Shortly after Bayley left Becky alone, she really thought about what she said.

What she had told her meant a lot, and she was going to try and put her advice to good use when she needed it.

She wanted to be better but for the time being, she had to get back to work.

She felt like she was being chewed up and spat out when she picked those papers back up, but that was a feeling she would have to get over.

She was sticking with what she told herself about not having feelings for this girl.

Cause she didn't.

Who cares if she was hot? She's found many others hot too, doesn't mean it's a crush. Right?

There was no time to think about that to her as she desperately wanted to think about something else. So, she takes a quick shower in preparation to go and think about it even more.

After she gets out, dries off, and changes, she goes down the stairs and first notices how empty it is.

Not looking at the time and assuming it's the hour where work picks up, she walks for the door to join the rush.

"Hey. You okay?" Alexa greets from the living room, making Becky stop her feet and turn around.

"Yeah, I'm good" she says, making a b-line and walking towards her instead.

"You sure?" She asks, turning on her stool.

Becky looks down, blinking a few times at the floor before moving her gaze back up.

Was she?

"Yes. I'm sure Lexi" Even if she wasn't, she didn't feel like getting into all of that with her.

"Okay. Just making sure" Alexa nods. Becky was almost 70% sure Lexi didn't believe her, but more than anything she was grateful she decided not to press her about it.

That had already happened enough towards her today.

"Thanks. I'm leaving. To search for that girl, I guess" she mutters the last mention as she turns back around to grab her jacket before leaving.

"Okay. Remember, if you find her, and have an opportunity to get close, don't kill her" Alexa reminds her.

"Yeah, yeah, I won't" she calls back out in response. Putting her arms into the jacket she took; she leaves the house without another word.

Making her way to the provided address, Becky places herself far away enough from the exact location to avoid suspicion.

Taking the helmet she wore while riding off, she put it away on the seat and examines the area.

She spots some movement at the location from where she discreetly stood and pokes her head around cautiously.

Then she stops.

Her breath hitches as she spots the one face she needed to see exiting the large upscale house.

"Oh my god" she whispers to herself.

Charlotte steps down the few entryway stairs in an elegant blue dress, accompanied by diamonds in an assortment of sizes.

Walking towards a car, Becky presumes it were bodyguards of some sort she was surrounded by.

After not noticing she was staring like she was, she fumbles to get her phone out and speedily punch in a number.

"Yeah?" Alexa starts to speak.

"She's here, I found her" Becky almost cuts her off she was so eager to tell her.

"Can you to get her??" Alexa immediately stands, eyes opening a bit more at the news.

"No. She's surrounded." she runs her tongue over her teeth and keeps her gaze focused on the blonde.

God, she really was hot. As fuck.

"Okay, is she going anywhere?" Alexa questions her, quickly putting Becky on speaker and grabbing a pen and paper to take note.

"Yeah...she's leaving, um" Becky gulps, making sure she was observing properly and trying not to get off the important topic.

"She's not there yet, but...she's getting in a car. Doesn't seem so urgent"

"Becky, why do you keep pausing?" Alexa raises curiosity at this. What the hell was even going on with Becky lately? She couldn't tell, but she'd hoped it wasn't something ridiculous.

"Mhmm?" Becky responds, not even hearing what she said, but knowing she said something.

"What?" Alexa now puts the phone back up to her  face, keeping it on speaker, "are you even listening?"

"Mhmm" she responds, still oblivious of what Alexa had said.

"Then what did I just say?" she asks, crossing her one free arm under her chest.

No answer.

Lexi mutes herself with the slightest eye roll and turns to Liv who was also in the room.

"Liv, what the hell did you talk about with her? Why is she acting like this?"

"Like what? I wasn't listening" Liv sheepishly answers.

"You either, huh?" Alexa replies with a bit of sarcasm.

"Bex isn't listening to me. She's pausing, her answers are pretty terrible, and I need her focused on the task at hand" she emphasizes.

"Really?" Liv purses her lips with a tiny nod. Carefully thinking for a second, she moves her eyes around the room.

"Can you gimme that for a second? I think I can help you" She declares with some confidence, looking back Alexa's way. Hoping what she would do wouldn't cause another incident like some hours ago.

"Worth a shot" Alexa unmutes the phone before handing it over to Liv, "show what ya got"

"Hey, Becky, how's it going? Your crush lookin' pretty?" Liv speaks into to the phone, Becky snaps out of her trance immediately.

She knew that would do something.

"Hey! Shut up!" Becky says quickly. Pressing her lips together, she tries to recollect herself but fails. Ogling the other woman.

This stuns Alexa. A crush? Not only on a target, but her enemy? That couldn't be true. Becky would never let something like that happen.

"Listen to the boss!" Liv speaks out, "you're here to work you know!"

"I was!" Becky fires back, "swear"

"Okayyy. But, you gotta talk to her, not to me. Toodles!" Liv hands the phone back.

"Thanks, pinky" Lexi takes the phone back, "ready to work?"

Becky rolls her eyes, "I am, y'know"

"And I'm tall" Alexa shoots back.

"Whatever! I'll call you back" Becky grunts in annoyance and hangs up the phone, shoving it away in her pocket.

She shakes herself out of her thoughts and watches the car start and begin to drive off. Seeing this, she had no more excuses left to be distracted.

She quickly puts her helmet back on and starts up her own vehicle, following close behind.
——-
Watching the car stop from afar, she stops her bike once she notices their car slow down.

She takes her helmet off once again and watches Charlotte step out. Beginning to start a conversation with somebody else, she listens in as best as she could from her distance.

"Hey!" Charlotte exclaims "Did I outdo myself? You know how I am. Who cares if this is a practice?" She twirls in the dress—again leaving Becky staring in complete awe.

"-hear that voice, Bex? Imagine how good her moans must sound- could you shut up for once? -If I could? I wouldn't-

She could almost see the smirk that went along with that remark.

"Ignore yourself, Rebecca" she whispers to herself. No way did she have anymore time for her brain to start a second war. Her target was right in front of her and she could get some serious information from just her presence.

"-you can't, and you know it-" now she fumes at herself. Was she really that much of a dick?

Continuing to focus on what she needed to focus on, she swallows a harsh remark from herself—to herself.

"No, it's not? Good" Charlotte lets out a soft chuckle, making Becky start to feel tingly all over. Then, she lets the conversation go on, watching the women go inside the building they spoke in front of a little bit later.

Once she was sure they were gone, she pulls her phone out and dials Alexa's number again.

"Don't tell me you married her" Alexa rolls her eyes. Half playfully—half not.

"Oh, shut the hell up" Becky scowls over the line.

"Feisty, huh? What do you want?" Alexa asks.

She couldn't say she was pleased at the idea of Becky crushing on her enemy, but she could admit it was a little cute to see something different.

The woman was such an emotional recluse that she was happy for her in that way but, she just hoped nothing would get carried out the way.

Nothing better get carried away.

"Updates, you prissy bastard. She's practicing for something" Becky raises a brow and picks at her jeans. Glancing up at the house every couple of seconds.

Not appreciating the moniker, Lexi moves on. "Is she dressed up?"

"Mhm" Becky hums quietly in response.

"Most likely preparing for a party. Later tonight, around 8 at the earliest. Ending when everyone passes out from something fucking stupid" Alexa exhales softly, shaking her head at the memories of past parties.

"How'd you know that?" Becky asked with a stunned squint. She was now sitting behind her bike with the occasional glance over still. In case anything happened.

"I was one of the attendees at one point. You'll either have a good time, or not" she sits down in her office chair.

"Okay. How do you get in?" Becky asks before crossing her legs.

"You gotta have an affiliate. Or, to do it the easier way, you can try and dress the part so they could just slide you in"

"That seems remotely dangerous on their part. Never know if someone with bad intentions will show up, am I right?"

"Well you are, aren't you?" Lexi replies.

"Hell yeah, duh"

"Then it'll be just fine for you. Know this. These stupid parties happen every weekend. If something doesn't go your way, you have next week" Lexi informs. "That deadline I gave you was just a deadline to start. I doubt Mercedes told you that"

"Yeah no, she didn't. If it were a good day, I'm sure she would've" Becky rolls her eyes a little at the back and forth relationship her and Sasha shared.

"'Course not" Lexi whispers a bit, "but yeah, speaking of her, if you wanna get in with those looks, know she can help you"

"I know she can" Becky ponders this, "I'll see" she ends off her part of the conversation.

The two of them stay silent while Becky watches the building with an intense look, and while Alexa thought about if she wanted to bring up the topic she was thinking about.

"I have a question, Bex" she decides to go with it.

"What is it?" The woman trails her finger along the dirt beneath her as she waited for what she had to say.

"All I want is a yes or a no. Do you like Ashley?"

Becky stopped moving her finger and stiffens a bit in her spot, thinking of the words to say; "I don't" she concludes.

Great!

"Really? You've never acted like that before. You know. Very distracted, ignoring seemingly everything. All that, and Liv decided to tell me what she told you right in front of my face" Alexa recalls what happened.

Becky squeezes her eyes shut, not having a way out of this. She really wanted to talk about anything but this.

"Don't fucking—fucking push me right now" she stumbles over her words a little, quickly speaking without thinking about what she said.

"Hey, watch it. I'm still your boss. I was just wondering" Lexi presses her lips together so she wouldn't blurt anything stupid out. She wasn't gonna be much of a bitch, but she just had to know.

"Yeah, yes. Sure you were" Now Becky scowls.

If she wasn't thinking before she was thinking now.

"Now, quit questioning me?" She asks. Not very politely, but she asked.

Alexa is baffled by her attitude. She wasn't expecting her to be so defensive, but the response made her remember exactly who she was talking to.

"You seem really stressed, Becky" Alexa dismisses her rude behavior and switches up the topic a little.

"You can finish this another time. Preferably when you aren't in such a bitchy mood. Come back and calm yourself down. You won't be able to get anything done like this"

This nearly makes Becky laugh. She was in a bitchy mood?

She didn't even know how to respond without potentially getting in trouble so, she wasn't gonna waste more time with this.

"Goodbye" she says before hanging up and putting her phone down. Hopping back onto the bike she rode there, she squeezes the handles tightly.

She needed a distraction and she needed one fast.

Before she starts up the bike, she looks back over at the house that had no activity for a while and spots the blonde that's been confusing the hell out of her strutting back out.

She doesn't break her stare as Charlotte suddenly glances up. Unintentionally meeting her eyes, a short but intense gaze is shared between them.

Becky freezes—unable to move—her mouth goes dry.

Charlotte noticed her just as much before growing a small smile that Becky swore switched to a smirk in her direction. Quickly looking back ahead of her, she continues her path.

Becky breaks her gaze with the now empty space to directly in front of her.

Feeling her pants getting more uncomfortable by the second, she wonders for a second if this was her mind playing tricks, or if she really wanted something.

She started the bike up and nearly shoved her helmet back over her head once she made her decision.

Now she knew how she would distract herself.
