[REPOST] Slitherin' in

Just a quick note to explain this. I cant seem to fix an old chapter from being published in private, so I will repost it now. It takes place before the chapter of Misako's home, so I hope you guys don't mind if I go ahead and do this. If you have any idea how to fix this, please contact me! Thanks so much.

Misako held your hand, guiding you through pistons full of active, sharp lance. You were very cautious of the puzzles, especially for this specific, deadly one. Its spikes almost made you sick by the thought of getting impaled by a huge iron rod. Misako continued to lead you through the puzzle. The sudden bashing noise from the spikes behind you stopped as you crossed the iron plaster, finally making it back to the dusty, plum purple land.

"I do think these puzzles are a little too much for you, my child." Misako almost suggested to you.

Shaking your head, you rush in front of her and continue walking down the dark indigo hallway, marching faithfully in front of Misako. You felt brave enough to do things on your own! You kicked the dust from under your shoes and continue to walk.

The new guardian sighed, shaking her head as she gripped the leather bag. She seemed to have some sort of emotional attachment to the bag and papers the carried. Knowing that someone long ago had lived here, you shook it off as some sort of family thing. Maybe she was related to the "spinjitzu" master?

What exactly was that stuff, anyway?

Suddenly, you heard something move in the far distance. Looking up from the dirt you were previously kicking under your feet, you see a bright, blue tail vanish into a dark corridor. You decided to run ahead, ignoring Misako's calls for you to retreat back to her and followed the tail.

You ended up in a dark hallway. Hearing the tapping of feet, you continued to go closer to where the tail had went. It was much colder now, and darker, too. You shivered as a small wind gusted against you, as you held the previously received shawl tighter around yourself.

"Why mussssst you follow me, human?" A sly voice echoed through the hallway. "You will get lossssst, you know?"

The voice breathed heavily, showing much age in his tone. A glowing pair of almost furtive eyes shined in the dark corridor. You could make out what seemed to be the muzzle of a snake, and the tails slid gracefully across the floor.

"Come any closssser, and you will regret your decisssions..." He growled, the tail hanging low now.

You hesitate. You've never seen any(thing?) like this before. Of course, you wanted to come closer. You felt brave enough to step forward. After "fighting" that dragon, you feel as if you could fight anything!

Taking a step closer in the darkness, you smile, reaching out a hand to greet the creature. It growled in response. You flinched away as the creature quickly approached you. It shown fangs, dripping of thick, green venom and claws were extended out of his hands, grasping a golden staff. It frowned at you grudgingly. It was a snake-like creature that stood on two legs, gritting it's teeth.

"What did I jusssst say?"

You heard a chime play as you entered your second FIGHT. The snake charged, aiming for your SOUL. You dodged, watching it land on the hard, rocky floor. Soon it quickly got up, attacking again at full speed, gripping the staff like a bat and swinging it at you, only to miss again.

Deciding to ACT, you tell the snake that you want to be his friend and that you have no intention in harming him. He looked at you, baffled, gripping his staff again for another blow. With quick pace, he charged again, hitting you on the back.

-11 HP

You gasped, attempting to rub the injury with your now shaking hand as the snake prepared another attack. It snarled at you still trying to reason with it.

"My child! Where are you?"

Misako ran down the hallway to see the snake with the staff, showing no mercy towards his encounter. You quickly run to Misako, hiding behind her. Summoning the familiar golden fire, Misako launched her attack at the snake, scaring it off.

Expecting her to be upset at your actions, you cower in fear behind her. She only sighed, grasping your hand and beginning to lead you onward out of the area. You attempted to give her an assuring smile as she continued to slowly walk to her new found destination, another isolated dusty, purple chamber with a thick and bulky black, rotting tree centering it all. It obviously wasn't living for obvious reasons. Hell, you were surprised if you could live any longer in here. But, with what DETERMINATION you have, you believe you can somehow keep going.

A/N- Sorry this chapter took so long! This week was pretty busy for me. I'm trying to pull some grades up before testing. Thanks for the support.

UPDATED A/N- Once again, terribly sorry for this interruption of order. I'm currently working on the new chapter for Snowdin and the cover art, and am currently still pulling those stinking grades up. Let's just call this  "Lost Episode" or somethin'.

I really hate there being confusion possibly aroused around this, but I wanted you to still be able to read it! Once again, if you know how to fix this, PLEASE tell me! Thanks so much.
