taehyung was currently in a room with many things that inmates could buy, he got a little bit of money from working in the cafeteria. so he could go shopping a little. while he was looking around at stuff you could buy he was thinking about how cool this was. when he picked a book and a fluffy blanket he handed in cash and walked outside, smiling when he saw jimin under the tree reading a book. 

he quickly jogged towards him, bright smile on his face as jimin waved at him. as soon as taehyung was under the tree, in the nice shade and placed the blanket down and laid on it.

"come" the brunette said, patting the spot next to him as jimin shuffled closer. 

"its nice to see you smile tae, did your first shopping experience in jail go well?" jimin asked, looking at the book in taehyung's hand. 

"yeah, I got these for really cheap. a blanket to keep me warm and a book to keep me entertained" taehyung felt happy with his choices. 

jimin's eyes travelled to the males neck and chuckled, catching taehyung's attention who looked at him. "im guessing that is jungkook's doing" his statement made taehyung blush a little, nodding as he placed his book down. 

"he told me what happened, and weirdly enough it worked" jimin yawned, shuffling to get more comfortable. 

"what do you mean?"

"well, there have been a group of inmates who fancy you and have been trying to get their way with you. once three inmates saw jungkook kissing your neck and grabbing your body, it makes people think your his. a lot of inmates have decided to leave you alone because of it"

"like I said before there will be one idiot that will keep trying but it helped a lot of inmates open their eyes to leaving you alone"

"are you on dinner duty today?" jimin asked, looking at taehyung who nodded. 

"you on washing today?" 

"yeah, I will wash your blanket after this and put it in the dryer so you have it for when you go to sleep" the pink-haired male said, patting his shoulder before looking at the other inmates playing on the court. 

"you and jungkook have done a lot for me, thank you" taehyung whispered, full attention on jimin who softly smiled. 

"with us, you will always be protected" 

those words stuck to taehyung like a record player, the same sentence running through his thoughts often. he had already eaten dinner and was now finishing the dishes, his eyes caught someone moving closer to him and soon felt something sharp slice against his thigh. 

he let out a scream of pain and clutched his leg, catching the guards attention who raced towards them. they pulled the inmate off taehyung who dropped the kitchen knife and pushed him out the cafeteria. 

taehyung was being held up by an officer, who was saying random numbers over his intercom. loud sirens went through the jail, inmates were loud as they wondered why the sirens went off. jungkook turned to look at jimin when they saw officers rush inside the cafeteria, the raven's heart stopped when he watched taehyung being carried, blood dripping from his thigh. 

jimin soon gasped and went to stand up but was held back by kai who shook his head.
