Darkness draped over your stiff, cold body. Your legs ached as you tried to move them. Blinking once, you tried to see if the darkness would clear. You blink twice...

  Panic wracked your body as you hurled yourself up, feeling soft, cool petals beneath you. You had broke in a sweat almost immediately. Grabbing the petals stiffly,  you feel them loosely drift out of your hands. They smelled sweet to even a single touch, so you took a handful and blindly stuck them in your pocket.

  Turning around, you see the slightest light near the end of... whatever you were in. You numbly rose from the scented flowers, gathering yourself to travel toward the light, reaching your hands out to help balance and feel the slimy, earthy smelling walls surrounding you. Wincing at the touch, you turn your head away from the smell to see another room. Much brighter than the last. It had a dreary, purple look to it, feeling just as empty as the last

  Suddenly, after walking into the room, what seemed to be a small, golden dragon floated down from a larger piece of mortar on the ceiling to meet you. It had shimmering scales that nearly dazzled in the dark hopelessness draping over the two of you. He was so giddy and so familiar.

"Why hello there! I'm Goldy. Goldy the dragon!" He announced, whipping his tail back and forth in what seemed to be eagerness.This puzzled you greatly, because, it seemed to have a resemblance of-

  "Wow... you must be so confused! Here, let me help you!" The cheery voice boomed as he managed to enter you into what looks like to be your first FIGHT. He pulled out beams of golden power, nearly blinding specks of light, holding them above you. "In order to survive here, you need LOVE! What is love, you ask? They are given out through these..." Goldy nearly choked on his own breath, swaying his tail slower and lower as if he had done something wrong. "Warm... happy pellets! Yeah! Just run into them! They will make you stronger!"

    Feeling determined, you stepped forward.

  "That's it! Get ready, and get as much as you can!" He cheered as he winked, spreading a wide, teethy smile across his face. The orbs of light surrounding you brightened as they slowly moved toward you and seemed to be happily greeting you with the heat emitting from them. You were so utterly confused by all the darkness blinding you, but if there is light...there is no way that can blind you, right?

    You spread your arms, welcoming the orbs of warmth into you, smiling at the small creature with helping you in the cold and darkness. Even helping you become stronger! What a treat! Your legs no longer felt sore, and your SOUL felt a lot closer and warmer to your senses.

  -19 HP

  Pain ravished you as the beams of light seemed to pierce through your SOUL, damaging you majorly. You fell against the hard, dusty ground as the dragon let out a heart guffaw, towering more and more orbs over you as his eyes became dull in the same darkness that surrounded you both. You were mortified by your own cries and cackles that filled the room.

  "YOU FOOL! In this world, It's KILL OR BE KILLED!" He tittered delightfully, slowly moving the orbs closer and closer to your weak, quivering soul.

Even the strongest determination you currently had may not even help you the slightest at this point.
