Sakura: Adri, were back! Are you writing the chapter?

Me: Oh your back, yes I am.

Sakura: The others are around there somewhere. I'm going to go check on Sasuke, make sure Sarada doesn't drown him in glitter and tiaras. She has something for making her father a princess. 'Luck on the chapter.

Me: Thanks. Tell her I approve. By the way do you know we're Naruto and Hinata are I need to talk to them about the N.U.B.

Sakura: Uhh well. They never came in, Naruto needed to talk to Hinata about something. Bye!!

Me: Byee!!

Okay that was a close call! I'm glad I'm a smooth liar. I want to thank saim890 who was the only person who helped me before the crew came back for their lunch!!!

I need to go to Naruto and Hinata, but before, let's get strait on with the chapter.

Naruto's POV:

Time: 7:13 pm

Okay this is the night. This is were it all starts, well it actually started when we got to the hotel, but you get the point. If something goes wrong here, it's Kakashi-sensei who'll be breathing down my neck for the rest of my living days, so I better not mess this up by getting caught. Ugh but it's the best part! No! I need to refrain myself from getting caught on purpose.

Tonight's the night of Ōtsutsuki Offices' gala, I've got to say that this is pretty nerve racking, you know. I can't even imagine how nervous Hinata must be feeling about going to a gala, let me think about it...

Hinata's POV:

Time: 7:13 pm

It's the night of the gala and to be completely honest, I'm not really that nervous about going to a gala. My father had been invited to many galas and I would sometimes go with him, so I kinda know the routine.

Naruto's POV:
Location: La Barca Hotel; Room #I124
Time: 7:15 pm

After I thought about it I came up with the most logical solution.

Hinata's going to be a nervous reck.

She's always been that way, she's pretty good for a spy, but she has kinda a nerve problem. But for the past time we've been together on this mission, I can say that the only thing getting in the way is whenever her face gets red. I'll just hope she doesn't faint.

I'm waiting for Hinata to get out the bathroom, she just went in, from taking a shower and dressing. I'm wearing a tuxedo that I got for when Kakashi-sensei was inaugurated Hokage. I glad for him but really, they could have chosen someone better, like me, you know?... Okay I need to stop.

~Time Skip~
Naruto's POV:
Location: La Barca Hotel; Room #I124
Time: 7:33 pm

After about a good while of waiting for her to come out, I heard the sound of the bathroom door knob turning and I turned my sight to it. When Hinata came out, my mouth went a little agape... I thought I saw a part of heaven.

Hinata came out wearing a long dark purple dress that matched her lavender eyes, but I say that of her eyes were their normal lavender white pupiless eyes, but she had to wear colored contacts so that no one would know she's a Hyuga. I was kinda sad about it since I like seeing her eyes and their gentle look. The dress almost got to the floor, so that's how long it was. On her feet she wore a pair of silver heals that were at least five to seven inches tall. She wasn't wearing much makeup but she still looked amazing. Her midnight blue hair seemed pre-washed, ironed, and organized. I would have expected some fancy jewelry but, surprisingly, no, all she had were small silver, I believe diamond, earrings and a locket with a small chain around her neck, that just reached the end of her collarbone. I'd always see her wear it so it didn't surprise me that she was wearing it.

After taking in her beautiful appearance I noticed I was drooling a little, so I wiped it off. I had to admit she looked beautiful but I can't let her distract me, this is about the mission.

"Naruto, are you ready?", she asked in a questioning tone, the gala was supposed to start at 8:00, last I checked it was 7:33, I check again and saw that it was already 8:06, time flies. Means we need to get going.

"Uhh, yeah. The gala should have already started by now. Let's go", and with that she picked up her thin white sweater, purse, held on to my arm which she seemed hesitant about but we have to look like married couple so she went with it, her cheeks slightly turned pink, to which I smiled at unconsciously, and walked out the door to the elevator to head down to the lobby.

On our way to the gala hall we had to ask a clerk for directions and he gladly told us.

We made our way to the door and there was an employee who had long dark blue hair, black eyes, a black blazer, and a name tag that read 'Tamika'. I found her familiar... Oh yeah! It's Ino but in her disguise! Damn, she is good at changing her look! I couldn't even recognized her if it weren't for that picture Shikamaru send us.

(A/N: Just to refresh your memory)

"Hi guy, you were able to make it. I'm glad", she said in a different voice than her normal one, like I said she's good, you know. I was wondering if she dyed her hair or is that a really realistic wig, because you know how those things are, they look man made from a mile away, but her hair I can't even tell if it's fake or not. I'll probably see her again when the mission is over with her regular blonde hair.

"Tamika, thank you for getting us invitations, we really appreciate it", Hinata responded to Tamika and she let us in after telling us that Sakura and Sasuke had already arrived, since they got a head start it was good for the mission's parol.

We headed into the gala room and there were so many people talking, eating, drinking, or just sitting around. It was a busy place, so getting information will be hard, but I'll give it my all.

"Hina–, I mean Miya", I called mistakenly almost calling her by her real name and not by her alias. "Do you wanna take a seat or walk around?"

"Let's sit down for a while, then we split up, does that sound functional?", she requested, and it didn't seem much of a bad idea, we'd need to notify each other of our plans.

We found an empty table on the right side close to the center, and sat down. Hinata or Miya said she was going to go around and see if she could get an appointment with Toneri, off of any of the employees, it wasn't a bad idea at all! Weird, the past few days Hinata has been surprising me, I'm starting to think very highly of her abilities, I haven't met someone like her..., she's unique.

What's also weird, Hinata's been unusually serious about this mission in particular. Hinata's main focus has always been to succeed and do her best when a task is provided, ever since we joined the agency. It's not like we had frequent missions together. But whenever we are assigned together, she was usually very serious about it. Kiba himself said on a mission it was because she didn't want to be the 'weakest link', but be just as fundamental as her teammates— not better—; even if it meant she had to push herself to her limit and beyond. But for this mission... it was different, something about the determination in her eyes...

Something's up.... Don't jump to conclusions! I haven't had a mission with her for months, she could have changed.

But enough about Hinata's perspective of missions. I was going to see if I could get any information about any upcoming projects that Ōtsutsuki Offices may be planning, or even already being worked on. Hinata also thought it was a good idea, and I couldn't help but feel proud of myself.

We decided we'd meet back here if we learn anything useful, I hope we do,I'm sure none of us want to leave empty handed. I decided to leave first so I got up from my chair ready to leave "Wish me luck Miya", after I said that I gave her a kiss on the cheek like a husband would do to their wife and went to get information. I didn't even notice her red face until I turned to look back at her.

Hinata's POV:
Location: La Barca Hotel; Ōtsutsuki Offices' Gala
Time: 8:35 pm

When he kissed me in my check I immediately turned into a tomato. I need to control myself, were on a mission and just pretending. He's always had that affect on me that it'll be hard to refrain my reactions.

I stayed seated for a while so that it wouldn't seem weird that both of us are separating at the same time.

Shikamaru put a little camera on my left earring so that he could record faces of guests and analyze their identities, incase he finds someone of interest to the mission, so I would pull some hair back on my left side to that he can look without my long hair getting in the way. Naruto and I both have a transparent earbud on our right ears if he needs to make any contact with with us.

~Twenty Minutes Later~

After a while I felt eyes on me but I didn't bother to look, but then a man  with light brown hair, some of it pushed to the side, and dark brown eyes, with a tuxedo popped up next to me.

"You know, a beautiful woman like you shouldn't be here all alone on a fun night", he said while smiling at me, I looked at him with trained eye, wondering if he was safe to talk to him. He looked unarmed so I thought he was safe. From my quick analysis, I saw that he must've been a business man, single, in his late 20's (maybe 29), intelligent, and probably in a high position in his job.

"Umm, thank you, but I'm not really alone", I said, I felt like I could get my goal if I make good relations with this man, I gave it a shot.

"Your company doesn't seem to be here, why don't I keep you company while they're not here. The name's Kaori, Kaori Hutama, Chief Industrial Officer of Ōtsutsuki Offices, it's nice to meet you. Would you like to get a drink?", he introduced himself still smiling at me and extending his hand for me to shake. When he said his office position I knew he was a good person to fulfill my goal. Chief Industrial Officers are I close to the CEOs of the business they work in, since he works in Ōtsutsuki Offices, he must be close to Toneri Ōtsutsuki.

"My name is Miya Nerivan, lawyer at Heiking Law, it's nice to meet you too. Yes, a drink sounds nice", I introduced myself while shaking his hand, and agreed to his request.

He reached out his hand to lift me up, which I took. He also closed the chair I was sitting on, which I thanked him for, to which he responded "A woman needs to be treated like a queen, I'm only being polite." From here on I figured he was mostly a gentleman, maybe tonight would be successful.

We went to order a few drinks but I didn't really drink much so I could stay focused. We talked for a while about life, told a few stories, mine were relatively fake since I'm going with what the alia's document said, jokes, and about business. About an hour later I asked if he could get me an appointment with Toneri telling him it was so that I could get some advice in business management from someone who's been so successful at its subject, in case I ever get a case that involves me needing to know about business management, which he said "Well, Toneri's a busy man, but for you, I'll see if I can sign you up for Friday, sound good?"

"Yes! Friday sounds perfect, thank you Kairo", I thanked him. I celebrated internally when I realized that my goal may or may have gotten the closest it can get.

Kairo and I continued to talk but were interrupted when something or someone got in front of me.

~Five Minutes Earlier~
Naruto's POV:
Location: La Barca Hotel; Ōtsutsuki Offices' Gala
Time: 8:25 pm

Phew! I'm safe. I almost got my cover blown, but I think I got away with it! What happened was that while I was talking to one of Ōtsutsuki Offices' workers I almost spilled out my identity. Thank goodness that I was able to correct myself, and saying my alias instead.

I feel like I should go back to the table to tell Hinata what I've got so far. I think she too was able to get something of information too.

When I make my way to our table I notice something out of the corner of my eye, I saw something that made my stomach twist and my head turn. I turned my eyesight and saw Hinata talking to a handsome man about my age or so, he was talking to her with this smile that got me feeling mad. I also saw how Hinata seemed to like his company, maybe it was just a way to get information from that guy, but it still irritated me. Why he was feeling this way, he had no idea. But he wanted it to go away, or that guy to get away from Hinata. I focused my attention on the guy and I swear to you that I saw him getting close to her and like a snapping turtle I snapped. I made my way to them and got in between the two and I looked him in the eyes basically, through eye contact, telling him to back off. "Hey bud"

"R-Renzo?" , Hinata spoke behind me catching my attention, so I turned myself, my attention fully her. I didn't know why but I suddenly grabbed her hand and her cheeks turned pink for some reason, but I couldn't deny that she looked cute that way. "Miya, I was looking for you."

"Umm, I'm still here", the guy that was talking to Hinata suddenly said, reminding me of the twist in my stomach that I felt whenever I see or hear him.

"Oh, sorry Kaori, I should introduced you. Renzo, this is Kaori Hutama, Chief Industrial Officer of Ōtsutsuki Offices. Kaori, this is–", I cut her of by instinct, for some strange reason I felt like I should have been to one to say this. But I hope she doesn't think of me as rude because of it.

"Renzo Nerivan, engineer at Miraike University, and Miya's husband", I said while extending the hand that I wasn't using to hold Hinata's, so that we could shake hands, even if I didn't want to. I realized then that when I identified myself as 'Miya's husband' I didn't say it as if I was speaking for the alias, but for me and Hinata. When I realized this I felt a little happiness and a ping of sadness in my heart, I couldn't explain why.

"Miya, I didn't know you were married. Well it's a pleasure to meet you Mr. Nerivan", he said, that smile of his still plastered on his face, did this guy ever frown?!

I wanted to say something else but some lady speaking on the microphone telling everyone to take their seats as if we were on an airplane. Kaori said that he needed to go to make sure everything is going according to plan and told Hinata something about talking to Toneri about some appointment, said his goodbyes and left. I'm guessing Hinata was able to get an appointment, I internally gave her a standing ovation for her success.

We headed back to our table to, surprisingly, find it empty, I suppose it was luck. I opened the chair for her and she sat down thanking me, I'm still a little mad at that guy that Hinata was talking to.

After we exchanged information (of course Shikamaru was hearing through the microphones that came with the transparent earbuds), she of course told me about the appointment she was able to be signed up for, I told her that I talked to one of the employees about any recent projects that may be taking action, I was told of this one upcoming project that was going to be 'Out of this world' and that it was going to be launched this Sunday. That got us thinking.

Shikamaru told us that Sasuke had figured out about some weird noises you hear at a construction site when you sometimes walk through the back of the Ōtsutsuki Offices' building. Sakura found out about a few odd signals being sent from the building, but when Ōtsutsuki was questioned, they merely say that their has been one computer that has been having a few errors and sending signals mistakenly. Still they were both suspicious.

After that we heard a man being introduced through the microphone and we turned to see a tall pale man with bright blue eyes, lighter than mine, and shaggy white hair. I'm guessing that's the big man.

Toneri Ōtsutsuki, CEO of Ōtsutsuki Offices.

"Hello and welcome all who was able to make time to assist on this night, it is vey much appreciated. Tonight we are here gathered to celebrate and thank all of the success that we have been receiving", he talked some more about his thank yous but all that was entering my ears from there on out was 'blah blah blah'.

Hinata's full attention was on the white haired man. Her entire field of vision was on him. She seemed to have been analyzing each of his words, movements, breaths; she noticed it all. Almost as if she was the interrogator and he was the suspect; in search of all the answers hidden in him.

The determination burning in her white pupiless eyes, spreading like wildfire.

Something I had never seen up until today.

Though I couldn't help but pay attention to what he said next, "But I would also like to say that this Sunday Ōtsutsuki Offices will be launching a project that we have been working hard and determinately on. This project, if successful, will be a stepping stone to change our world for the better. We hope that all will go well and that our hard work and dedication will not be wasted, neither that nor your patience. Thank you very much for hearing my voice, enjoy the rest of the night", after he finally finished his long speech, the crown stood to give a standing ovation, so did we.

~Time Skip~
Third Person POV:
Location: La Barca Hotel; Room #I124
Time: 11:44 pm

It was reaching to be dead night and so the two Spies decided it was time to retreat to their hotel room. The information they obtained was good enough, they wouldn't be able to get more since the guests would be leaving soon unless one got too high and dropped out.

When they reached the hotel it was the normal routine, they ate at the gala, so the only thing that was left was to shower, dress and lye down.

Naruto's POV:
Location: La Barca Hotel; Room #I124
Time: 12:07 pm

Kaori had told Hinata that he got her signed up for an appointment with Toneri. I was proud of her, but I just couldn't wait for that guy to leave. Once he did I was in peace.

All I did was a quick shower, put my clothes on and lied down on the bed. I wasn't able to get sleep for some reason, but funny is that when Hinata got here she said "Good night Naruto, get a good rest, you seemed very tired", she must've thought I was asleep but I didn't say I was awake. Somehow hearing her voice got me to feel more asleep, but not fully.

After she lied down I figured she knocked out completely. I turned my body to look at her and noticed that even in her sleep she looked beautiful, I was looking at an angel, in awe.

And yet, even if her eyes were hidden from me, I could still see the determination she had even in her slumber.

After a while of looking at her face while she was in her deep sleep, like an hour or so, I was feeling a bit drowsy. My eyelids were getting heavier by the second, I tried to refrain, for some reason I didn't want to sleep, I wanted to look at Hinata's face longer, or maybe I didn't want to ever look away; why I'm feeling like this is still too foggy for me to see and understand early, but, maybe with time, I'll know. Then suddenly sleep was getting the best of my consciousness, yet before I dropped out.

"Good night Hinata, see you in the morning".
