Chapter 8: Chapel of Love (Mature)
When I think of all the years I want to be with Tom, my heart aches. I want to wake up every morning for the rest of my life with him in my bed, and that is precisely what I plan to do. No matter how long or short it may be.
For a while, I felt like I was rushing him. He assured me time and time again that he couldn't wait for us to say, 'I do'. It's cliché, I know, but my forever won't nearly be enough for him. He always puts me first, and I'll forever be grateful for that.
The sky was blue, the sun was shining brightly and there were no clouds in sight. The air was warm, which made my skin feel a-glow. The birds were singing, as if they knew how amazing of a day this was going to be. A day where Tom and I will proclaim our love for each other. I will love him until the end of time, where I will be his and he will be mine.
We had never been one for tradition. We didn't have the time or the funds for a typical wedding. I was fine with going to the courthouse, but Tom was the one who wanted something a little more memorable. He took care of all the legal stuff, which was great because I had no idea what to do. He made me wait until the next Saturday when he had the day off, and he drove me to the surprise he planned for us.
Metropolis is very close to the Pacific Ocean. He drove us to the furthest edge of land where I noticed a couple of people standing around wearing nice clothes. I squinted softly and recognized one of them as Tom's best friend, Doug. I've met him at the chapel a few times, and once he invited us out to dinner with him and a couple other people that Tom works with. I got along well with them and I thought they were really nice, and later Tom told me that they all loved me.
Tom and I began our walk toward them, and I had my elbow hooked to his. I tried not to let my sandals get stuck in the green grass, and I had my other hand brushing up against the skirt of my sundress. It had a soft blue floral print over a white background, and a sweetheart neckline that I thought was sweet and perfect for our beautiful afternoon.
I could see the beautiful ocean glistening as we walked up to Doug. The sun was shining brightly above, and the ripples in the water bounced the friendly light of the sun around. Doug turned to look at us approaching, and there was a woman wearing a pastel yellow sundress standing beside him.
"Oh, Tom," I said softly and my hand found my heart. The ocean-view was extraordinary. Even though it was small, it was more than I could have ever hoped for. It was intimate, and special.
Tom looked towards me as we kept walking and said, "I know it's not perfect but—"
"No." I shook my head and smiled brightly. "It is perfect. I love it."
He kissed my temple and we walked up to them and Doug joked, "it's about time you two showed up."
Tom chuckled and said, "we took the scenic route."
Doug looked at me and he took my hand. His face beamed and he said, "Vivien, you look just as beautiful as ever."
I blushed softly and said, "thank you."
"Oh, Viv, this is my mom," Tom introduced with his arm extended out to the woman I didn't recognize. "Mom, this is Vivien."
I was a little nervous to meet her, I really wanted her to like me. I've been going out with Tom for only a few months, so I was afraid that she would think we were moving too fast or didn't approve of our relationship. I have no idea if Tom told her or anyone else about our time constraints. And I'm sure she's not very happy with first meeting me on her son's wedding day.
His beautiful mom had smile lines on her face, which told me that she's a very loving and happy person. Her hair was dark and fell in curls down her shoulders, and I could see that Tom has her eyes.
"Please, hon, call me Margaret. I've heard so much about you. You're part of the family now. In the Hanson family, we hug," she said and hugged me. I hugged her back tightly. It was like hugging my own mother. I missed her so much, and I wished that she was here.
She released me but held my hands. She leaned back to look at my dress with a loving smile on her face. She looked genuinely happy, which was a relief. She said, "you are such a beautiful bride. You look gorgeous. I know how much you mean to my son, and I'm so blessed that you two have included me in your special day."
"I wish we could have met earlier, but I'm really happy you're here too," I said with a smile.
"Are we ready to start?" Doug asked. I guess he was officiating the wedding.
The waves were softly crashing on the rocky shore, and the birds appeared and sang around us sweetly as Doug began our wedding. Tom's mom was here, but other than that we had no one. It was perfect. All I really needed was Tom.
Doug was speaking, but I wasn't listening. I was so exhilarated and nervous, I put all my focus into Tom and it was like it all floated away and we were the only two people in the world. I looked into his sweet brown eyes, so deep in love with me that I could swim in it.
"Any vows?" Doug asked.
Tom held my hands in his and he smiled at me. It took him a moment to find his words before he said, "I love you. I want to give you my whole life. I want the world to know that you're mine. And they say that only fools rush into love, but I couldn't help falling in love with you. I guess they were right, when you know, you know. I'll love you for the rest of this life, and all of the next. I will love you longer than forever."
When he spoke, angels sang from above. His precious words were turned into a love song that will forever play in my heart. Tom then pulled out the diamond ring he had in his pocket. A little gasp escaped my lips, because we had agreed that we didn't need rings to prove our love for each other, but seeing it sparkle in the sun made me incredibly thankful that he blew it off. He slowly slid it on my finger and it fit perfectly. He smiled and said, "just promise me that you will never take it off."
I sniffed and I laughed while happy tears welled in my eyes. I promised, "never."
I had to take a moment to let the tears of happiness subside. If I tried to talk, I knew I was going to cry. Listening to him say how much he loves me made me emotional because I never thought I would deserve this.
"It's because of you I don't need danger to enjoy life. You are my biggest adventure. You always make me feel like I am enough. I love you more than the stars above. I love you more than life itself, you mean that much to me. And if there is eternity, I'd love you there again." I spoke in a high pitched tone, and I tried to restrain my emotions so I had a sincere smile on my face while the tears slowly went down my flushed cheeks.
"By the power vested in me by the state of Evergreen State, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride," Doug said with tears in his eyes. He looked so happy for us, and I am so glad he is in Tom's life. I didn't see Margaret, but I heard her blow her nose.
This was the moment that I've waited my whole life for. I could hear my heart singing as Tom and I leaned in and kissed for the first time as husband and wife. I wish that every kiss was never ending. I may not have known Tom for that long, but some things are simply meant to be. When he took my hand, he took my whole life too. I will forever be hopelessly devoted to him.
I tried to hold my breath in an attempt to never let this moment end. I want it to stay this way. Without him, all the stars that we steal from the night sky will never be enough. My hand could hold the world but it will never be enough without him sharing it with me. My heart is on fire, a feeling I have that cannot be denied. I love him with my whole being.
We thanked Margaret and Doug for making this an unbelievable day, and then we all got lunch together and we headed over to the courthouse to sign the marriage certificate. We looked into it earlier and there were a lot of steps required to change my last name, but Tom said that he knew a guy. He met us at the courthouse with the proper paperwork, and by the end of the day my legal name was Mrs. Vivien Hanson.
Once the day was over and Tom and I drove home, I couldn't stop thinking about the fact that he was now my husband. My wonderful, amazing, gorgeous husband. I couldn't stop looking at him. My face was sore from smiling the whole day, but I didn't mind. He made it so perfect. He is so perfect.
I walked beside Tom from the car to the front door of our house. Suddenly, Tom scooped me up in his arms, bridal style. I giggled and wrapped my arms around his neck. Just one look from him makes me so unbelievably happy. He can make time stand still.
"Whatcha doing?" I asked while tilting my head at him curiously.
"You deserve at least one traditional thing today," he said while carrying me through the threshold. I kissed him, and kicked my feet a little to express my rapture.
He blindly stumbled through the house with his lips pressed to mine. We were giggling against each other's lips, trying desperately to hang on. The honeymoon phase was starting, and I knew I wouldn't be able to get enough of him.
"You know, I had a dream about us last night," he said.
"You did?" I asked with my eyes closed, instinctively kissing him back every time his soft lips pressed to mine.
"I'd tell you all about it, but it's just too inappropriate. It's better to show you."
Wow, that was hot.
My feet were on the ground, but Tom put his around around my back to pull me into him, and his other hand laid protectively on the back of my head as we fell over onto the bed.
"You won't be the same, baby, when I'm done with you," he joked sincerely.
"Bring it on," I giggled and kept expressing my love for him by kissing him. Our lips were moving between each other. His tongue joined the party first, melting and molding my lips to his vision. His tongue was soft, and soon mine went in motion with his, softly going back and forth.
"Has anyone ever told you that your kiss is delicious?" He asked me.
"Not in those words."
"You're like cherry syrup on my tongue."
He rolled me onto my back and he hovered over my body to kiss me passionately. He seductively crawled backward, and I bent my knees. One hand by my side, he leaned forward and his other hand went up my shin and caressed my thigh. He grabbed the fabric of my underwear and ripped it down, causing the soft fabric to tear and a burning sensation on my hip.
I winced at the burn and the devil in Tom's eyes quickly transformed into fear. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry, are you okay?"
I chuckled softly, "I'm fine, I'm fine."
"Are you sure?"
"I promise." I knew I wouldn't be feeling my legs pretty soon anyways.
Slower, he shimmied my panties off and tossed it away, where I noticed the pearl. The ripped fabric slipped off the bed and landed on the floor. Out of sight, out of mind. When it was my turn, I pulled Tom's tuxedo jacket off and tossed it to the other side of the room, and I only got a few of the top buttons of his white shirt released before he crawled backwards with his chest exposed.
Hidden by the floral skirt of my dress, I felt the strong flick of his tongue and he ate me out like I was cake. He didn't even come up for air. My hands clutched the sheets, nearly breaking my manicured nails. I couldn't even speak a sentence if I tried.
Every time I tried to take control, Tom would take the reigns once again. He told me to sit back and let him make this a night I will never forget. Pretty soon, I was laying on my back looking up at him, arching while his hips were against mine. I was rocking with his body, and we don't have to think about anything. I know what to do.
Tom rolled to the side, allowing me to straddle his hips. I leaned down and played tug-of-war with his tongue, not giving him the satisfaction of winning. Then I sat back, and his hands had a firm grip on my ass. His thumb rubbed the fabric of my dress up and down against my skin, irritating it in the best way. I reached to the bedside table to grab the bottle of red wine I put there earlier, which already had the bottle opener twisted into the cork. I popped it open, and put my lips to the mouth of the bottle. It smelled like berries, and tasted just as sweet. The aftertaste was a little bitter, but nothing that can't be ignored. But we don't need a drink to get naughty. After I gulped it down, Tom opened his mouth and I chuckled as I slowly and carefully poured the wine into his mouth like a waterfall. I didn't want us to have to roll around on wine covered sheets, and deal with a stain that will never escape.
After he swallowed, I put the wine back on the table and Tom was quick to bring me back down to him again. He proved to me that my body is like a drug and he needs it by how he bucked all my buttons and ripped off my dress, bringing me back down to the mattress and taking my place. He was like a little boy in the candy store, craving to put his hands on everything. Skin to skin.
"Don't stop," I begged.
He got down and he kissed my hips, leaving marks of my red lipstick on my own skin. He kept touching me, loving me. I felt like I could levitate. This is a very stimulating and natural activity that women adore.
My hands touched his skin, and I could feel his body sweating. His hand explored my body, going down until his fingers smudged the lipstick marks. His fingers were gentle, and his lips were rough. I could taste the red wine on his lips. When he gives me that kiss of life, I die. When I get a little taste of him, I just want a little more.
Don't you dare slow down, don't you dare slow down, don't you dare... wilder... hotter...
I took a ride because he drove me absolutely crazy. Spinning like a ballerina, I hoped that this will never end.
I know my mascara is running and my lipstick is smudged, but I have never felt so good. I got his body trembling, just like it should. I never want to get up, because I know that I'll just be walking side to side.
When we were done, I felt his hands all over me. His lips were sweet like sugar, and I craved another taste. A towel was used to wipe up the thick truffle butter that trickled down my leg, and we spent the rest of our wedding night catching our breath and snuggled together under our thrown-around sheets.
It's us against the world. There is no one I would rather walk through life with than him.
It wouldn't be a storiesRrandom story without even more spice 🌶🌶💋 hope you enjoyed! 🤪
