Puppets and Games
Twenty-Third: Oh shit story idea: Error makes puppets. In FGOD he is a puppet. What if there is a Error/FGOD Error story where all the events of the book are just error playing with puppets, trying to convince himself they all are still alive, hence why the personalities vary from canon is because Error's twisted mind is trying to remember them, but is twisting them from canon to FGOD. Fate isn't actually to blame. She tried to mitigate his insanity in the Anti-Void but ultimately failed.
I giggle softly, laughing at a knife pun from Killer.
"G00d 0n3 Ki115! Y0u 4r3 r3411y funny!" (Good one Kills! You are really funny!) I smile, relaxing as Nightmare settles his goopiness all over the place.
"Nightm4r3! Y0u'r3 m355ing up th3 c0uch! N0w I h4v3 t0 g0 0ut 4nd find 4 n3w 0n3!" (Nightmare! You're messing up the couch! Now I have to go out and find a new one!)
"So?" I roll my eyelights, getting up and teleporting into the multiversal mall, humming softly as a portal opens behind me.
"Error!" I turn to look at my friend, giggling.
"Nightm4r3 g00p3d up th3 c0uch, w4nn4 h31p m3 g3t 4 n3w c0uch?" (Nightmare gooped up the couch, wanna help me get a new couch?)
"Sure!" Ink walks over, and I can't help but smile in response that everything blew over smoothly.
I should probably explain what happened!
Well, it was a normal day, Inky created a new AU like always, and I went to it, finding a trap AU and an army awaiting me. After I was nearly killed, my soul revealed itself. I had lost my focus and was unable to see what happened and who checked me. All I recall is coming back to reality with several of the Sanses healing me in the Anti-Void. They all apologized and began to change the behaviors that caused me so much trouble before.
Now the entire multiverse is my friend, or at least neutral!
I hum softly, picking the couch and smiling at my best friend Ink, who sends a guilty smile.
"I'm still really sorry for hurting you so much, Error, and doing so wrongly!' I giggle, smiling at Ink.
"It'5 0k4y! I f0rg4v3 y0u 41r34dy!" (It's okay! I forgave you already!) Ink smiles back.
"I know, but should you really?" Error shrugs.
"1if3 i5 t00 5h0rt t0 h01d grudg35." (Life is too short to hold grudges.)
"Speaking of, has Fate been treating you well?"
"5h3'5 g0n3...5i13nt. I h4v3n't h34rd h3r 5p34k f0r 4 whi13. 3v3r 5inc3 th3 truc3. I'm 5ur3 5h3'5 ju5t m4d 4t m3 f0r r3v341ing th3 w4y th3 mu1tiv3r53 w0rk5 4nd ruining y0ur fun." (She's gone...silent. I haven't heard her speak for a while. Ever since the truce. I'm sure she's just mad at me for revealing the way the multiverse works and ruining your fun.) Ink sighs softly.
"Well, good luck with Nightmare's goop and stuff." I nod in response, smiling and waving to my dear friend who leaves through a portal. I then take the couch back home, glaring playfully at the goopified skeleton, destroying the couch and replacing it, humming softly.
I sit down on the couch, before pulling out a blank puppet, beginning to work on it. Instantly the others all watch me make this blank puppet. I smile, working happily on my project, knowing I am safe from Fate.

Fate shows the remnants of her multiverse to the Higher Ones, the person responsible for the end of the multiverse being locked in his Anti-Void, completely alone, playing with his strings and puppets while muttering softly to himself.
I never once turned him to insanity. He happened into the Anti-Void due to his own Determination and now here he will die, alone, and insane as can be.
"I suppose you want a new multiverse...?"
That would be for the best.
"You'll have to put him out of his misery..." Fate looks down, and her sibling steps forward.
"I will put the young Error out of his misery. It is not right for anyone to suffer this way, and I have the perfect way to do it." The Higher Ones and Fate both nod, allowing Destiny the access she requires.

Error tilts his head, looking around as a voice drifts into his home from somewhere strange.
"Hmmm? Wh0 i5 th3r3?" (Hmmm? Who is there?)
Hello my young child. Your Fate has been horrendous, but I have a way to heal all your scars and bring you back to who you once were.
"Y0u kn0w wh0 I u53d t0 b3?" (You know who I used to be?) Error walks around, eventually finding the voice to be coming from the place the Void meets the Anti-Void.
Of course I know who you used to be, you were my chosen child long ago. The Void is the place where you can meet me, rediscover yourself, and finally be free from Fate's bindings.
Error feels this is almost too good to be true, but he wouldn't be lying if he said he has been contemplating jumping and not existing. His family and friends are all great, but everything feels wrong. Error steps closer, sighing softly.
"Pr0mi53 my fri3nd5 wi11 b3 54f3 with0ut m3?" (Promise my friends will be safe without me?) The voice releases a soft sigh, before seeming to nod.
Of course, my young friend. They will be safe even in your absence.
With that, Error Jumped.

Error should have expected to get torn apart. Error should have expected to die. But what he didn't expect...
I am sorry Error, for deceiving you. You killed all your friends. You were losing your mind, and the multiverse wasn't salvageable. Fate came to all the Deities to figure out what to do, and they decided you needed to die. I decided your death would be peaceful.
Error closes his eye scokets, resting.
May you forever have a peaceful rest, young Error. May your soul remain at peace. May you pass gently onto the next life, as a piece of stardust.
Error releases his final breath, relaxing.
(975 words.
Yeap. Another slightly short one, but I hope you enjoyed. I enjoyed writing this one.
