Partner In Crime?
Trigger Warning!- This chapter contains gore. Trigger warning will be labeled below
Jackie walked in the abandoned computer warehouse in his black and red suit. Or as Anti called it, blood-streaked.
'Hasn't been long since Anti and I fought here. Then that earthquake happened. Hope he hasn't figured it out already and set me up' Jackie was sweating already.
He tried to keep reminding himself what him and Marvin planned but it was hard to keep his mind in one place with how anxious he was.
He kept trying to keep it together, though.
Give Anti the taser. Tell him he snuck it out of the gang's clutches and that it was the only one of its kind. Marvin had placed a sort of tag on it to mark it as such. They had to make this as believable as possible but the rest had to come from Jackie's end if he could sell it.
Then the next step was secretly placing a tracker on Anti so it'd be easier to follow him. Then he could find out a lot faster where that glove was. If he even had. If Anti didn't . . . . .. he didn't know who it could possibly be then.
Over and over, Jackie thought this all through, nodding to himself.
Unbeknownst to him, a curious glitch was watching him from the rafters. You'd think Jackie would have known from their last encounter?
Anti had never been so curious about someone that wasn't an ego before.
But here he was, watching the man intently. What was his game? What did he possibly want?
Did he really want to help him? And why?
Why was that cat so important to him?
Why did Anti secretly miss that cat? He hoped it was doing okay, oddly enough.
'Well sitting up here all night watching him isn't going to answer my questions' he finally came to that conclusion, standing up on one of the beams, 'Let's see how high I can make him jump'
Anti glitched down to meet him, standing behind Jackie, still as a statue. He waited for the man to turn around but he just stupidly stayed still in that spot. . . . waiting for him.
Over a minute passed and Anti was losing his patience, 'Is this guy that oblivious?'
But Jackie knew. He could feel him as soon as he glitched but he wanted Anti to come to him so he didn't acknowledge him. That, and it was a fun way to piss him off 'unintentionally'.
Finally Anti had enough and growled out, "Hey Fuck-face!"
Jackie didn't flinch but turned towards him, "I was wondering when you'd show up"
Anti glared at him, "Can't tell if you're brave or stupid. Both are bad qualities to have as a . . . . what did you call it? Neutral?" he started walking around him almost in a stalking manner, "Although I'd say doing things all and only for yourself would make you more of a neutral villain, correct? That's the description you used, after all"
Jackie shrugged, "I guess. It doesn't matter, really. Now do you want your info or not?"
Anti snarled but stopped walking around him, coming to stand directly in front of him, glitching a tad, "Hmph. . . . . what do you have?"
"I said I'd help you with your problem" Jackie reached into his pocket, making Anti tense, standing more defensively, "Easy there, glitchy" Anti bared his teeth at the nickname but allowed him to continue.
But when Jackie pulled out the taser, Anti's eyes went wide. Immediately, he glitched up into the rafters away from him, "Motherfucker! I knew it! You've come to try and kill me yourself, haven't you!?"
"What?" Jackie was genuinely freaked out. Was he really so distrustful? "No, no, you misunderstand. I'm giving it to you!"
"Oh I bet you are!"
Jackie sighed and threw the taser on the ground a few yards away from him, "There. You happy?"
Anti merely glitched back down and practically pounced on the taser, picking it up and examining it.
Jackie swallowed, hoping the bait would work.
Anti eyed the object, turning it every which way.
Until he spotted something interesting.
'This mark. . . . . gives off a strange feeling.'
He narrowed his eyes and looked up to Jackie who was tensing under his mask.
Anti suddenly smirked, "Looks legit. . . . Wanna test it with me?"
"Uh . . . .. what?"
The glitch took a few steps forward towards him, still smirking, his eyes gleaming neon, "Oh not on ourselves. Don't be ridiculous"
"Oh. . . . then ho-"
Suddenly Anti glitched up to his face with a scary grin. He gripped him tightly and teleported them out of the warehouse!
Next thing he knew, Jackie blinked and looked around where he was, Anti still gripping him.
In front of them were a group of people in a small room. It looked like they had interrupted a small meeting. Jackie's breathing picked up as he realized where he was.
Guns were strewn about. Piles of money. Packets of drugs.
The gang members that screwed Anti over looked at the two in both shock and terror.
The leader looked about ready to piss himself but swallowed thickly, trying to reach into his pocket for something.
Anti grinned and waved the taser in the air in front of the, "Looking for this bad boy?"
"How did you-!"
They didn't have the time to finish their sentence as Anti pulled the trigger on the taser, shooting it at a random person.
Jackie watched in horror under the mask as the man suddenly dropped and convulsed on the ground, going still very quickly. Dead.
Anti grinned wider, "Well I'll be damned! It IS the same taser! You know I really wasn't for sure but now that I do. . ."
"Please wait!" the leader pleaded with him, knowing what he could do to him, "I-I didn't mean it! I swear! It won't happen again!"
"You're damn right it won't" Anti glanced to Jackie and laughed, "Watch and learn from a true master villain"
Jackie wanted to intervene. He wanted to stop him but at the same point, these men were wanted criminals AND he was too close to maybe finding the glove!
The leader was on his knees, "Please! I'll give you whatever you want! Money, girls, drugs! You got it, man! Just name it!"
Anti twirled around the taser with a sudden frown, his mood changing again, "You think I'm going to kill you with this, Vick? Yeah, I know your name. . . . No, no, no. That's not my forte, friend"
The leader gulped, looking hopeful but Jackie knew better. He saw the bloodlust in his eyes.
Although. . . it was much scarier in person, he'd admit.
"Pl-please, I'll-"
"Shut up." Anti interrupted him, "I wasn't finished talking. That's certainly rude of you, my friend"
"I'm sorry" he mumbled but Anti let that one go.
"You see. . . . it's not my forte in such a way that . . ." he suddenly crushed the taser into pieces in his hand, "A weapon like this isn't my style for killing"
'Well shit, there goes the tracker' Jackie was hoping Anti would keep the taser as he and Marvin placed a special tracker on it to tell where he was. But it looked like he'd have to figure out a different way. He had another tracker in his pocket. If he got close enough to him . . he could stick it on him later!
Trigger Warning
Anti glitched in front of another person in the room and stabbed them in the stomach with a knife, slicing it gruesomely up to their chest, blood and guts pouring out of them.
The others in the room shook in fear and gaped at the disgusting sight.
They were all too scared to even move. That and . .. Anti would just glitch before them and kill them anyway. What the use in running?
The leader cried shamelessly, "P-please"
Anti merely wiped the blood off the knife on the dead man's clothes, "I much prefer a knife. . . . sinking it into someone's soft body . . . . ." he grinned like a demon, "It just . . . feels SO good, you know!?"
The others' deaths were all much quicker and Jackie could only close his eyes, trying his best not to intervene. He wanted to. He really did but also . . . . didn't these men . . . .d-deserve it?
They did, didn't they?
At least, that's what Jackie kept telling himself. He had never actually seen so much blood before. Entrails sprawled about carelessly.
He wanted to puke. He always knew Anti was monstrous but . . . . to this level?
The men hadn't gone out without a fight and tried shooting at Anti but it was all for nothing. With his glitching, the bullets went right through him and Jackie was far enough away that they seemed to have forgotten about him.
Anti stood in front of the sobbing leader who laid on the floor like a child. It was rather pathetic of him but at this point, did it even matter?
Anti scoffed at him and used the soaking knife to lift his chin up, "Look me in the eyes, Vicky-boy" he chuckled madly.
Vick shook and sobbed but did as he was told. What else could he do?
"Now I'm gonna ask you a simple question . . .. and you're gonna answer me . . .got it? If you do. . I just might let you go"
"Y-yes. . . wh-what is it? I'll tell you anything!"
"Who sold you the taser?"
"I . . " the man swallowed thickly, "I . . . I don't know . .. it was dark. He. . .he didn't show his face. But I thought. . . He did. ." he took a panicked breathe, "He wore a suit!"
Anti snarled and nodded, "Good boy, Vick."
Vick looked relieved for a moment.
"You die like a man tonight, my friend" Anti roughly stabbed his knife into the man's chest.
Vick gave out a shout but was cut off as Anti wrenched it around and pulled it out harshly.
The man shivered and gave out little gasps but in moments . . .. he was dead.
Trigger Warning End
Jackie really wasn't surprised.
But he felt sick to his stomach to have witnessed it all.
His only giveaway was his fists clenching unconsciously.
Anti wiped off his knife again and turned towards him, noticing him tensing. The glitch huffed at him, "Oh don't look so pitiful for the bastards. They deserved it"
"Deserved it?" Jackie knew they probably did but he didn't want to have that mindset. No . . . anyone could be good in their own mind, right? Perhaps these men though they were the good guys in their own right? They just wanted money for their families and didn't see any other option than to-
Anti interrupted his though process, "They have killed, beaten, tortured and raped many people. They participated in sex trafficking and hacking into unsuspecting people's bank accounts to steal everything they ever had. Yes . . .. they deserved what I did to them and don't you ever think any different, Blood-streak"
Blood-streak . . . ah yes. He had almost forgotten about the nickname Anti had bestowed upon him.
Anti glared at him, obviously not liking how quiet he was all of a sudden, "Hey dumbass! What's with you? Never seen a shoot-out before? Never see blood!?" he grinned for a second but frowned, rolling his eyes, "You really are just an ignorant buffoon, aren't you? Talking so tough before about yourself like you've faced the whole world!"
Jackie looked up at him, "Uh . . . . I've never-"
"I noticed. . . . " but Anti then smiled at him, "I guess this could be a sort of initiation into the world of villainy, hm!?" he chuckled, "You wanted to meet with me. You kept following me around. You thought I was some careless drunk bad-guy on the street always seemingly getting into trouble?"
Honestly, Jackie wanted to say 'yes' but Anti continued.
"I'm more capable than you realize. But I like you . . . . I think you have more to offer me, kid" he put up his knife in his pants pocket and glitched up to him.
This time, Jackie flinched and Anti almost seemed . . . . worried about that.
He glitched them out of the building and back to the warehouse. Anti backed off and tapped his foot, crossing his arms, "How'd you get the taser from them?"
Jackie cleared his throat, realizing now that he hadn't spoken in a while, "I uh . . . I found their base and. . . and swiped it from them when they went out"
Evidently, his lie was believable as Anti still thought he was shaky from the murders that just took place. He wasn't all wrong.
"Easy there, Fuck-face. I'm not going to kill you. You haven't given me reason to. Those men deserved it. All there is to it. Would you rather they get away with everything they've done without penance!?"
"So you're their judge and executioner? Is that it?" Jackie got brave and Anti huffed.
"Someone has to be. The system is rigged and fucked over. Most of the men Red Riding Hood's put away get out on bail. Not like the police would tell him that, though. Almost pitiful, really"
This was news to Jackie.
It was. . .. rather upsetting, actually.
Jackie was still, thinking to himself back to Abe's office and the argument they had. The argument he and Chase had just yesterday.
Anti noticed he was lost in his own head and sighed, smirking to himself, "You know what, you remind me of someone. Almost. . . . . His mannerisms, anyway. . . the way he talks.. . . . . Actually, there is one more thing you could help me with, Blood-streak"
Jackie was shoved out of his thoughts as Anti charged for him, grinning as he put his hands on his shoulders and shook him a little, "You could be my partner in crime!"
Jackie was taken aback but it seemed as though perhaps Anti had pity for him, thinkin he was traumatized from what had just transpired, "P-partner?"
"Yeah!" Anti actually looked like a cute puppy, all excited to play, "Think about it! We both do our own things but maybe you could help me out one more time. . . . and I could help you! Whaddya say!?"
Jackie had to admit, this was his perfect chance. This was the moment he needed.
For now, he swallowed his pride and morals, gripping Anti's shoulders as well, "Alright, you have a deal! On one condition that you don't kill me . . ."
Jackie placed the tracker from his pocket onto the back of Anti's neck subtly and thankfully, he didn't seem to notice.
Anti grinned devilishly at him, showing his teeth, "Now why would I kill a dear new friend of mine?"
Jackie had several concerns about how he used the word 'friend' so carelessly.
But the glitch broke away from him giggled maniacally, "First thing's first, my friend. . . I need your help finding a few people. And in return . . . I'll help you with whatever YOU need. Deal?"
He held out his hand to shake and Jackie was reluctant at first but took his hand as confidently as he could, "Deal. Who are we looking for?"
Anti darkened, "The man in the suit. . . .." he suddenly smirked, "BOTH of them. Oh! And a magician!"
Jackie had a worried feeling that one of the people in a suit was him but he kept his mouth shut.
This was going to be a rough time.
"S-sure!"
