"A long time ago, when Sareena was just born, she got a very bad illness." "You ask how bad was the sickness." "Pretty bad."
Years Ago
Gaster's Wife POV
"It's a girl Mrs. Gaster!" The doctor said. I was so happy, I've always wanted a girl. They handed me her in a little blue blanket. She was beautiful. She looked at me and started giggling. "Papyrus and Sans will love you my little silly bone!" She started laughing even harder. I smiled and kissed her on the forehead. "Would you like me to get your husband?" I nodded and thanked him.
After a few minutes, my husband came running through the door. "Where is my daughter?!" I giggled and held her up so he could see her. He gasped and quickly grabbed her. "She looks just like you and Sans!" "Oh yes, but look behind her neck." He pulled down the blanket and looked at her neck. "No way!" I giggled. "Yes honey. She will be a great scientist one day with her father!" Gaster laughed and waved his fingers around Sareena, making her laugh. Just then, Sareena started coughing. "Oh my, are you sick already?" Gaster said, pressing his hand against Sareena's forhead. "She's burning hot!" Gaster shouted. I quickly pressed the hospital service button. "Yes, what do you need?" One of the hospital people asked. "Sareena is very sick please get here quick!" "But she's so young, we'll be there soon."
A doctor came rushing in and grabbed Sareena from Gaster. "Yes indeed, she is sick," The doctor said, examining her. "But how?" I asked. "I don't know. I'll inspect her, I'll be back," The doctor replied, taking Sareena with him out of the room. "I hope it's no the same thing that happened to Sans." Gaster looked at me worried and sighed. "I hope not."
After awhile a nurse came in looking a bit upset. "What's wrong with my child?" I asked. She sighed, in a very sad way. "She has a very bad sickness and....she must not touch light." "What do you mean by that?!" Gaster shouted. "I'm sorry sir but, her soul is to weak to handle to much sun or energy." "Is there anything we can do to fix this?" I asked. She thought a minute then nodded. "But, there will be some problems." "What?" Gaster asked, looking a bit curios. "Someone will have to loose there life in the process." I laid there silent. After a few moments of silence, Gaster said, "I will sacrifice myself for her." I got off my bed and hugged him. "No please! She needs you!" Gaster hugged me and replied, "But she needs you more." I cried into his chest, and didn't let go of him. "I'll leave you two so you can decide," The nurse said, walking out. "Please, don't leave me," I said, sobbing. He patted my head, trying to relax me. "What would Sans and Papyrus think?" He asked. "About what?" I asked back. "Their sister, dying so quickly." I stood silent. "I-I don't know." "Exactly," He said, looking me straight in the eyes. "I-" "MOTHER!" I heard a voice say. I looked at the door and saw my two boys. "sorry, he couldn't hand-le it." Papyrus stomped his foot and groaned. "REALLY SNANS?!" I laughed. "Boys, boys. Calm down." "Yes, we need to talk to you," Gaster said, grabbing my hands. "YES MOTHER? YES FATHER?" Papyrus said, sitting on my bed. "yeah, what's up?" Sans then asked, sitting next to Papyrus. "You're sister is-" "OH NO! WAT'S YONG?" Papyrus shouted, sounding worried. "pappy, let them talk," Sans said, putting his hand on Papyrus' head. Papyrus sighed and looked at me and Gaster. "You're sister is, okay," Gaster said. "But not very well," I finished. "why? what's wrong?" Sans asked, putting his hand around Papyrus. "She has a very weak soul, one that she can't even handle light," Gaster answered. Sans looked at the ground, with a dead face. "So, I must help," Gaster added. "WAT DOOS THAT MEAN?" Papyrus asked. "Daddy has to go," I answered, beginning to cry. "don't tell me he has to-" Sans started, crying. "Yes," Gaster said, hugging the two. Papyrus seemed confused, but began to cry anyways. "IS DADDY GOING TO COME BACK?" "Of course my great Papyrus," Gaster said, grabbing me into the hug. "Have you decided?" A nurse asked, opening the door. "Yes ma'am."
