The Fall
Sally's Pov
"Percy! You're home!" I squealed. I don't care about what Paul thinks, I will squeal when my son comes home alive. He's a demigod, I'm allowed to do that, alright?
After I let him out of my hug, I tell him,"I just made some of my special blue cookies, they're ready to eat right now!" I push into the kitchen, while Percy is saying hello to Paul.
While I get the cookies, I can't help but think, my son is different. He's changed, now it's harder to read him. He's now a warrior.

After dinner, Paul left for a meeting at work, and I asked Percy to do me a favor and do the laundry. As soon as he left, however, I started to worry. I thought I was just paranoid, though. Oh, how wrong I was.
Percy's Pov
My mom told me to do the laundry, and I thought, at least I can start to make up for myself. I took the laundry to the laundry room, (well, where else would I take it?) And I loaded the washing machine. Then something caught my attention.
There were wisps of... Mist? Fog? Something, coming from a grate. I walked over clutching Riptide, and peeked my head in the grate. I didn't even know how it happened, but I was suddenly falling.
It wasn't like the fall into... The pit, it was soft, light, and my clothes billowed around me.
After what seemed like hours, I finally hit the ground. I couldn't see, but here it was damp everywhere. I sighed with relief, then decided to get a move on before a monster found me.
I had wandered for a while and bumped into a... Shell. It wasn't stone, and I felt liquid coursing underneath it. The thing was alive. At the same time as the thing turned around, I whipped out Riptide, full sword form.
Then the thing said,"oh... Another warrior."
