Chapter 2:

Changes:

After the incident with Fran and my escape, they decided that it would be better if I went away from Wiltorm. My father scolded me like never before in my life and everything will change for me.

Today is the day!

The day in which I change of identity, life, and country.

My full name is Diana Wincher and my new identity was Tom Wagner.

Like Diana, I had beautiful hair that surpassed my waist, and I was used to good vocabulary and etiquette... but to be Tom, They cut my beloved hair.

I think that was the most painful part of the change, although, after Fran's death, it wasn't so important anymore. My hair was long because he liked long-haired girls. And without him, it didn't matter anymore.

They bandaged and bound my bust, which suffocated me, it pressed too much. They taught me another type of vocabulary, which is used outside the nobility. They put me on gentlemen's clothes and sent me to a male boarding school in London.

I boarded a private plane with 20 other bodyguards. To be honest, it was not so "private", I really needed to be alone, I needed to accept all these changes, but they followed me like a shadow everywhere.

Luckily, in high school, I was going to be away from them, because they must go to take care of the king and the queen, my parents, during the war.

The plane reached the mainland and everyone began to get up from their seats.

As if that were not enough, when I got off the plane I tripped and hit my face against the ground, everyone around me got upset and quickly helped me to stand up. Yes, it hurt, this happened because I was not used to wearing pants or shoes, as a princess of a country used to be with heels, dresses, and skirts.

"I think that from now on nothing is going to go well..." I whispered rubbing my cheek

"Sir, Tom, don't think that way," said my assistant and teacher of "how to be a cool boy," which was not working.

Slowly we were approaching the lobby of that great structure.

At the residence, the smell of sweat with moisture floods my nostrils. It was stupefied; don't they take a bath or what?!

<< Recover the composure, Diana, you aren't like that, calm down, everything will be fine >>

I looked at all my companions and they seemed to have no sense of smell, I was dying because of that stench and the others there were all calm as if smelling jasmine.

"Excuse sir, this is where we split" he approaches my ear. "Remember that no one should know your identity and don't use words like stench, alcove, lobby, and wait for me, hear me, and so on."

"Yes, I know," I said despondently. "I'm sorry; I wanted to say I'm reluctant. The worst thing is that mentally I had used several of those words two minutes ago.

"Goodbye, and be careful, do everything necessary to not be discovered, the future of Wiltorn depends on this, our country and its people trust you," my assistant said as he walked away and shook his hand.

All of them left leaving me alone without any instructions as to where I should go; boys and gentlemen passed me by inspecting with their eyes every little detail of my face.

<< Now, what do I do...? >>

"Student Tom?" I heard.

I turned to see who my savior was and a lady was pointed at me to come closer.

"Good Morning! My name is Jessica, and I'm the boarding nurse; today, I'm the assistant director since she could not show up, so I came to help you find the office," she said with a kind smile.

"Ah, thank you very much, miss," I answered cordially. It's complicated to say, miss, lady sounds more elegant.

Jessica helped me get to the director's office and beckoned me to brace myself and touch that great door.

When I came into the director's office, he was drinking a very frothy coffee, or at least that was what his mustache full of foam told me.

"Good morning, Mr. Director, I'm Tom Wagner," I said, bowing, which I regretted the second since out of the nobility bows aren't used in greetings.

"Oh, it's good to see that someone at school has good manners," he said with a contagious and friendly laugh.

<< Saved >>

"Thank you very much for the compliment, sir," I replied, trying to calm my nerves. How can I bow? You're such a...

He invited me to sit in a chair in front of him.

"First of all, welcome to the school," he smiled.

"Thank you very much." I returned the smile.

"In this boarding school we have several rules to follow; I hope that this isn't a problem for you." He raised one of his well-marked eyebrows. "You will find a book of rules of coexistence and meal times in your room, on the bed.

"It won't be any problem," I answered trying not to look at the foam in his mustache.

"Well, sir ... Tom Wagner, his room is three hundred and fifteen."

"Understood, Sir."

<< What a high number, I don't want to climb so many stairs... >>

"The rooms are shared, that means you're going to be with another boy in the room, I hope you both know how to get along properly and don't have to go through three hundred and fifteen to put punishments," he said as he raised one of his eyebrows again.

"Of course not, sir, there will be no problem," I answered. Why would there be problems?

"Well, you can retire."

I bowed and left the director's office.

<< Oh no, I will hate my good manners if they cause me havoc >>

Jessica was waiting outside to give me a map that indicated where each room, alcove, living room or garden was located inside the residence.

"Thanks, Miss Jessie."

"You know, if someday you're hurt, come and get me."

"Yes," I smiled and said goodbye.

Took that map and I started to review it, it was very complex.

"Mmm, let's see, how is this? This way? ... No..., not this way? ... Nor ... Auch!" I said touching my nose.

"Ah! We seem to have a new student in Hell," said a boy about 1.70 high.

"Hello, good day! How are you?" I said as kindly as possible.

"Good morning, little one," he said, smiling and somewhat bewildered. "Can I know what you're looking for?"

"Of course, I'm looking for the room three hundred and fifteen.

"Come on, I'll take you."

"Thank you so much for helping me."

"By the way, what course are you on?"

"I'm in third grade. And you?"

"I'm in third grade too, but please do not call me from you, it's weird."

"Oh, I'm sorry."

<< Silly, silly, silly >>

"You already thought about what club you are going to join?"

"Mmm, no, I didn't know there were clubs at school.

<< What are clubs? >>

"Well, we have soccer, martial arts, and tennis."

"Ah ... They all seem very funny."

<< Sports ? Is that what you mean with Clubs? >>

"We are here, room three hundred fifteen ... I hope you get along well with your partner. Oh, by the way, my name is Chad and yours?"

"I'm Tom."

"Well, goodbye Tom," he said as he gave me a hand clasp and gave me those strange hugs that for them are hugs, but it isn't so ... I do not know if you understand me.
