(Oceantale papyrus)

There isn't much of Oceantale and it makes me sad, I love this au. Sorry if the title sucks! I couldn't think of one at the time! And finally a papyrus! Special thanks to Letsplaylate for requesting something different!

It had been a few months since you've been saved by your tall skeleton captain.

You had been on a human ship when during a storm it had crashed into an island, a few days later a monster ship had landed on the same island.

A fish lady held you captive until the captain dressed in red came to rescue you.

He was very kind to you, he always made sure you weren't hungry, cold or sick. And when you were sick, he'd always nurse you back to health.

"Y/N!" Someone yelled snapping you out of your little flashback.

"Huh?" You shook your head and turned only to be face to chest with Captain Orange, your cheeks burned.

"Y/N? ARE YOU ALRIGHT? YOU SEEMED OUT OF IT?"

You nod. "Y-yeah.. I'm fine! Just thought I saw a dolphin! Yeah..."

He eyed you for a moment before smiling. "OH ALRIGHT! DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT! YOU WERE LEANING A LITTLE CLOSE TO THE EDGE AND I DIDN'T WANT YOU TO FALL OVERBOARD!"

You shyly smiled. "Heh I'm okay really, I wouldn't fall off. And even if I did, I know you would have saved me."

His smile widened, cheekbones glowing a light orange. "WHY OF COURSE I WOULD! YOU'RE MY FAVORITE HUMAN AFTER ALL! NYEH HEH HEH!"

You blushed again. "I'm glad to be your favorite Captain."

The next day or night.. Because it was night now, you sat in the dining hall with the rest of the crew.

You and Alphys shared random stories and laughed together, Undyne joined you both.

It was fun until they started to ignore you when they started flirting, so you quietly stood up and took your lunch elsewhere.

You sat at the edge of the ship again, you always came here just to get a little time to yourself.

The wind had picked up slightly, it blew your hair into your face, annoying you.

"Y/n? You're here again?"

You turn your head, Captain Orange held a plate of his favorite pasta as he looked down at you.

"Yeah, I'm not gonna fall over if that's what you're worried about." You smile.

He shakes his head. "No, I actually came to join you." He smiles and sits next to you.

You blush at how close he was to you, yes, you had a giant crush on your Captain.. Very weird I know. But you didn't care. He did save you after all.

It was a comfortable silence, as the wind blew and the waves splashed against the ship.

Orange took a few bites of the pasta before putting the fork to your lips, his cheeks burned again.

You were a little confused but took a bite, it was amazing.

Thats when you realised, one noodle connected your mouths, very similar to that dog movie.

You blushed as well and your mouths got closer and closer to eachother, before Captain orange suddenly got the confidence to kiss you.

And kiss you he did.

His teeth pressed softly against your lips, his hands in your hair.

You felt fireworks go off in your mind before you kissed him back, wrapping your arms around his neck.

You thought you heard Alphys fangirling, but you could be wrong.
