*Sonic's POV*
"Shield. Sword. Roll. Kick." Uncle Chuck kept ordering me as I trained at the castle. My suit was too tight this time for me to move freely and I was exhausted since I had been training since 6 am and it was currently 3 in the afternoon. As I kicked the guard I was training with, he fell to the ground instantly, landing on his side.

"Wait. I'm getting a call." I stood up and helped the man up beside me as I leaned on my sword and put the shield down. I didn't need this training, I never even used weapons, but Chuck thought I did as a prince duty, so I had to.

"Hello?" I said once I answered the call, I was panting heavily and had not even bothered to check who it was.

"Hey Hun, the commander needs you for a mission." It was Rouge. "Are you okay?"

"Hey Rouge, yeah, just running. A mission, you say? How come you're not going?" I asked, confused as I walked to Chuck and handed him my sword. He remained quiet, so Rouge wouldn't hear him.

I had a secret. It would be dangerous if it got out. Not one of my friends knew except for Tails since he was part of this as well. It had taken everything in my power to keep this away from everyone, keep it from G.UN. themeselves as well, I never thought anyone would find out unless i decided to reveal what it was. I had been careful, my family ad been careful, I lived a double life as the son of Queen Aleena herself.

"I injured my arm on my last mission with Shadow, and the commander doesn't want him doing this alone. I figured you are the only other person who is able to be around him without being afraid of him, so it works." Rouge explained as I undid my tie, losening it up so I could breathe.

"What is this about?" I needed detail, I normally wouldn't work to help G.U.N. I didn't like the way they worked, so I usually avoided them, but if Rouge was asking me, it must have been important.

"Someone paid G.U.N. to find information about the royal family. You have connections, dont you? Maybe you can get us in one of their next upcoming events. They want information on Maurice." I nearly dropped my phone and lost my balance when I heard her say that. I put Rouge on speaker and called over my uncle, who remained silent so he could hear and not get caught.

"You said someone paid G.U.N. to find information on the royal family? Am I correct?" I repeated what she said so my uncle could hear.

"Yes. That is correct, Blue. Could you help us or not?" I muted myself and looked at my uncle.

"Do it." He nodded at me. "Better to have you on the inside and figure what this is all about."

"They want to know my identity." I said to my uncle. "How could I be in two places at once?"

"We will figure it out then. Just accept for now." My uncle repeated. He stayed silent as I unmuted myself.

"Okay, I'll be at headquarters soon to talk to you guys. I have to do something first. Be there soon." I agreed, I was hesitant, but I needed to find out who had paid them and why exactly they needed to find out who I was.

"Thank you, Blue. See you soon." Rouge hung up, and I immediately dashed to my room, I let my uncle go inform my mother and the rest of our family about the situation. Once I had more information on the mission, we would be able to talk about what we were going to do.

*Shadow's POV *
"Understood." I answered as the commander gave me a yellow folder with everything I needed to know.

"I expect you two to get along." He said sternly. If I even so raised my voice at Faker, I would get punished.

"Yes, sir." I nodded and walked out of the room.

I went into my office, which I shared with Rouge, since she was my partner, and once i opened the door, I saw Faker already waiting for me. I walked to him as he stood by Rouge's desk and dropped the folder in front of him.

"We aren't hurting them, right? I can not do that to them." Faker said as he sat down on the chair and grabbed the folder. "What exactly are we doing?"

"All we have to do is find out what Maurice secret identity is. It is strange G.U.N. doesn't have any records of him."

"Have you met them before, Sonic?" Rouge asked Faker as he opened the folder, it didnt have much other than what the royal family has been up to the past few years and who the other two siblings are.

"I met them before. Yeah, I think I could get us in their next event." Faker nodded and rested back on the chair as he put the folder back down. He had only scanned through it, not really reading much about it, which pissed me off. I already knew he was not going to be taking this seriously.

"When is their next event?" Rouge asked. She was supposed to be at home resting but refused to leave the two of us alone, thinking we would start a fight. As if I was stupid enough to do this now.

"Looks like in a week. They have a fall festival they host and have a banquet for those who have helped them throughout the year. I could make some calls and get us in. You've got a suit, dont you?" He asked me while scrolling through his phone, making me roll my eyes.

"Yes." I flatly answered, clearly annoyed.

"Great, then I will let you know when and where to meet up." He stood up. "Say, do you know who paid off G.U.N. for this mission?"

"No, that is above our pay grade." Rouge answered him.

"Right. And what do they want us to do after we find out?"

"Read the damn folder, and you'll know." I growled as I shoved the folder at his chest, making him finally grab it and read it.

"They want us to make it public?" He said out loud. "Okay. Easy enough."

Working with him was never easy.
