Chapter 1 - The Ruins
Your POV
"Wha-? Where am I?" I asked myself as I looked up. "How am I alive? Actually, why am I alive?"
I got up off the flowers I landed on and looked around. I went over to the opening and peered down a hallway. I sighed and followed it, only to have to turn at the end.
"Hello?" I called out.
"Greeting, I'm Rosey the Rose," a flower spoke, startling me. "You're new to the underground, aren'tcha?"
"I'm underground? You mean where the..." I stopped talking.
In all honesty, I HATE how our history with the monsters ended. It's not their fault that they are what they are. We don't talk about it anymore on the surface, but seeing someone or something is enough for me to be startled.
"Yes. Where you humans put us after we lost the war," Rosey said. "But, that's in the past. Let me show you how things work down here."
All of a sudden, it was black and white and a heart appeared in front of me.
"You see that heart? That's your soul. The very culmination of your being. Your soul starts off weak, but can grow stronger when you gain a lot of LV," the rose said.
"Uhm.. What exactly is LV?" I asked it.
I knew to ask questions, since people have different meanings for LV.
"What does LV stand for, you mean? Why LOVE of course! You want some LOVE, don't you?" it said.
I hummed in thought, LV usually stands for level. LOVE is different. I don't trust Rosey.
[After the long ass introduction]
"Child? What are you doing here? Especially with that terrible creature?" I heard a female yet motherly voice say.
I turned around and noticed a female goat in the doorway. She was wearing a very...... revealing outfit (at the top).
"Oh. Uhm..." I didn't know what to say at all to her.
"Please. Come with me. The ruins are filled with puzzles. Ancient fusions between door keys. You must solve them from room to room," she explained. "Also, I am Toriel, caretaker of the ruins."
I sighed, but followed her to the end if the ruins, saving here and there as Rosey had told me to do. I sighed and Toriel took me to a room. I, of course, had my suspicions, but it was just a normal room! At least SOMETHING here is normal, I thought.
I layed on the bed and fell asleep.

Sorry if it's short, but that's practically the end of the ruins. I'm not telling you what will happen in the next chapter!
