Burgerpants sighed and burnt out his cigarette in the ashtray he hid under the counter. It had been a long day so far, and all he wanted to do was go home and sleep for a week. This job he hated so was exhausting. The only thing that brightened his day was when his friend, whose name was Nick but just went by NCG most of the time, came in to say hi.

He was pretty nice, and even though his optimism was annoying, it was cute, too. God, I'm gay... BP thought to himself, chuckling a bit and lighting up another cigarette, even though he knew his boss, Mettaton, would be angry at him for smoking on the job. He heard the doors open, and looked up to see the blue rabbit monster running over.

"Benny!!" he said happily, pulling BP over the counter and into a hug. He smiled a bit, trying to sound annoyed. "Nick!" he laughed back, unable to hug back due to the position they were in. "How's your day been?!" NCG asked. BP shrugged.

"Same ol', same ol'. Yours?" The bunny monster smiled brightly, making BP smile too as he felt his cheeks heat up. God he was cute... "My day's been incredible, as usual! Especially since I get to see you again!" NCG chirped. "Hey, I have something I wanted to ask you..."

BP looked up. "Well then, fire away dude!" NCG handed him a Nice Cream sandwich from his ice cream stand. BP predicted that the wrapper had what the rabbit wanted to say on the inside, since he was acting a bit shy. He unwrapped the package — chocolate Nice Cream, the cat monster's favourite, along with a note written in pink text that said "Will you go out with me?"

BP spit out his cigarette in surprise and looked up to his awkwardly smiling friend. "So... will you?" NCG asked hopefully. He didn't expect to be pulled over the counter and into a crushing hug. "Of course! I've liked you for a long time, Nick. I would love to!" NCG smiled and hugged back. "I'm so happy to hear that! So, meet up in Snowdin after your shift?" he asked. BP nodded. "Sounds great! See you then!"

NCG went on to leave the building, a big smile and a cute blush on his face, and the cat monster behind the counter of MTT Burger Emporium had the exact same expression on his face as he lit up another cigarette, looking forward to the end of his shift.
