The Magician's Cruel Anger

Happy birthday to Anti 💚 Just like said I would, I drew the glitch-boy! What you guys think? You can click on it to see the full image. Please do not repost or steal, though. Thnx :)

'Dammit, Marvin!' Jackie thought to himself, 'Don't you see you're ruining everything!? I got this! Why don't you trust me!?'

The magician turned his gaze over to Anti and the glitch put himself in a defensive position.

Anti's eyes glowed and sparks flung off of him, "I've  been waiting for the chance to fight you again, kitty"

Marvin snarled at him, "Fight is a loose term. I'll knock you on your ass soon enough, you filthy parasite"

Jackie didn't know what to do at the moment. On one hand, he really didn't think Anti had the glove and he didn't want to truly fight him. He was just planning on goading him a little, get into a little fight and run off. All that was going to happen was a quick meeting so Anti would stop trying to continuously find him!

"You probably have enough parasites as it is, don't ya fleabag!?" Anti shot back.

Marvin fought the urge to hiss at him and instead glared over to Jackie, "And as for you! What are you thinking, Jackie!? You said your mission would be quick! You've been ignoring the city and its people for weeks! Weeks! When will it end!?"

Jackie was upset. If Marvin kept talking, he'd give away his other identity.

And he couldn't have that.

"Stay out of my business, Marvin! As if you or any of the others know what I've been going through!" he scoffed, "This little meeting is over. I'm done here"

He tried to walk away but Anti's knife suddenly lunged at his feet, sticking up from the roof tile.

"Oh no, you don't, Red! You're gonna tell me what you did with Blood-streak! Where is he!?"

"He's fine, you fucking idiot! What do you care anyway!? You'd probably kill the guy eventually anyway"

"Fuck off! As if any of YOU asshole precious 'Septic' egos know me at all! Don't pretend like you do! I'll kill you all!"

"Then don't pretend as if YOU know ME! I'm fucking sick and tired of people always telling me what I am or what I should do and be! I'm fucking done! I'M DONE!" Jackie practically screamed.

Marvin and Anti stood equally stunned.

Marvin, however, was more . . . . . angry.

"You always tell me to be the good guy, Jackie. You always tell ME what I should and should not do . . ..  and here you are acting like this. . . .. like a lost puppy. Fine then . . . . . . your mission is over. I'll take over now. Leave Anti and I be now before I decided to fucking teleport you into an ocean because you KNOW I will, Jackie! THIS ISN'T A GAME!"

"I never said it was!"

But Marvin had had enough and lost his temper, flinging his arm to cast a spell.

Anti watched in shock as Jackie was shot off the roof in that swipe.

And Marvin didn't even flinch.

Anti was worried now. . . . .  did he really just hurt his own brother? Jackie didn't have his grappling hook on him. . . .

He was about to peer over the edge to see if he could see his body or any blood below but Marvin appeared in front of him, making him glitch.

"Now then. Since he's finally out of the way . . . . where is the fucking glove, Anti?"

'WHAT!?'

"A . ..  a glove? The hell are you talking about, you senile bastard!? You just flung your own brother off a roof because of a fooking GLOVE!? And they all say I'M insane!"

Marvin clutched his hair suddenly and pulled his face up to look him in the eyes. His pupils were slit, making him look even more threatening, "It's not just a normal glove, you dumbass! You hacked into my black market and stole it now WHERE IS IT!?"

"I don't know what you're talking about!"

"Fine then . . . ." Marvin shoved him to the ground so he landed on his back, "Guess we'll have to do this the hard way"

The magician was done waiting. Done messing around.

Jackie had managed to catch himself on the side of the building before slipping down through the alley, landing on his back.

"Guh!" his spine practically bounced off the pavement, "Fuck . . . . . M-marv"

Slowly, he managed to pick himself up in a sitting position and stared upwards.

Above him, he could see flashes of light along with the clouds getting more dense and darker.

'Great. . . . . they're fighting' Jackie took a deep breathe before forcing himself on his feet, leaning on the building's wall.

'I shouldn't have taunted Anti.' he thought to himself, 'I should have just left it as it was. I should have kept my cool. . . hell, I shouldn't have even shown up at all!'

He had an inkling that Anti wouldn't have actually killed that kid.

Jackie remembered seeing the fear in Anti's eyes when he broke. When he got angry.

Had Anti really never seen him like that before?

And to have said that about Blood-streak. . . . Jackie didn't think Anti actually gave a shit about him. That persona. . . . it wasn't meant to mean anything important in the first place.

'I guess to Anti . . . . . he means a lot'

Jackie shoved off his backpack that he always wore with this red suit.

It was risky but inside of it was something both Marvin and Anti wouldn't be expecting.

Marvin shot off a powerful blast at Anti, making him skid across the roof trying to block it.

He tried his best to use his own power against the magician's but it was clear that Marvin and Jackie had always been Sean's favorite egos.

Why did they deserve to get so much power?! It wasn't fair! Really, it wasn't even fair to the others, either but for now, Anti was more concerned about himself.

In a quick moment when Anti was trying to recover, Marvin appeared in front of him and slapped him across the face, slashing him with his sharp nails.

"Gahha!" Anti covered the area, wincing as it burnt, "Bastard! I'll-!"

Marvin shoved him on his back and held a hand over him.

Anti's eyes widened as Marvin twitched his fingers and a sudden jolt of pain ran through him.

The glitch tried to teleport away but his whole body was tensed and his nerves burned like fire.

"Ahahhhhaaaaa" Anti whimpered just barely from the intense pain, his mouth agape. He was unable to actually scream but he was at least grateful for that.

Marvin didn't even give him any pity. His face his held nothing in his eyes but irritation.

"I'll ask again, glitch-bitch . . . . . Where. Is. . . .  the glove?"

Marvin stopped the spell and Anti gasped for air, clutching his chest and stomach. Anti found himself curling into a ball.

'I never knew . . . never knew he was so fooking powerful. He's never fought like this before. . . then again, neither has Jackie'

Anti rolled over on his stomach, feeling the urge to puke but kept it down, "F-fuck off, pussy-cat! . . ..  I don't know . . . don't know what the fook you're talking about!"

Marvin lost his patience and suddenly kicked him roughly in his side, "Alright if you want to play like that"

Marvin then took out something he recognized and the magician saw the look in his eyes, "Recognize this? What? Did you think I just made one? I'd need a backup weapon to take YOU out"

He pointed the taser at him and pulled the trigger.

At once, Anti was on his back again, shuddering and seizing. Who knew ALL of the Septic egos could be so cruel!?

But Anti wasn't about to beg. He took it like a champ, even if it did hurt like living hell.

Anti couldn't keep it in forever, though and finally, he belted out a scream, making Marvin smirk just barely. He never got any satisfaction from hurting ANYONE. . . .. but hearing Anti's pain made him feel better.

He deserved it after everything he's done to the Septics and other innocents, right?

This was his sentence.

Finally, he stopped the taser but it wasn't enough for him.

Marvin remembered how Anti had choked Henrik nearly to death. How he had almost caused Chase to shoot himself in the head. How he manipulated and used Jameson as a mindless puppet. He had tried hurting Jackie. Tried to steal his magic.

He had sliced Sean's throat. . . . not that the creator remembered or knew anything about them.

Marvin had made sure about that.

But what was a little revenge after all that Anti had done?

Marvin made a small knife appear in his hand, "You like knives, don't you Anti?"

Anti couldn't even glitch anymore. He was wiped out.

But he refused to show fear. He was used to that sort of pain, after all.

Anti shut his eyes tight as Marvin leaned down next to him and gripped his hair roughly to bare his throat to him.

Marvin dragged the knife along Anti's old scar and the glitch only barely twitched but he could still feel it. He never knew  . . . . .

'Thought they were all supposed to be good?'

Marvin only got half-way through the scar, though when someone kicked him across the roof.

Anti barely registered what was happening but didn't question it.

The magician looked up to see a man in black and red lift and heave Anti's arm around his shoulders.

"N-no . . . ." Marvin couldn't believe it, "Y-you're joking . . ..  HIM!? You're saving HIM?!"

Blood-streak didn't utter a word to him. He just wrapped Anti securely in his arms before jumping off the roof, running off away from Marvin who was honestly still surprised at the intervention.

Anti was too weak to move, really but looked up at his savior, "Y-you . . . you saved me?"

Blood-streak bounced off of the walls of the downtown area until they were well out of Marvin's sight and reach. Jackie was careful how he spoke next.

"Of course. Why wouldn't I help you out. . .. partner?"

Anti didn't have anything to say about that but felt safe enough to lose consciousness in his arms. It was clear now that Anti trusted him. He cared for him and even though Jackie knew he probably would never admit it, he knew Anti felt that brotherly connection in some way.

Marvin watched them go but he let them.

He had to think about what just happened.

He lost his temper, that was for sure.

He lost his cool and tortured Anti.

Marvin wasn't pleased that he did. Didn't that make him just as bad as him?

He thought of what Jackie had said weeks ago to him.

'I have to take responsibility for my own mistakes' he thought to himself, 'Even if Jackie won't take his own advice now, I have to. It's . . . .the right thing to do'

Marvin picked himself up and sighed, 'I shouldn't have lost control like that with him. . . .  with either of them. . .but Jackie really hasn't been making it easy. This isn't about any of our emotions'

If Anti didn't want to tell him willingly or by force, then he'd have to take drastic measures. He didn't have anymore time to just waste playing this game.

'I'll talk to Host. Maybe he'll have a clue to what I could do about this'

Jackie was used to taking care of his own wounds. He had done it many times  and most of those instances, Anti himself was the giver of those wounds.

He laid Anti down on his bed in his own apartment and set to work. The first thing he did was clean and wrap up his neck wound.

'Can't believe Marvin actually did this. Maybe he isn't as harmless as I thought. Perhaps he goes beyond just buying and selling dangerous products.'

Anti winced as he wrapped the gauze around his neck but he quietly hushed him, running a hand through his hair to try and soothe him.

It seemed to work and he fell back asleep in a deep slumber.

Jackie sighed and went back to cleaning his other wounds, including the scratch Marvin had left with his nails on Anti's cheek. It looked fire red and Jackie knew he had to disinfect it at least.

He couldn't do much against the aftermath of Marvin's spells and the taser, but he could at least wash him up to get the dried blood off of him.

Honestly, he felt bad for Anti.

'He doesn't have the glove. He would have gloated to Marvin about it somehow. He would have used it by now to even hurt me earlier but he didn't'

Anti wasn't the person he should be going after.

But then, who was?

Happy Birthday to Anti btw! Sorry this chapter is Anti getting beat up though 😅
