Vijay's POV

"I love you ." she says.

Her eyes close, and her breathing becomes labored. I hear footsteps at the door, and banging follows. I quickly duck, grabbing the gun next to me, ready to shoot. The door bangs open.

"Vijay!" Shaurya's voice reaches me.

"Shaurya!" I shout. "Here." I stand up, Rekha still in my hands.

Behind him, Divya and the boys rush in. Karthik and Yash work on defusing the bomb, while the others help me get Mithra into the car. I get in with her and Rekha, and Shaurya gets into the drivers seat.

Divya and Gautam get Mithra's aunt into the other car, and follow us to the hospital.

We rush Rekha, Mithra, and her aunt into the hospital on stretchers. 

"Doctor!" I yell.

"Vijay." Mithra whispers. I am clasping her hand, tears pouring out of my eyes.

Doctors and nurses come rushing to us, taking the stretchers into operation theaters.

They rush Rekha into the pediatric wing, and tell us to wait in the waiting room. I am standing against the wall, my eyes closed, leaning my head back. I pray to every single god I know and can think of right now, hoping Mithra will be fine.

"Vijay!" I hear. I open my eyes, and see Reddy sir, rushing toward us.

"Sir." I say, hastily wiping my tears.

"I came as fast as I could when I heard what happened." he says.

I just look down at the floor, unable to say anything.

"How is she?" he asks.

"No news yet sir." I answer sadly, staring at the floor.

He sighs, and pats my shoulder.

"I probably shouldn't tell you this now, but I think it is best you know. She is going back to Pakistan tomorrow. If you want to finish her, you have to do it tonight." Reddy sir says after some time.

I look up.

"Sir-" I start, but he interrupts me.

"Don't worry about Mithra and Rekha. We all are here." he says.

I still look at him, unconvinced.

"We will inform you if we get any news." he assures me again.

I nod. "Yes sir." I say.

"That's like my boy Vijay." he says.

I manage a faint smile.

Reddy sir gives me a piece of paper with an address.

"This is the address that we received. She's staying here tonight." he says. "From what we were able to see through the drones, security is not tight. You should be able to get in, finish the job, and get out quickly." he says.

"Ok sir." I just say.

I stand in front of the address that Reddy sir gave me. It almost looks like a normal house. I see four people at the entrance, all armed with guns.

My Bluetooth is in my ear, and I am in direct contact with head quarters.

"I'm going in." I say.

"Ok." is the reply I get.

I tighten my grip on my gun, and take a deep breath, preparing myself. Kicking the gate open, I begin shooting. By the time the four men realize that is going on, they all drop dead. I run up the steps, and look through the front door. There is no one in the hall, so I slip in.

I look around, deciding my next move, when Shaurya comes onto the Bluetooth.

"Vijay." he says.

I tap twice on the device, signaling that I am here.

"Mithra's aunt passed." he says.

I take in a big breath, closing my eyes for a moment.

"And Mithra is d..."

I feel a sting on the back of my neck.

And suddenly, everything goes black...
