Papyrus X Reader

You sat in the snow, staring down into the water. You slowly put your hand into the water and instantly retracted because of the waters low degrees. The thought of your family back home worrying about you made you upset but you pushed away your sadness most of the time and smiled so everyone thought you were fine but now you were stuck and had no idea what to do. You didn't want to leave Snowdin but you needed to get home.

You sighed and also remembered some horrible dreams you had which was everyone you cared about being controlled by vines and the one behind it was Flowey. You hated seeing everyone look like puppets, especially Papyrus. The look of happiness would have left his face and he would look in pain. You cared for Papyrus so much that you did anything to make sure he was happy.

"HUMAN?" You turned around and got up to see Papyrus. You put on a smile and walked up to him. "Hey Paps, how's it going?" You asked. "GOOD. I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF YOU ARE OK?" He asked and you nodded. "Yeah why?" "YOU DIDN'T HAVE BREAKFAST WHICH WAS MY AMAZING SPAGHETTI." He said sadly which caused you to panic. "I just wasn't that hungry this morning. I'll eat it later, I promise." You said smiling but that didn't improve Paps mood.

"DO YOU WISH TO TALK ABOUT WHY YOUR UNHAPPY?" He asked and you sighed and say in front of the lake again and Paps sat with you. "I just really miss my family..." You mumbled, remembering memories and the thought of you never seeing them made you close to crying until a pair of boney arms wrapped around you and pulled you close.

"PLEASE DON'T LET YOUR EYES LEAK HUMAN." He said, hugging you tightly but you were still able to breath. You  hugged back and breathed heavily to try and stop yourself from crying. You rest your head against Paps rib cage but the clothes made it feel like an everyday human chest. He got up and held you still in the hug and he walked back to his house. "HUMAN... I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS WILL HELP YOU GET HOME TO YOUR FAMILY" he declared and you smiled widely and wiped any tears that managed to escape your eyes.

"Thanks Paps, that means a lot." He sat you down on the couch and kept you close to him incase you needed to cry again. "You know what Paps, I think I'll have that spaghetti." You smiled at him. He nodded and before he could get up, you kissed his cheek which made him blush a bright orange. "SO YOU FINALLY SHOW YOUR TRUE FEELINGS HUMAN"

Alternate ending~~~

"Thanks Paps, that means a lot." You said and smiled. Papyrus looked away and rubbed the back of his skull, a light orange tinted his cheeks and he sat close to you to make sure you would be ok and he could do something that he hoped would be ok. "HUMAN...(Y/N) CAN I KISS YOUR CHEEK?" He asked and you blushed. "Sure Paps."

He was quick to 'kiss' your cheek with his teeth and as he pulled away, Annoying dog jumped on Papyrus's back which caused him to fall forward and 'kiss' you on the lips. You ended up falling back to make sure you or him got hurt. He pulled away, both of you blushing like crazy. You both were too stunned to talk but you could admit you liked it. Suddenly the door opened. "hey paps, I'm back" Sans went quiet when he saw Papyrus on top of you, both of you flustered. His eye turned blue and Sans pulled you out from the position. "the bonezone is closed."
