My headcanon Papyrus does have a bit of a crush on Undyne, but since he knows Alphys is going through a rough patch in her life and doesn't want to lose her, so he sort of lets it go. And that, my friends, is how you save a depressed dino's life while also ensuring that your Senpai will never notice you. Rest in peace Papyrus. Then again, he has Chara, whom he loves more, but he can't forget about stuff like this.
