"What are you gonna do, Jackie?"

Marvin asked the question again, bringing Jackie out of his thoughts.

He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck, "I uh . . . . I don't know"

Now the magician really wasn't expecting THAT.

"Hold up, wait. You don't KNOW!? What do you mean you don't know?! At least go after Anti or something!"

"I don't even know where he is or lives, Marv. Plus we can't just accuse him right out of the gate. It could really be anyone"

"Actually no, it can't" Marvin crossed his arms, "My black market is secure as fuck. No run of the mill hacker can just get through and buy whatever the hell they want, Jackie! It was Anti, I'm sure of it!"

"Okay, okay" Jackie didn't want to admit it but it didn't look good for Anti. He never thought he'd be so psychotic as to kill so many people at once but he couldn't wave Anti off to NOT be a suspect.

"Give me some time. I'll lure Anti out somehow. I'll do whatever I can to get that glove back, Marv, alright?"

The magician didn't look impressed but couldn't complain. He groaned and huffed, "Fine. I'll leave it to you, then"

Jackie snorted, "Who else would you leave it to?"

"Shut up"

Jackie looked around the basement, eyeing all the strange things Marvin had collected, bought and was intending to sell, "Man, you're a hoarder, you know that? Get rid of all this shit and NOT by selling, Marv. Fucking throw it out or I will."

"I know, I know." the magician grumbled and pat his shoulder.

Suddenly they were back at his apartment and Marvin winked, "You never set a specific time as to when, though"

Before he could retaliate, Marvin vanished, leaving him alone once more.

Alone to think about what the hell to do about that stupid glove.

"Fucking magician" he rolled his eyes, 'What can I do? Like I told Marv, I have no idea where Anti goes when he's not fighting me. He could be living in a fucking computer for all I know!'

He thought about luring him out somehow but Anti was like a cat in that regard. He'd show himself whenever and if he wanted. There's no guarantee he'd-

Then an idea struck him.

'What if I swing something in front of him he wants?'

The idea was risky but he'd never tried anything like it before. It could work and Anti might not expect it.

The hero manipulating the villain to trap him? Not very hero-like or goody goody like Anti was used to him being.

'But what could he want besides the glove IF he even has it?'

Anti, meanwhile, had visited all of the egos except for Marvin and Jackie. He was upfront with Jameson but Henrik and Chase, he merely watched from afar, paying close attention to what they were doing.

He told himself it was recon but really he was just curious and bored.

Usually he'd hear of the hero being around somewhere in the city saving someone from something but it was different today.

Not a word.

He was curious to see if Jackie was hanging around the father egos and the kids but from what he could see from his stalking, that wasn't the case. Chase was working and the kids were with a babysitter and the doctor was hard at work at the clinic with some patients. The usual.

'Where is that bastard?' he nearly pouted to himself, 'He wasn't THAT badly injured. I mean, I'm walking around just fine so he should be perfectly healed by now!'

He'd go to either Jackie or Marvin's place to stalk on them but unfortunately, he didn't know where either lived. Jackie was very secretive on that manner and Marvin kept illusions up so he wouldn't be tracked.

In short, he just had to wait.

'Or' he thought to himself with a grin, 'I could stir up some trouble. Never told those idiots when they were up, after all. I still got some time and if Mr. Mafia gang-boss gets all huffy, I can threaten him. Shouldn't be too much of a problem'

Making up his mind, Anti slunk off to do what he did best.

It suddenly hit Jackie.

The perfect way to figure out if Anti had the glove or not.

It was unorthodox but he was prepared.

To get the villain, he had to think like one but he wouldn't go so far as to become it.

It would be the perfect way to disguise him as well to make sure Anti didn't try anything too brash just to spite him.

He had to disguise himself.

Jackie was already disguised if he was in his citizen wear because of Marvin's magic but he didn't want him to recognize THAT person, either.

'Marvin has a lot more shit in that stash of his, too' he thought to himself, 'If Anti really did steal that glove then surely he'd be interested in other powerful magical items?'

It was very risky luring Anti out with even MORE weapons he could use against them but nothing was as strong already as the glove. But did Anti know that? Surely he had to, right?

'That could be a factor, too' he thought to himself, 'But first I need to put this plan together. I know where Marvin lives now so it  shouldn't be a problem to get some of that stuff. And as for a disguise. . . . .'

Jackie knew the perfect person he could go to to make him one!

After Anti's visit, Jameson closed up the tailoring shop early, sending his interpreter/assistant home as well. He just didn't feel right, hoping Anti wouldn't do anything too bad in the near future this time. It had been a while since he had possessed him or hurt any of the others. Really, his most recent target was Jackie.

'Perhaps he feels entertained by him?' Jameson thought to himself, 'He's always loved a challenge'

Being possessed by him, he knew a lot more about him than most. He felt torn sometimes between him and his other brother because he knew Anti wasn't as bad as he made himself out to be. Or at least, that's what he hoped he saw.

It was complicated.

Tallying up the numbers for the day, Jameson sat at his desk, doing the figuring when there was a knock on  the front door.

'Hopefully they can read and see the closed sign right in front of them'

But obviously that wasn't the case and the knocking continued.

Jameson sighed and finally picked himself up, walking out of his office only to see Jackie himself at the front.

In a slight panic, the mute bolted for the door, opened it and pulled him inside. The last thing he needed was for Anti to see Jackie at his business right after he visited.

"Hey James!" Jackie grinned, "It's been a bit since the hospital, huh? How are ya?"

Jameson blinked at him before signing slowly, 'Been better to be honest but it's no matter. What can I do for you?'

"I noticed you closed your shop early and I don't want to bother you but I had a favor to ask of you if you don't mind?"

Jameson looked him up and down at the dirty clothes he was wearing, 'I'd suggest going to buy different clothes. There's no fixing what you have on'

Jackie actually looked offended, "Oh uh . . .. that's not actually . . . what I mean is I need a new suit and I was wondering if you could do the job?"

Jameson blushed, embarrassed at the confusion, 'I see! I apologize. . . . . What's wrong with your other suit? Any rips or tears I need to fix?'

He shrugged, "It's fine. I just need another one for something different. Um. . " he wasn't sure if he should say anything but he trusted Jameson, "I'm going to be doing something in disguise and I didn't want people to recognize this character as  . . ..  me. You get what I mean?"

Jameson was certainly surprised but nodded, 'I understand. Something completely different from you, than or your usual brand? Any colors in mind?'

Jackie chuckled, "Nah, get creative with it, James. I trust ya. You have my measurements, right? Just make it look good"

'That, I can do!' he silently laughed, 'You want a hood for this one as well or no?'

"Eh, let's not. I want it to be as different as possible."

'You got it! I have something in mind already!'

Jackie could tell Jameson was already getting excited about it and that made it all the more better. He was getting excited himself. He couldn't wait to see what Jameson had in store for him.

Would this be enough to fool the glitch?

The next day, Anti began stirring up as much trouble as he could to lure the hero out.

'Robbing a bank is the perfect way to lure Mr. Robin Hood out'

He made his way to the bank and to their ATMs, ignoring the three cars piling up in the drive thru behind him. He just smirked as one man honked his horn at him.

Anti tapped his fingers on the money box, agitating the angry man even further. He rolled his window down and yelled at him.

"Hey dumbass! Get out of the fucking way! If you're not gonna use it, piss off!"

The one car in the back drove out, not wanting to get involved but the other two both started honking their horns at him.

"Oh I'm using it, alright" Anti grinned and electricity suddenly snapped around the ATM, shooting out money like crazy.

"What the fuck!?" the angry man was surprised but suddenly realized who he was and started to panic, backing up into the other car behind him. Unfortunately, the air bags went off, though and they were trapped in the drive thru, waiting for the police to arrive.

Anti laughed and managed to collect a  grand from the ATM, disappearing and glitching up to the roof of the bank before the police could spot him.

There on the roof, he sat cross-legged counting the money, waiting for Jackie to arrive and scold him. Fight him, even.

He waited a good half hour before finally realizing he wasn't showing up.

'That's odd' he thought to himself, stuffing the money in his pockets, 'Usually he'd be attacking me within seconds with how he flies around this damn city. Where the fuck is he?'

Grumbling to himself, seeing the police drive away, he growled and decided to try something else.

'I need to lure him with something bigger, then. Something that'll get him pissed off for sure.'

Anti then resorted to robbing an art museum. Of course he didn't actually steal it but it made it look like he did. He had zapped himself in and teleported in and out on top of the roof again and again, making it look like he was getting away with them!

He kept everything on the roof, though for a while. He wouldn't really steal art. He had a special liking for art and couldn't bring himself to damage or take any of it actually away.

He didn't know why but he appreciated the work put into most of the pieces and after over an hour of waiting on the stupid hero, he finally glitched everything back to its rightful place.

Anti was getting really pissed off now though.

Seething and boiling under his skin.

He ran his hands through his hair and scratched the scar on his neck, "Fucking son of a bitch!"

He started pacing, visibly upset with the situation. How could he not show up? What was going on!? Was he missing something? Was the hero hurt more than he thought?

Anti was losing it and honestly he didn't understand why. Why should he be freaked out by this? Why shouldn't he be glad the hero was staying out of his way?

But he wasn't. He was livid, lightening zapping around him and he glitched like mad, his heart pounding, fists clenched.

He couldn't fucking understand.

He couldn't take it.

"WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU!?"
