans?"

"hm?" Sans took the ketchup bottle away from his mouth and wiped away a tiny bit of ketchup that happened to spill down his chin. "well, at first, i honestly thought their relationship was gonna be... a boneafide disaster."

"Saaaaans...." Frisk cried. He smiled.

"but, honestly, i guess they are quite a catch together." Sans said, as he continued to drink his ketchup. Frisk nodded in agreement, as did Grillby.

"Yeah, I guess they are. Now then, do you want anything, Frisk?"

"Uh... Could I have.... Fries?"

"Sure, why not. I'll get them ready so they'll be done in a few minutes or so." Grillby said.

"Okay!" Frisk replied. Just as she saw Grillby turn around to do something behind the bar, she propped her elbow onto the desk and rested her chin in her hand. Looking over to Sans, she opened her mouth to speak.

"If you think about it... Since Papyrus is moving out... That means it'll only be me and you living together... In a way all four of us are kinda taking a huge step."

Sans rose his eyebrows at her, as he removed the ketchup bottle from his mouth. "yeah, you're right kiddo. i never really thought about that... i mean, it's kinda crazy just that he's movin' out. 'specially since during most of our lives so far, it's just been me and him. to think that he's finally going off and doing his own thing, without me... well, what can i say?"

Frisk beamed, taking his hand in hers. "He'll be okay. Mettaton will take good care of him. I know that." He nodded in agreement.

"yeah... i know that too..." Sans replied.

Frisk knew that this was probably a lot to take in for Sans. After all, like he had said, for most of their lives it had just been him and Paps. To think that Papyrus was becoming a LOT more independent now, Sans must have been SO proud of him... But he must have been sad to see him go too. It wasn't like they weren't going to see him anymore... But things were going to change, that was a fact... But sometimes change really was for the good.

After all, it was great to see everyone was getting on, after that huge ordeal with Chara... Her name was still brought up every now and then, but only because they had to deal with so much torment from her... Frisk still had nightmares because of it from time to time, but they seemed like the normal type you'd get from horror movies or creepy happenings, rather than Chara messing with her in some way, just like she used to. Since it had been almost a year already since that had happened, Frisk's nightmares had become less occasional and she was a lot more relaxed, just like how she used to be, before Chara had tried to turn her life upside down.

"You think you're gonna be okay, Sans? With Papyrus moving out?" Grillby wondered, sliding a bowl of fries in front of Frisk. Frisk stopped the bowl with the palm of her hand and turned her head towards Sans. He was resting on the counter, with his chin in his arms. He had a thoughtful look on his face, as he was staring down towards the ground. He looked up towards Grillby.

"'course. i'll be fine." He mumbled, turning his gaze away from Frisk and Grillby and back towards the counter. He fiddled with the ketchup bottle in his hand. "it'll just... take a lotta gettin' used to. that's all."

"Yeah... I see what you mean..." Frisk agreed with a nod, as she placed a chip into her mouth. Grillby bobbed his firey head up and down in agreement also, as he moved his glasses up his face.

"Well, if you ever feel like you're having another one of your down days, you know you can always come here."

"heheheh. i know... thanks grillby. you're a good pal to have 'round..." Sans grinned.
