Like a little family

~Flash back to when you were 8~
You laid on the ground in the echo flower caves, staring up at the sparkling rocks and a smile stretched into your features and young eyes stared at the 'sky'. "I wonder if the sparkling rocks make constellations like the ones in the real night sky" Say speaking your mind. "I wouldn't know kid, never seen anything on the surface." Sans said, looking at you then looking at an echo flower that had copied him. You giggled your child giggle. "Well I dunno what they are either but I wanna know." You say getting up.

You make a wish and a wide smile spreads across your face. "What did ya wish for kid?" You stayed quiet then replied with sign language that you had picked up from a book. "I can't say or it won't come true" he said as you spelled it out. "come on kid, you can tell me and it will still come true." You sighed but you trusted Sans. "Alright. I wish that you, me and Papyrus could go to the surface together and see the stars for real." He smiled. "that's a great wish. now we better get going. paps will be wondering where we split of too." You giggled at the inside joke.

Joke - You were going home with a banana split in hand and eating happily. When you did get home though you tripped and in an attempt to save the split, you threw it up only for it to land on Papyrus' head.

You were much like the skeleton bros. One day you had just showed up out of no where and they took you in... Well, it was more Sans then anything since Papyrus was still small-ish. You were a great child raise, always full of creativity, bravery and curiosity but that was according to Sans. He was almost like the best father figure ever, puns and all except for when he would just show up and be completely tired which meant you had to go to Grillby's but that didn't change anything.

As you slowly got older, determination started to pump through your veins. You never stopped looking for a way out without harming anyone. Papyrus got talked and Sans didn't seem to do a lot anymore. You tried to spend as much time as possible with him so he wouldn't feel bone-ly but you felt that maybe you weren't trying hard enough. Sans never seemed to age and you would get taller and older but he was still a father figure in your eyes.

You sat on the couch, reading a book on the surface and such. Papyrus and Sans had been out for quite a while and you were slightly confused but eventually they came home. You were quick to drop your book to get to the guys "Hey, what's going on?" You asked as the brothers seemed to have a dark feeling around them. "NOTHING OTHER THEN WE FOUND ANOTHER HUMAN." Papyrus said and your eyes widened slightly. You thought you were never going to be able to meet another human. "Awesome." "I WOULD SAY SO TOO BUT..." Papyrus paused. "they really don't like puzzles" Sans finished. "Well that's no fun." You said crossing your arms before leading the boys to the kitchen where you could hear up some spaghetti and grab a bottle of ketchup for Sans.

"THANK YOU (Y/N)" "thanks kid." You smiled at the two when you gave them the food. "So tell me what the other human is like." "WELL THEY WERE SHORT, HAD BROWN HAIR AND WORE A STRIPPED SWEATER." You nodded a little. "I see." "they were around about 10 or so." Sans clarified. You nodded. "Hey, after the last look out you guys wanna go to the echo flower cave again. I think I know some constellations. Or we could name some of you guys want to." You said hopefully and the two nodded. They continued eating until finally it was time for them to head off. You saluted to the brothers before going to do the dishes and then going to take a well deserved nap... Yep you were Sansy's little girl.
